You should have put the 305s on the back it would grip a lot better then the 275s. I doubt putting bigger tires in the back would hurt the car in any way other then your mpg a bit.
Loving the Scat Pack. Those wheels are fantastic! Would you share if you know the proper 20×11 hellcat reps to put on a narrow body HC Challenger? Looking to get these and put flares on the back. Anything you could share would be Awesome! Thank you
Love it. I didn't care for the wheels you had on it. These wheels are a total game changer in my opinion. By far the best upgrade you have made so far in my opinion. Just love the car now.
This is def a big upgrade & one that really changes the overall look. Couldn't agree with you anymore - I think this looks so much better (over the stock wheels). Very happy with the overall look now!
Great looking setup, congrats! The website for Vicrez says the 111413 fronts are 9” instead of 9.5” as stated on the box…strange and perhaps a website error. The +20 offset could cause an issue, since stock 9.5” OEM rims used a +18 offset to clear the big calipers. The rear 10.5” using a +25 offset would probably cause rubbing issues when you decide to run a 305mm tire…5mm space was a good call. I run Konig Ampliform 20x11 rear +21 offset with 315 Michelin PS4 and they rubbed ever so slightly on a Charger (slightly more room than a Challenger). I would definitely recommend the Michelin PS4s for your next set (275 front and 305 rear)…they are amazing in terms of performance and wear.
i will never be happy enough that you have a charger and went n got a challenger. i have a chally & im so happy to see you like both cars so much you wanted one of each. props bro i hope one day ill also have a charger
That cold start was proper!! Excellent wheel choice too. I’d love to see what it looks like and how it handles with a set BC coilovers in the future. That’s if I don’t order mine first.
Thanks man. You will likely upgrade the suspension before me - I'm going to see how this performs stock once my Charger comes back & then move on from there.
I ran 315s on the rear on mine. I have to say your videos made me want to get a challenger again. Might take my rebel back and get a kitty 😂 I like the hood wrap. How’s the glare with the gloss?
They're a ton of fun to drive & they look really good ripping around town. Hope you get a Hellcat down the road. No issues with the gloss at all - I typically drive with sunglasses though.
Quad tips and lowering springs. Wheels look great. What exhaust are you going to go with? AWE and right now Thermal R&D exhaust are 300 dollars so check them out. I had them on my Scat. 3 inch system and 4 inch tips. I'll send you the link.
Pretty good set up I like it……. can’t wait to you get your other car back. It’s been definitely a minute mind is coming apart again today for the super charger to be sent out to be ported. A new bearings put in it down at FAS motorsport Florida. I’m doing a video on it today.
Looks awesome RT. Yeah I love the rims too. I'm gonna run 275 all around on my stock 9 inch which is the max of course. But not now when I smoke all my 245 up frist 😂
I run my narrow body Scat with 275s all the way around. Not sure if 305s would work with my 20" X 9.5 inch stock rims. I think I would need 10.5 " correct?
This is what you should do. 1: whatever the hell you want! I have ‘10 w/275 front and 315 rear. I needed spacers for the front. I went cheap at a parts store to get home then bought billet aluminum vehicle specific to replace them. Spend that extra money.
I love the look so no regrets there. if I want a little more performance the 305's street/strip tires will go on. I wanted to try the 245's in front for extra weight savings & to give the back a little more of a beefy look. You will not regret doing a setup like this - looks awesome
i'm going 245 up front 315 out back for that drag strip look but for the streets glad to see it executed! the body/fender liner needs cutting and massaging to work with the wheels without spacers. also vicrez could've gave us a tiny bit more caliper clearance in the offset or making face concave..they are red eye reps that don't clear 6 piston brembo what the heck😂
Hey brother...I saw an article and had to swing by and see if you heard of this...the 'Infamous Blackout Charger', and 'Undefeated Charger', apparently out in Arkansas, is undefeated in police chases, lol. Figured maybe a video idea for ya. Hope you're well 🙏
Similar to what I just put on my charger for spring/ summer. 10.5x20 Rear, 9.5x20 front. Fr-66 from factory reproductions. 275 45 20 up front. 305 35 20 out back. Uhp summer rubber all around. Without spacers and +15 offset they fit perfectly.
I usually agree with most eveything you do on the channel. Not this time. Love the overall set up. Love the wheels. Hate the tire stretch from putting 245s on a 9.5. wide wheel. BTW. Anything less than a drag radial or track day tire on the rear of a 392 is gonna spin like crazy.
I knew some wouldn't like the 245's in the front - it's not as common when upgrading to a staggered wheel setup like this. But I will likely throw the 305 ET Streets on when I go to the strip
Check out my instagram - it doesn't looked stretched. Looks pretty flush - but I like it for now so I'm going to roll with it. instagram.com/p/CrgjVSlOZwb/
Cool. I was just watching on a cell phone like I usually do. If they look great in real life that's good. I love watching your videos because you are always honest about stuff, unlike other you tubers just trying to please everybody.
Just went through this whole wheel thing on my cat and learned quite a bit in the process. There's quite a bit to consider from a fitment standpoint if you're not going with OEM or factory replicas. On that note - I thought these were factory replicas from Vicrez, so I'm surprised you needed spacers to clear the brembos.
I heard it was the back spacing or offset, but I got mine from Factory Style Wheel Hellcat Widebody devil split rims, but I have could went with Factory Reproductions company but mines 11' in the rear and will rub the inner finder liner with 315 35 R20 Michelin PS4S, don't F with nittos they are a rip off tread life wise, if your daily driving and not street /or strip racing they look cool tho. I loved the PS4S had to downgrade from them @ 450-500 a tire to the General Rs Maxx I believe it's called in 305 35 R20 which will likely not rub we'll see tho the Michelin I bought they ran on AMG Series Mercedes so it kinda explained the price hike, but all the tires went up 2 to 3yrs ago.
Damn I been eye balling these wheels too, but on another video someone had got them but it didn't look as good as yours, i don't know what it is. What's the offset ?
The offset is +25 - these things look awesome. Super happy I got them & finally installed them. The 245 & 275 tires look great on there - very muscle stance.
The car looks good either way. Although now the car looks better. The new wheels you choose are my first choice wheels when I get my Challenger. I've always liked that style. However the wheels that originally came with the car I've seen before on other cars and didn't like them. For some reason they looked good on your car.
You're in Fl? I'm in St. cloud area. Oct 29 there's a big car meet going on in Orlando. Idk if you heard of it (mystery meat 6). I wana get a group of challengers and chargers together to roll in together to the meet. its $10 per person to get in a drag racing is included with your admission.
I'd like to go with old school Cragar style rims but i'd have to swap out the front brakes with 4 piston instead of the 6, and figure out the tire and spacer size.
If your not going with 275/40/20 front and 315/4020 in the rear … then u should go 255/40/20 front and 295/40/20 in the rear it’s just the best figment for the Mopar cars .. but for me as of now I had 285/45/20 front and 305/45/20 in the rear and I love the phater tire stance the front has now .. and I’m lowerd 3 inch …
@@RTLife Bought my 22 scat brand new last October. My Rumble Bees (both sides) have the head in the front, looking back. It's the Shaker package, so all it has is the bee. It doesn't say 6.4 ...so maybe the bees were different that year for the trim package. I like the symmetry of the bees looking over their shoulders. And nice car btw!
@@RTLife I beg to differ my friend! I have 500 hp in my srt-10 and I feel like I could have fun with a lot more. I think the supercharger adds so much front end power off the line that it’s definitely worth it
@@alexanderlang8274 I also have a twin-turbo 397 Charger build - if I want more HP, I will jump in that once the transmission is properly tuned. It should be making 800+whp when I get it back
@@RTLife dude I love that. I think TT on the 5.7 is the way to go, but the 6.4 would be an absolute monster supercharged. That’s like a dream build for me
