still make me laugh. it's on tonight re-run TV ONE NETWORK i rewind 1x scene like 5 x then come on to read comments online about this specified epie. so funny !poor guy.he was so frightened.
musicaltheatergeek79, I know it's a pain to type! lol I wanted Beautifulmusiclistener, but when I first selected the name, it was too long. So, I had to improvise. Your name was easy to type because all I did was copy and paste. Logic tells us that he was doing it on purpose because each time he was adding more and more emphasis to the words he used. Otherwise, he could have said "Is that it Doctor Huxtable" instead of "Is that it, Doxsta Huxtable"! It's just a brilliantly done video!
First take: Tyrone(Jason Warwin)said, "ls that it, Docster Huxtable". Second take: He said, "Uh, is that all you wanna ask me, Docsta Hustable". Third take: He said, "ls that it, Doxster Husable". 🤣🤣🤣
@@donowens7872 I never get tired of seeing this clip! It is so funny, and it is so well done, and for Bill Cosby to think that he can get through the scene without laughing, that makes it even funnier. I just love this clip. I just watched it again, and it's still hysterical!
I seem to recall watching a longer version of this particular blooper years ago. I may be wrong, however, I thought after several more attempts that Bill Cosby said something along the lines of, "The boy can't do it. He just can't do it!" along with some other commentary. Either way, this blooper should go down in "blooper history" in the top three of all-time CLASSICS!!! 🤣😹😆😸🤣
The 3 bloopers that bring tears to my eyes every time: this one, the one with Grace (WILL AND GRACE) dealing with the young nurse at the doctor's office who can't drive a car, and Kramer (SEINFELD) trying to eat all that bread so he can go into the store with Jerry, where eating isn't allowed. I cried like a baby watching each of these bloopers endlessly - and they are here on RU-vid!
My husband and I have laughed so much and so hard and so many years over this that it's become a daily saying of sorts in our house that carries over to our friends. They know that "do you need any Doxtah Husstable" really means "are you out of your 2 ltrs of Dr. Pepper" to us.
The director is telling him that they're gonna start with the funny line which is the one with Dr. Huxtable in it and Cosby says no no, like don't start with that one start at the beginning.
He couldn't say Dr Huxtable without it being funny. I remember seeing this episode. It was still funny and they were trying not to laugh. They kept the scene.
If u watch this clip in its entirety on the actual Cosby Outtakes Show u hear a loud thud in the background which is y they originally couldnt use this take
I remember seeing this on that show that Ed McMahon and Dick Clark did with tv show bloopers. Later on the kid actually nailed his line perfectly but there was a loud bang off camera and the take was still ruined BUT Cos went on a rant about what he'd do to any boy that messed around with his daughter in a creepy way, etc. I think the kid was trying not to crack up in the background and when they yelled cut, they all died laughing again.
I think the director was going to change the line from is that it dr hustable? To ok dr huxtable but bill was like no hes going to get through it. Thats why he said fire your best shot.
I know Bill has a million other things on his mind right bout now, but if l was to have a brunch or lunch, walk and talk with him, l would ask Bill what sent him on the first one. Was it Tyrone's quick response or did he peep the way Tyrone was making those faces out the corner of his eye, or was it both.
For anyone who needs encouragement: Romans 8:18 “The pain you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming!” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Whatever is going on right now, have faith, your situation will get better. :) Jesus bless anyone reading this and happy new year!!🥰✨💖
Some kids have trouble with certain combinations of sounds. And sometimes if they start mispronouncing a word it's like they can't stop doing it. I had a student who kept getting stuck trying to say the word "trousers", it would come out "throusers."
It’s deliberate. He was supposed to be “scared” asking Vanessas father permission to take her out so him being so scared that he messes up his name was supposed to be funny for the audience but bill couldn’t get thru it because it’s deliberate but still HILARIOUS 😂
I don’t think the actor ever said Doctor Huxatable correctly. If you watch the actual episode he still doesn't say it right. I guess they just gave up.
@@DJD11920Was it the actor messing up the line or was the line actually "dosster husstable" because Tyrone the character was just so nervous to meet him that he couldn't speak? I always thought it was that the character was so nervous since he says "dosster husstable" in the actual episode. Either way, it's hilarious!
