Possibly still the original engine. Edit: just found out it is swaped: it was a 280GE and has OM606.. But the G's were build with those engines too. So in general build up with stock main parts.
Hi guys, thanks for the comments sorry I don’t have time to answer Every one, it’s a 722.6 transmission with the Ole controller we don’t fit them anymore but my g wagon was built a few years ago when they were still popular. The vehicle is a 1988
Absolute dream build. The ultimate “grocery getter”. Factory triple lockers and a shit ton of reliable German diesel POWER!! What more can you ask for...
You would have a loyal diesel freak customer if you guys were in Australia. I’ve got a Toyota Prado with I4 larger turbo, plus 15% flow injectors, Monster Max ECU, top mount intercooler replaced with massive thick front mount intercooler with temperature sensors on the in and out side of the intercooler, digital gauge. Custom Aluminium intercooler piping, snorkel, 2.75 mandrel bent exhaust system from turbo to tip, digital turbo boost pressure gauge, digital EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) gauge, analog transmission temperature gauge with seperate transmission cooler and nomad valve bodies installed. Tuned on dyno. All work done by 1kd Performance in Bundaberg about 3 years ago. Just over 300,000 klms and minor preventative engine parts replaced due to klms travelled. I have fun with a V8 Ute from the lights the other day. We were neck and neck until I hit the brakes at 50 klm/hr due to his merging lane and proximity to school etc. I think he was surprised!
Nissan Patrol GR 3.0 Di Turbo yes still below the radiator like the modern G wagons, have you seen the new armour that we sell with the kits? I don’t thing anything is going to damage them in a hurry.
@@DieselPumpUK I have not seen it, will take a look at your website. I don't actually have a g-wagon but I do a lot of offroading, and I have never seen anyone put intercoolers underneath until I saw these conversion videos. I enjoy watching them, so keep'em coming!
Hello, I installed an OM605 ON Ssangyong Rexton I did replace the electrique pump with the one in the original engine of the vehicle which is the 290 TD and I put K&N filter and removed the EGR but I'm disappointed as the performance is in medium power of this engine. Please can you help with suggestions. Thanks in advance!
@@cameronk6621 kinda what I figured. I know that use to use them. But I've seen Like comments on something lately that made me think he went away from OF. Whatever it is it shifts good.
