Hey the new trading system is better bc when we accidentally unbuddied someone then we can just search her/his username and trade them and ask them to send a buddy request
Not really a feature, but it's true. There has been a lot of toxic people in Animal Jam lately, and someone insulted my trade list, I do not care about it, but kids who play the game might, and I hope the Animal Jam community will evolve and help make Animal Jam a safe, nice, and a great game to play again
The features I miss the most is definitely the loading screens and Club geoz. Now I REALLY want those loading screens back! They brought lots of excitement into the game. I also miss being able to walk around and not seeing any members, because at the time they didn’t exist.. I miss the old days.
i miss the old loading screens too ;000; something i wish they did was make you be able to buy new loading screens and you would be able to choose what it was, like cards for jam a grams. i remember all of this lol
I remember the loading screen, I started playing 2018, but I took a whole year break in 2019, and now when I came back I’m like hUh where’s the pictures😭😭😭
I miss treasure hunts. I did like 20 treasure hunts everyday, and I’ve leveled up a lot trough that! I can relate that with the wallpapers, and it does annoy me a lot that they’ve gotten there own shop 😅 Oh i really miss the old trading system. I think the chat is very annoying, and also people keep decline if your not dressed “rare”. That’s so rude!

I also remember when they would (animal) only area’s whenever a new animal came out. It was so fun. But now i’d go into the bunnies only area and see to arctic wolves there. I just wish different animals stuck to their own areas.

I remember when treasure hunts got removed, my phone was sending your treasure hunt is ready even when the feature wasn't anymore. And also the bunny in the loading screen, because I only played for 2 days at 2016.
😭 This was so nostalgic! I miss everything on this list and especially the old trade system! I get really anxious every time I have to talk in the trade because I usually end up getting yelled at by the other player since my device is so laggy and takes forever to select the items I want :(
Ikr same! Im anti-social and I hate having to talk to someone and sometimes it just gets awkward, and if it takes me a while to select an item the other player always says things like, “hello?”, “are you there”, etc. and I’m like, geez be patient and don’t rush me.
I remeber the loading screen that had the safari mansion den as the backround, and (I think) a giraffe and seal in the pool/ slide area! Also, anyone remember when the gecko would run on the earth while it loaded?
My dj headset went from the worth if 11 forests to... 6 forests.... I’m so sad... I’m so happy u mentioned dj.. it’s my fav item and it went down so much.. I literally traded pink bow forest and curly... 😭
I heard that they got rid of treasure hunts because it was overwhelming for ajhq to have new items for each animal everyday. If they got rid of treasure hunts so they could add other things into the game without constantly having to worry about creating the next treasure hunt items, In my opinion I think I understand where the person that made this theory was coming from.
I miss the treasure hunts so gosh darn much. I WISH they were still here... I also do miss the old trading system a bit, and the new trading system makes me less exicted, but it's easier for me to trade items of course. The new wallpaper and flooring shop is also pretty annoying too.

I miss most of these features aswell tbh. Mostly the old trading system. I'm a very anti-social person, so when I don't like the trade I get anxious to tell them that I don't like the trade, so I just cancel and leave ajpw trying to act like I glitched out. Aswell I hate it when someone randomly trades me to ask for free stuff or to switch items. Or showing a wishlist item of mine and asking to offer for it when I'm not in the mood-
Everyone is talking about club geoz and stuff BUT PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE HAS FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE OLD CHAT! I prefer it so much more than the default keyboard, I really hope it’s brought back someday.
I really wish that I could have gotten into ajpw earlier. I joined in 2021, and I missed out on a lot. I wish that I could have played in the treasure hunts. I think that they should bring back the old animals, not this new stuff with dogs and cats :( . If they want more players get rid of the rarity system and bring back the old animals and the old dens. Everyone loved those dens like the Vintage Estate, Python Palace, and all those other ones. AND THE PETS! Bring back the Sugar Gliders, and raccoons, cheetahs, lynx, and the cougars, and all the others. Bring back the old animal jam, please ☹️😔.

From a beta player I got to say #1 I miss it #2 I miss it to much #3 I miss it to much #4 I miss those art pieces now we just have a logo :( #5 miss it, also they seriously had to bring back flower crowns! I had every color! #6 Yes :( otters never got their party and that's my main animal :( #7 its much easier to get scammed now or be superrr picky and not annoying by canceling a lot beause its annoying for the picky person to :(
What I find annoying about the new chat feature in trades is more so the Jammers than the actual feature itself. Often because I've been playing Animal Jam in general for years and I have membership almost contant I often have jammers begging me for free stuff or asking for donations. I know they're just kids but it gets really annoying and repetitive after a while.
I actually miss the old ice in mount shiveer that didn't look like phantom goop was under it too XD I sadly didn't play aj when geoz club was a thing oof, and a few weeks after I joined the old trading system changed, I only remember making two trades with the old trading system OuO- one buddy who kindly did an over trade for my 2020 glasses and someone who accepted a random trade for their spiked collar
I'm not a youtuber or anything, but I also hate the new trading system, only for the chat system. Trading was just a chill little activity i'd do, with little to no chatting. I don't like having to be social while i commit to my little anti-social tasks. I have seen people be called rude for declining a trade without saying so, people cancel trades with me simply because i'm very silent. I think it's annoying.
the feature i miss is the treasure hunts i rember every day me going to plat aj with my bunny player and my wolf and getting sooo exited when i thought something was rare :)
For treasure hunts I think they should make an item you can buy (or come as default) where you can just press a button on it to enter the treasure hunts or make an option near the jamaa journal you can just press. I miss the party’s and the new animal areas. I wish there was an option if you wanted to chat or just trade/offer. It’s not that hard to just add two arrows ;w;

One of them I remember was that you could see which of your buddy were on instead of scrolling on your buddy List just to see who’s on I hope they bring that back, if you confused it had the usual tiger and monkey but with a Green dot, if you click on it you could see which of your buddy’s are on,
the loading background thing is very strange to me, since classic still does those, and they do what you said, they reuse older ones, and its still fine, so idk why they removed them from play wild
club geoz was iconic but for as long as i can remember since 2015-2016 pretty much nobody went there, i don’t really understand why everybody is still so mad about it, especially since there is a party just like it if you wanted to visit for nostalgia.
I have something awesome. So basically I hv an old iPad that won’t update. The animal jam acc on it won’t lemme in, BUT I HAVE the old tiger in a sled loading screen. Btw, another thing is those awful epic bundles. What if my best pet gets put back in store?!?

Treasure Hunts...Club Geoz etc✨ ✨I started AJPW in December 20th 2016 I was 11 at the time I was bored and when the add of AJPW came up while I was playing Horse Haven I was even sick with a virus which wasn't severe I simply had dizziness, vomiting, and fever and when the add came on my ipad I said to myself "Oh wow... New game! I'ma make an account today and have some fun" now as an AJPW player since 2016 I'm feeling nostalgic about how AJPW was before my favorite loading screen in AJPW was the Halloween and the summer time screen the memories...✨ ✨Also I agree with those opinions about the features I love the art 🎨✨
