Looks more like Chinese food. I swear y’all Filipino be adding one little ingredient then call it “Filipino” that’s coconut Shirmp with chow mein bruh. Ain’t no Filipino
@ck-bs2ms that's cool. I'm referring to my people, my family and like-minded people. All of MY encounters have always been welcoming. Obviously, not every single person or family is going to be welcoming, so your comment only sounds like you're trying to be a troll or be negative.
Filipino BBQ or Filipino food is underrated. More people need to try it. I suggest trying Filipino BBQ skewers and chicken adobo over rice if you had Filipino food yet. You’ll fall in love!
Pinoy food is AMAZING. Never had a bad meal with my Filipino friends. Bibingka in the morning, some lumpia and pancit at night. I get why they such uplifting people…they eatin good! ❤
@@LiveLaughLovecraftas a Filipino ur the one with bad taste atleast appreciate the fucking food man most people can't even buy food and u disrespecting it like that?
As a Filipino, that looks delicious but I’d never pay $33 for a casual plate let alone a street vender plate that don’t even have a bunch of overhead cost. People really be tripping now days 😂
@@egate8177 A fancy restaurant has a lot more overhead cost and dinning space then a street stand. Also, I’m not spending $30+ dollars a plate unless its an occasion and at that point your spending that money to sit down and have an experience with friends. Trust me, I’ll always choose street food over dinning in but for that fact that its supposed to be fast, cheap and good. Thats the point of street food.
@@massK1LO that’s the OG MEMPHIS Grizzly Logo my guy not VANCOUVER Grizzly, you can clearly see I’m not 10 on my picture 😂 I’m 27 Tell me you don’t know basketball without telling me 🤦🏿♂️
Fusion food. Maybe they kept the filipino flavor profile but made food that are more accessible to the market. I can't also name anything on that plate lol The shrimp confused me
It's Fusion, but the root is still Barbecue, the shrimp is called camaron rebosado but in garlic sauce and the egg noodles I think its either pancit bato or habhab
I can. It’s just bbq, pancit, and shrimp. It may not be the common food served but it still is recognizable imo. Pancit for example can have chicken, pork and shrimp at the same time! Sometimes, more even, like i’d add squid rolls/balls to mine and chicken and/or pork liver.
Yeah, it might seem that way but to be fair, small businesses don't have the economy of scale of larger businesses that may charge less. They're probably buying their food and supplies at Smart and Final or Costco, so paying close to retail rather than wholesale.
Bro mcdonalds will run you just as much for some bullshit. Just face it, the prices of everything are through the roof right now. We are headed into some rough times.
I thought this was expensive at first but that 33 dollars feeds 2 people that's about 17 dollars a person you go out to dinner with your partner or friends you're paying around 30 dollars not including drinks so it checks out
Man. I wish that there were food trucks in my area that served all kinds of cuisine (Filipino, greek, etc) that you could get food from on any day. Where I am they usually come out when there are events going on in the city.
