Hi I’m actually posting a skin prep video this week so stay tuned for that :) With the Face Atelier foundation it has a primer already built into it so especially you don’t even need to use anything unless someone is super dry!

Thank you Sheryda! I would say that there is maybe a slight oxidation that happens, but it's not super drastic or anything.

I forgot to mention this in the video but these foundations actually have a built in primer so you don’t need one! I still use one for extra insurance, but honestly I haven’t found a primer this foundation doesn’t go well with!

Hi there! No I wouldn’t. You have to be careful to not mix foundations with different bases together. I looked it up and the L’Oréal foundation has a water base and the Face Atelier is silicone. They can have the tendency to separate if the bases don’t match up :)

@@kattieguerrero4370 I believe its also water based! You can figure out the bases if you look up the ingredients on Sephora's website. It'll be the first ingredient listed :)

Hi! I had those foundations about 8 years ago when I first started my makeup career so I really don’t remember what shades. I’m sorry!

@@julieruby it’s ok lol I ordered my third batch of the face atelier in 8 different shades I’m great with mixing to create shades and it has been great on my bridal and baby shower clients. But I wanted to have a cheaper brand for when I do my younger clients for Quinceañeras and proms since I don’t charge them like I charge my brides. That way i can save my expensive brand for bridal only!!

Great question Yasmin!!! I've found that the Milk Hydrogrip Primer works fantastic with this as well as the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base :)

@@yasminnavarro1245 I just use 2 concealers in my kit but both work really well! I feel like with concealers I doesn’t matter as much for formulation! I just use the Too Faced Multi Use and Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away.

Hi there! I would say they last a pretty decent amount of time despite their size, but yes you will have to refill them more often. I personal would recommend getting the 0, Heat, and Blaze adjusters as well as the lightest shade and darkest which would be 0.5 and 12. In the video I swatched all the shades so get however many in between you feel like you can work with/afford at the time. Just know that you don't have to get every single shade in the range. I've been working with what I have for the past 3 years now and just mixing!

@@julieruby thanks so much. I also seen you use the CT lightwonder foundations as well. Are they for more lighter coverage requests? Also do you have a full coverage matte foundation range? Would the RCMA foundation palette be a good option? So overwhelmed with options.

@@julieh5321 Haha ya it's definitely a lot to think about! However, please don't just go of what I have in my kit. I would highly recommend you getting one of each foundation you are thinking about putting in your kit and trying it out for a few months on yourself before buying range of them. This is just to see how the formula is, how it applies, layers with other products, etc. My biggest mistake was just automatically going off of someone else suggestions... buying an entire range and wasting about $300. So would highly recommend testing out on yourself first! Each artist works differently and there's a HUGE difference between cream and liquid foundations in application methods so see which one you like working with better :)

@@julieh5321For the CT Light Wonder, it is a more lightweight dewy foundation. I get a lot of brides that want a more minimalistic looks so for me this is ideal, but see what your clients are requesting to evaluate if this will work for you :) No, I don't carry a matte full coverage foundation bc it's not the kind of look I specialize in.

@@julieruby thanks for the advice. I will purchase one of the Face Atelier foundations in my shade and test it on myself before buying multiple shades. I’ve tried the CT lightwonder. I didn’t like it as much as I did initially, I found the formula changed after a year and the spf in there may have gone bad. I bought the back pack make up bag you recommended after doing research. Looks so good and functional. This is all getting me excited 😆

Definitely feel you! At least Face Atelier has a darker mixer shade that works very well, but yes I definitely agree with you on that!
