People don't understand that their Basic Scrublord Brains can't handle things like "Secret Boss trigger events" if you don't EXPLAIN WHEN THEY TRIGGER.
And why the fuck did they say it was so important anyways? They're not gonna know that Kurt Zisa was a fan, that's about the coolest part. They're using a guide so they'd have found it anyways.
the thing they were looking for in argrabah wasn't the super-boss, it was the one single NPC that shows up right after you clear the world but before you leave. There's this huge meme that there's no NPCs in Kingdom Hearts cus cutscenes that are supposed to have big crowds are totally empty, but in KH1 if you look around the world before you leave, there's no enemies and there's a handful of NPCs around, and no one noticed this for YEARS because no one sticks around after beating the world
I always thought it was interesting that Traverse Town had a palette-swapped Tidus and Agrabah had a palette-swapped Wakka, but I could never find Selphie....
I always wondered why the Halloween Town ghost Heartless show up in Monstro, and I just realized: they represent all the sailors and other people he's eaten over the years. Yet another terrifying aspect of this game for babbies, if true.
Has any of the SBFP compilations had a survival-log-like "1st day... 2nd day..." format regarding recording sessions? Because they really have a way periodically starting new episodes with the sound of rustling papers and an, "okay, we're back, and we have _vital new intel!"_ message.
@@unversedhero6028 who lost to Malix? And Malix fought someone!? Man, these chains seem to be very weak and easy to tamper with. I wonder who's doing it?
Guys, please don’t tell them about the secret bosses before they even unlock them, it kinda defeats the purpose of them being SECRET in the first place. Also, the amount of time wasted farting around in Agrabah sucked too
Let's be honest here, it took them 5 parts for them to learn how to use a single potion, and they only just now learned they have cure. I highly doubt they would have found out about secret bosses even with the strategy guide.
The only secret boss that i know of that would actually be a cool surprise is Sephiroth and they already know about him, is there anyone else I'm missing?
Also fun fact: In Monstro, Green Requiem enemies spawn right in front of the correct door in each chamber. I believe if you back-track to Geppetto he'll give you a line about these little pips that like to lead people deeper into Monstro's stomach like mischievous gastrointestinal will-o-the-wisps, which is your clue to follow them all the way through.
I want this to go into overdrive and take over the channel. Like just. This LP continues. Then Matt and Pat play Chain of Memories. Pat and Woolie play KH2. All three of them play BBS, 3D, and 0.2. Boom, 4+ LPs worth of content to last them forever.
At the speed they're going, they could probably hit KH2 if they do the cliffnotes version of CoM because its literally just KH1 again by the time 3 drops
The Remix (which they are playing) only has cinematics for 358/2 Days and Re:coded, so that's two LP options gone. And as a KH fan...Re:Chain sucks ass. Card game mechanics are crap in the game and not worth 89 episodes of Matt bitching. Now 2 and BbS are great options as long as they are told the correct order to play Terra, Ventus, and Aqua.
@@namegoeshere5220 Right. So. What I'm thinkin' is. They should mount a full on assault on Liam's house. And just have him go into Re:CoM's Theater on his completed file and they all just watch it together.
For those wondering what Disney owns when it comes to classic public domain characters, If Disney creates a certain design, character trait, musical themes new characters and branding, that's theirs. Now if someone wants to do the same story, avoid ANY simularities to Disney or another company, you can be as accurate to source as you want or make new ideas, and you'll be fine.
To be fair, KH is basically Naruto and Star Wars but with time travel. They'll understand it with their combined knowledge. Just tell Woolie that Organization XIII is Akatsuki and he'll be all in.
@Groisu to be fair, i dont think its fair judging people who i can't discern if they have hated the game or were neutral (clearly not love) on being slow at a game, i for one suck at shooters for the most part. look at my videos for that proof. However to OP, praise be to yevon Bruddah! Now to kill them dirty Al Bheds!
EXACTLY! Like trying to give them tips is one thing. But if you expect them to listen to you RIGHT AWAY through your angry typing then you're wasting your time haha
As of the WHALE MAZE Donald deaths 16 Goofy 7 Who the fuck told them about the secret boss THIS EARLY. Also this level is the worst, but at least it doesnt have any vague objectives like something that comes after *cough* Atlantica *cough*
A new day, a new recording session, my friends. Compare Matt to DSP if you'd like, but you won't see DSP acknowledging his commenters and complying as soon as possible like this.
I mainly being cynical from the Tony Hawk LP, but I'm waiting for the part where Matt starts getting mad at his fans for giving him/woolie tips on how to play
@@crazygamer4260 It probably does get annoying after a while. This is the first time either of them is playing it and everyone apparently wants them to be experts at it. He's not anywhere near DSP level since he can figure out how to input his name.
I think their wording is what actually annoys people. "I can't tell if this is doing anything", Matt says fighting a boss with scan uneqipped, is particularly rough.
@@ShimmerFaerie The pot scorpion at the palace gates in Agrabah. KH FM introduced unique enemies in each world for super rare synthesis drops. Pot Scorpion drops Mythril Stone I believe
I'm a KH fan and I'm loving it. The cure and scan things have been frustrating, but there's so much good stuff that it doesn't bother me too much. But holy shit that person telling them to go back to Agrabah really pissed me off. Not even Matt/Woolie's fault tbh
Reminder that the Coachman never gets his comeuppance and gets away with his insidious crimes (this was always the scariest and eye opening part of the movie for me)
Oh thank god they know about Cure now... *finally removes palm from face after days* Now they're gonna spend half an episode... trying to fight a boss they haven't unlocked yet-- *Palm breaks own nose* ow, guys...
The reason some scenes aren't voice acted is, because they were added in the final mix version. They didn't want to gather the entire cast just to voice a couple scenes.
So im 90% sure that whoever was so excited about Agrabah just wanted they guys to see the recolor wakka who only shows up at the palace gates right after jafar is defeated when no heartless show up. Other wise its the fanmade kurt man.
Even I didn't know about them, but apparently they only show up directly after beating Jafar and then disappear again because of the Heartless respawning. Also they're just palette swaps, although the Wakka one is pretty funny.
so you know how this game has a villain from each disney game controlling Heartless because they're super evil? Yeah,i'd like to imagine Monstro is in on it too.all the Heartless inside him are like those tiny little birds that clean alligators' teeth
i hate that i'm just yelling for ten minutes "THE CORRECT DOORS GLOW GREEN. THE GREEN DOORS!!!!GO THROUGH THE GREEN ONE!!!!!" because that's something i didn't even know about until like two months ago. every time i come back to this game i discover something new about it
I wish I recorded my face when I saw Scan wasn't equipped yet, probably similar to that of a kid who got their candies stolen. I guess one thing at a time...
Whoever gave them misinformation needs to be blocked or deserves some kind of punishment cuz this LP should be based on what matt and woolie figure out.
Guys, going back to certain areas only happens later in the game, the game will tell you when you should do it. Also, dont forget that every game is critical to the story of KH(outside of Kingdom hearts recoded), to understand the story of KH3, it is imperative to know every game, and this collection makes it very easy to do that. dont skip anything(outside of recoded cause fuck recoded)
I know now, without a doubt, Kingdom Hearts has provided a goddamn space whale to swallow Matt and Woolie, and Matt and Woolie were in the belly of the goddamned space whale three days and three nights.
You go back for a special boss yes. But it unlocks later in the game. You'll get a notification that something new is happening in aragrabia or something and go back to Aladians house and you have fun with that. Yes I did beat it
Maybe one day Matt will realize The Jungle Book isn't a Disney IP... and also start using magic on the Large Bodies because circling them takes 100 years.
Okay, I'm a little disturbed at how many people aren't remembering things that were in the PS2 version of this game. The cutscene where kid Riku and Sora go to the secret place IS in the original, guys, it is NOT a Final Mix exclusive. The likely explanation is that they didn't want to choose child voice actors at that point in time for a scene that, while cute, is relatively unimportant, which is why they didn't go child-actor-hunting until Birth By Sleep.
AUGH! I got tricked by an ad the second they walked into the Treasure Room! 100% thought I was getting treated to a cut scene, but NO. Skitz you, RU-vid!
I thought I was just hearing things, but did they in fact redo the music for the HD versions of the game? The only version of the first Kingdom Hearts I've played is the PS2 original, and I remember the music sounding different.
@Calmpurple Exactly, there are voiceless scenes in both the original Japanese and international releases. They're meant to evoke a storybook memory kind of feel.
There is a optional boss in agrabah but only if you complete hollow bastion's keyhole. Then return to agrabah on the flying carpet and then the boss appear during the carpet scene
