You have an amazing set up! The only thing I would add would be a titan cable tower that bolts to the wall. Extremely small footprint and adds some additional functionality.
This is it man! Straight to the point and awesome. You got the set up to take anyone to the level they need to get to. I'm definitely doing this. Sweet gym bruh!
Hey Rick, love your channel so this is just out of concern, what you're doing @5:58, do not do that, you'll injure your discs. Always keep a bend, like you were doing before.
Iam running out of space but I like cable machines. I just don't know if I really need it?? also have a rogue wall band station that I made with the matador dip station. So I am not sure if I really need a cable machine? What do you think? This is what I have in my garage gym.... I have echo rogue bike, ply box, lat pull down bar, rings, kettlebells, tire, mace bells, battle rope, punching bags, power block dumbbells, medicine balls, sled, band station with matador dip station, barbells with prx foldable squat rack. Stall horse mats and other stuff. Been thinking about getting cable machine though. I don't do crossfit but I like to do functional workouts, hitt workouts and kindda heavy lifting here and there too. If I get functional cable machine lime the inspire one at Costco I will probably sell my lat pull down, what do u think??
Very good gym man.Very informative. But the way u did lat pull down and t bar row(land mine) was very bad if we look at the form. Don't hurt urself. All d very best :)
Loved the video, esp loved the idea of the fold away bench and rack, I have a spare bedroom gym with a very small footprint and this information will help me make it more versatile.
I've been seeing a lot of the Fitness Gear plates from Dick's lately on YT. Buyer beware, the 45lb plates aren't standard 450mm diameter, they're a bit smaller.
you can buy from Prx Performance, Tydax Fitness or Rogue. We did same, checkout our video at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VWoy5ot4lFg.html
Thank you so much for the links -- I have been actively looking for the mirror and hadn't been able to find one that was "just right." The fan and lighting are also big helps; just what I needed.
What brand is the bench to you do inclines and legs? I also have 2 lower back buldging disk and don't do barbell squats anymore cause don't wanna compress spine. The leg machine working out for u?? How come you don't do landmine belt squads instead?
great equipment...lousiest execution form ever...dude before investing on gym equipment spend some time on learning how to perform exercises properly...no offense your home gym is nice and complete.
@Jerry Cole - I have a hex bar and standard. I'd never consider hex deadlifts, I use mine for shrugs and farmer's walks. Newbies use hex for DL, it's easier but there's a reason no competitions so hex bar lifts.
@@faithfitnessandfatherhood There are cheaper options as well in market, checkout our video at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VWoy5ot4lFg.html
@@marklanston7256 I think he meant the cable is good for tricep push downs as well as lat pull downs, but he didn't explain that and it sounded wrong, so wrong. Lol
if you can park 2 cars inside of a garage and still have a gym then you have a garage that is larger than most people. While this is a good video, it's not practical for most people because of the space constraints. Typically, people are trying to use 100 sq feet of space and that's without parking cars.
Rick Buck most people looking at setting up a home gym are newbies, using incorrect form on purpose for a video is idiotic 😂 hopefully no-one copies you off the back of it haha
Ignore the meatheads questioning your form. Most people don't realize how bad their own form is and if that is all they got out of this video they are really missing the point. .
???? I never say lat pull downs are good for triceps. I mention how you can use my cable system to do Lat pull downs and work out triceps. Is that your confusion?
@@elizabethzaffarese8818 yep the lat pull down cable system can be used to work out triceps and do many other lifts. But I think you get that if you have ever used a pulley system... as I reiterate later.
