Getting out of the mission Tip of the Spear at the end and walking out into the battlefield was awesome. All the vehicles are small models and you could walk for about 30 mins before hitting the edge of the map.

Imagine the hot air balloon being in the campaign, that’s probably how noble 6 survived after hiding in a cave Also armor lock glitchy makes you invincible which I like to use to annoy anyone who I play with

The last one with the spartan "statue" was most likely just a model either in-game/engine, or actually part of the model for that building, that's used as a scale to reference by. So that everything is sized properly. Not to mention, in Halo's engine, all enemies and vehicles are categorized the same as players. So being able to play as a seraph isn't just "part of a cut gamemode", it's just how the game works. You could play as a grunt, hunter, and whatever you want. Though I guess the fact that you can actually "press X to enter", is good evidence that it was planned at one point. Odds are it's just an activator that you could put on anything in the game really.

10:10 I remember when Halo 4's multiplayer first got shown off at some event in 2011 and they had people play it, somebody used that Ridgeline forge glitch to make a surprisingly accurate copy (pre-make?) of Haven for Reach while it was still being called "Wraparound."

The glitch at 6:34 still works you just cant be the host of the lobby. Ive done it recently on mcc on xbox1

A quick tip with the floating building/hot air balloon glitch btw, you can use a continuous focus rifle beam to steer and control the balloon while you ride around inside. Used to do it all the time in 2010

Looks like Wolfy stole that Falcon the hard way. The easiest place to line up the shot is just past the river you drive past in the truck, on the left side of a farm with an Elite patrol that ambushes you, on top of a cliff you can parkour up to using the rock placements. From here you can use it for CAS or just skip to the troopers, but the trouble we had was progressing the level by getting the Spirit to push you out of the map without getting killed by the elastic barrier or causing the rest of it not to load in

These glitches bring me joy, great memories. Additionally, I remember being an ass & putting a grid in the island and setting the physics to normal. Once you let go it'll create extreme lag and ruin the map.

The hot air balloon glitch reminds me of the halo 3 map where you can fly the elephant. Think it was called mammoth good times lol

Hey Rocket Sloth on Halo 2 mcc, you should do an episode where you play legendary mode using the infinite ammo skull and the scarab shot skull. The scarab shot skull makes any hand held weapon shoot scarab shots which is like a nuke

Also, there's a gametype with soft kill barriers disabled. Would be great for gametypes, never seen anyone use it for a forged map though.

That firsr person Warthog glitch is still in MCC? I had that happen to me early on after it released on PC when I did a FireFight match on Installation 04. Thought that it would have been patched or something. Or perhaps because it seems to be rare for it to occur, 343 either doesn't know about it or doesn't care because of how rare it is.

I had a Scorpion once in multiplayer, we had a lag out so the lobby went to black, and when we got out of the black screen the main gun was destroyed but was still able to fire.

Actually, with the thing about getting out of the end of Exodus, it was intended. There is an Easter Egg where you can see a group of marines. Doesn't seem to work on MCC as there are no marines for some reason, but you get an achievement for going there on MCC.

All I basically did on this game was play splitscreen with my friends. Or forge at the very least over live. I loved playing online by myself and firefight but nothing compared to all the adventures we crafted in forge world. GRIFBALL WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU

6:34 This is my favorite, and It broke my hearth when I found out that it doesnt work anymore, it also works with the elite but Instead it's a copy of your elite with a random armor effect and ultra white modded color. Altough in one of my invasion games I headshoted an elite and he used his ability at the same time he died and the glitch worked correctly, the Elite Hologram just started walking with the version of his elite + inclement weather effect ( which he didn't have this was back when Reach just released on MCC ), and also the ultra white color on it.

The reason why Armor Lock no longer works correctly on top of Pelicans is because of a glitch(?) with the framerate. The framerate is 60 in the new versions of the game, whilst it was 30 in the original. Whenever you're on top of an object that's moving vertically, the game now thinks you're in the air, and rightfully cancels Armor Lock. Your Spartan will always do an "in the air" animation when this occurs, so it's very noticeable on the mission Oni Sword Base whilst riding the elevator on Co-Op. I'm unsure if this was originally intentional to try and patch these exploits, but I think it's currently safe to say that it wasn't due to how much impact the new framerate has unintentionally on specific aspects of the game. The DMR now shoots faster because of it, and letting Emile make the bridge gap jump on the mission The Pillar of Autumn comedically sends him twice fast across the gap.

I used to suicide bomb my brother on Forge world by sticking myself with a plasma grenade up against a wall, turning into the Forge monitor, flying to him and then switching back to a player

I recall a particular glitch where you could take tires off of a mongoose or warthog without destroying them. They handled very weirdly without them. Sometimes, not at all.

What about the friendly elite glitch. It actually works better with the time travel glitch you mentioned on winter contensioncy

Meanwhile, the worst glitch in Reach is on Reach on MCC. Possibly even only on PC. You literally cannot, no matter how many times you attempt it, on any difficulty, no matter how many skulls, campaign scoring on or off, get the "They've Always Been Faster" achievement. It's bugged and pisses me off because it's not hard, I did it on Reach on 360, I've done it 20+ times on PC, it still doesn't work. I've got most of the other achievements on Reach for PC, but that is one I don't have and cannot get. So looks like I'll be getting 99% of its achievements...

Outside the map New Alexandria when you get to the area where you ride the falcon, there's an achievement over there, so the devs intended for you to go there.

i only have the original halo reach for the xbox 360 and not the other kinds because its all i have for consoles. there is a way to get out to a little area in the spire forge map by spawning a teleporter out of the shield. just get as close as you can to it and spawn a receiver or two way. its a small area crested near the river but you can get pretty close to the pelican.

The frozen plasma scene reminded me of Halo 3 when Spark was showing Chief the map of the galaxy "That's, our galaxy. We're beyond the rim"

The newest console I own is an Xbox 360, and Reach is my 2nd favorite game (Fallout 3 is number 1) as soon as I saw the plasma repeater, I did it, and it worked. You just gave me more reasons to play Reach.

For the Hunter head-bobbing, it works even when no one is dead. If you play Beachhead, and go into the door rooms, and you walk out, if you are playing hunters, they will head Bob. It happened while I was filming one of my Machinimas and i called it the "Hubter Dance Party"

Here's a quick tutorial on how to do the glitch at 7:06 There's two ways of doing it, and I'm going to tell how to do the simpler way, as this is the one I've tested a bit and know how to get it working. Run through Winter Contingency until you get just before the part where you would hop onto the truck with Carter and Jorge, the stop where something like 4/5 elites spawn. If you run along the right side of the level on the other side of the guardrails you can easily get past them on Legendary without dying. Here's the thing, however, DO NOT jump off the little ledge to where the truck is, until... So, before I continue here's a quick side note. The way this works is that if you jump off the ledge when the Falcon is at the furthest point, it despawns Jun and allows you to EMP the falcon. It seems that every person has their own perfect timing that gets it rather consistently. But regardless here's what works for me. Right before you jump off the ledge look up and look at the falcon, it should be flying from a position to the left and to the right. You want to jump over the ledge as it's in the left position. For me, the best timing that works is waiting for it to have centered on the right position, and sprinting over the ledge. You will know if this works because the arrow that normally shows where Jun is will have disappeared. If this doesn't work, revert to the last checkpoint, or if it is too soon then restart the level. If that works then great job! Get in the truck (with or without Jorge and Carter, it really doesn't matter), and drive down a bit to where the two skirmishers spawn. Kill the one with the energy pistol and take it (or take one from earlier in the level) and drive to the first complex at the beginning of the circle where the building should flash telling you to investigate it. As you come up to it there should a hill on the left with the falcon flying over it. It may take some time, but you are able to climb up the hill, and using the plasma pistol shoot the falcon. REMEMBER if the arrow is still on the falcon this will not work. Now that it is EMP'd you have to knock it over. You can not forcefully eject the marine driving it, so shoot it with the plasma pistol until the falcon is knocked over and it becomes drivable. Then at that point congratulation! You now are able to fly the falcon in Winter Contingency.

Had that glitch with the warthog first person in a revenant in one game, couldn’t shoot from the revenant cannon or boost, those both shot and zoomed in

Glad I’m not the only one who discovered the giant forge able area on Ridgeline. I discovered that area...way back in 2011, holy shit. Built an entire map back there that can still be downloaded to this day from my current file share on MCC.

I found a secret empty room with four of the heavy doors (but all shut) on Exodus, in the brute encounter after getting the jetpack. All i know is I scoped in and I warped through (or between) the door geometry.

Once I was in Breakneck heavies 8v8 in mcc recently and I was in the rocket warthog turret, but when I tried to get out I couldn’t, and it showed that I was holding my DMR when I was still in the turret. I could shoot the DMR and scope in but when I reloaded, it reloaded like the rocket warthog turret and my ammo didn’t go down

The worst glitch in Reach: Pvp when flying a falcon with at least one gunner on board. If the opposing team shoots down the falcon with the Spartan laser, the falcon pilot is given a betrayal kill for the teammate gunner. I got booted so many times for that $hit I learned to just bail out the moment I saw the targeting laser powering up.

No idea if anyone else saw this glitch but in Halo Reach I was fucking around in forge and when I jumped off the spire and hit hologram right when I hit the ground, the spartan that would come out would have a random armor effect like blue flame or red flame. Never really told anyone but it was cool.

Im lucky enough to have a un-updated Xbox 360 so I still get to experience all of the original glitches

Please don't comment on this comment but in the mission winter contingency where cat and Emile get in the falcon. After killing the three elites if you have two plasma gnaids and stick the falcon it will explode get back cos it's an instant kill but npc Spartans can't die then go down to get that truck you drive it back up to the falcon incident you can have emile ride and cat will disapere but emile wont and later near the end emile will be x2 and he will fight in the car.

On the 3rd mission bravo point when you on warhog you going to go in sword base go back to bravo but it teleport you back but when you ran to the little rock by the giant rock you jump the warhog and teleport you back and the warhog turret on the back will get off the warhog(have to happen in co-op)and the turret will still work on the ground

You can do the 4 player co-op glitch by having 4 controllers connected, and everyone hit the start button on the final "boop" on the starting count down in campaign.

I was in a game of slayer in Halo Reach the other day and I used a hologram and it came out completely randomized. Even the colors were randomized. The hologram glitch is definitely still there in some form or another.

One time while playing winter contingency? A falcon pilot straight up died and I used his falcon to fly around but then it wouldn't let me leave it

I glitched under the tunnel in forge world, I don't remember how, but I did something with one way barriers.

In forge world if you get a grid and push the other player into the wall...instant overview of the leftover pieces to forge world for 10 seconds

The 2nd glitch where you get out and back in a vehicle and are standing in it. I had that but in a wraith and i've never felt more usless. You cant fire the wraith moters

You can actually make the grids just starts turning like a tire and bounce around by placing it like a volley ball net and having the trunk snap on 90 degrees and turning it like a tire and it will go ballistic

I had a weird multi-player glitch happen back in the 360 days, a connection went bad somewhere and a section of the map basically went off like a plasma nuclear explosion, I may still have the clip on my original Xbox 360 but it would be unlikely, it was awesome when it happened.

The armor lock glitch still exist in Halo Reach MCCE
