The fact there are just so many hidden things really shows how much they expected us to break out of the map.

Tip of the spire was the first level I escaped the map in. I remember always doing it. Then on Long Night Of Sollace you could break the world and fly a Seraph.

One of my favourite missions to get out of bounds in is Cairo Station in Halo 2. You can easily get on top of the ship when you get to the section outside the ship where you encounter the jet packing elites. I loved seeing how far I could travel over the top of the ship, seeing all the intricacies and details you went supposed to see and the music paired with the open skybox and no enemies just felt so mesmerising. Comparatively I tried walking over the top of the Corvette in halo reach on long night of solace and was pretty disappointed they'd added a soft kill boundary if you walk to far out.

The second one you mentioned an easier way to do that is if you spam the grenade buttom right before it kicks you outnof the pelican it will cancel it and you will stay in the pelican and it crashes near the hidden marine

nothing quite like taking a "Vacation" in a Halo game, eh? Like breaking the hell out of Delta Halo and Regret and skipping the majority of both levels

Nobody really mentioned getting out of the map during The Storm on halo 3. That one is a total classic! It’s during the scarab part and you can just go explore instead of fighting. It’s cool!

You said AotCR is the "only time" in the series where you can flip a pelican, however you can also do this in H2 on Metropolis (although the text says press x to flip banshee) by jumping into it in the city centre and it takes you to a random area and the pelican just continuously flips.

I found something hidden in the level "the library" in CE. In one of the corridors, you can go towards an inside wall. You will go through the wall and be inside the map. You will see everything you go through in the level.

The random marine you found in the second clip is actually common in games. It’s a place holder for later in the level that just waits for a trigger that sends the selected npc into a scene.

On 343 guilty spark you can stay in the pelican if you throw a grenade and then you can see were the pelican lands

That "psychedelic effect" is a result of the backbuffer not being cleared each frame. You don't need to clear it if you're using a skybox. If you break out of bounds, then you will see past the skybox, and as a result, see the frames blending together at the current frame rate.

Great video man! My favourite out of bounds experience involves a tank, some energy shields, and a whoooole lot of tomfoolery! On the level Delta Halo -- from Halo 2 -- there comes a section whereby you must dismount your tank. Right before this section, some weapons pods are dropped right next to a bunch of energy shields. If you remain in the tank, fire the cannon at the shields, and park on top of them, when they respawn...well, it's kind of like ballet, but with many tonnes of tungsten. A tad inconsistent, but when they do respawn your vehicle is likely to catapult and flip in random hilarious ways - occasionally flipping you out of bounds. If the shields don't trigger immediately, fire the cannon or move the tank manually. Or if you're playing cooperatively, punch the tank. If you have time to try it, I promise you won't regret it! Keep up the good work :-)

That first one you don’t need to do on co-op. I’ve done it many times solo. You can also do it on 343 guilty spark.

5:00 if you try to climb to the very top of ending building from behind using the sputnik skull, there will be a secret rex easter egg that covers the whole floor if you can grenade jump high enough to see the whole thing.

I remember spending hours with my friends looking up glitches on reach and doing them and just messing around, that new alexandria glitch u showed brought back some good memories 😭

@7:18 i remember back in the halo 2 days playing couch coop with my buddy from work and the interesting part was when we did it, the "psychedelic void" actually showed player 2s screen instead of a void. that was trippy.

You forgot tthe out of bounds Pelican ride in Metropolis on Halo 2 with the pelican you can flip, if you jump at the pelican that drops reinforcements right after you kill the three wraiths, you can jumpup and use to ride the pelican, and it flys for aa second with a lot of chrashong, then you get ejected aand can flip it

For 343 Guilty Spark, you can actually stay in the pelican if you’re throwing grenades when it tries to bump you out at the start.

Great video bro, love all classic halos. In Halo 4 there was a good out of the map on Forerunner at the first light bridge to skip decent sections and loading points of game. You hit all the classics!

My favorite was in Halo reach when u get a plasma pistol and charge it up to try and shoot a seraph down from the sky. Then wait until the pelican come down near a rock, jump on it, use armor lock and jump on a mountain making the seraph visible. Go to it then drive it

I haven't seen you guys cover The Ark very much on Halo 3. Getting out of the area where the scarab is is pretty fun. You can get to the top of that building and cause weird glitches there. Also, doing the dead scarab glitch is fun there as well.

I love how the song "Who Do You Voodoo?" from Dead Island is playing in the background. Doesn't have anything to do with Halo at all, but it somehow fits the video very well.

You can flip a pelican on Halo 2 Metropolis

halo reach tip of the spear: when inside the spire shield, grab a plasma pistol and hijack a banshee, then perform a dodge on the cliff face which if done right can kick you to the outside of the map. it's a huge area to explore and I have great memories of doing it with my friends when I was younger

Hands down Halo 3 had some of the best out of bounds glitches with so much of the game being solid ground and next to no invisible walls and death barriers leading to loads of insane glitches like loading previous sections of map with random npcs and even despawning every npc in the next load zones

I can't wait for the Out of Map Secrets for Multiplayer. Personal fave is super bounce to the roof in Zanzabar (especially during Team Sniper matches) and start picking off other players like crazy.

So I'm writing this as I'm watching this. Halo 2 came out when I was in 9th grade. I spent the entire summer after it came out playing nothing but halo 2. I was a part of a huge glitching clan who submitted to Froggy's website, he was a huge glitcher. Some glitches I can remember: Rocket lunge Sniper lunge BR lunge- all 3 use a sword and the corresponding weapon and basically use the range of the weapon to increase the range of the sword so you use the lunge mechanic of the sword and can travel across an entire map by zooming in on like the sniper and once the reticle was red you'd quickly shoot and swap to the sword and if done correctly it would lunge the entire distance instead of shooting the weapon or sometimes both. Sword butterfly cancel - another sword lunge exploit, one player jumps on top of the other. The bottom player has the sword out and uses the sword cancel exploit where you rapidly tap between X and B to lunge then immediatly cancel the lunge. The top player keeps jumping and the bottom player keeps lunging closer and acts as a surface for the top player to keep jumping off of. We used this to reach extremely high locations on maps. In the mission when you fight Tartarus or as we affectionately called him, Tartar Sauce, you can maneuver vehicles into the final building after the scarab blasts the door open. Once inside, you can clone Johnson. There are glass straps of the floor and along the walls they angle upward. You can have him hop inside then kick him out of the seat if you back the vehicle towards the glass and he'll pop inside it and then you get in the vehicle and he hops back in but there's still a copy of him inside the glass. A method I remember to get thru invisible walls was to use a ghost and find a spot to wedge yourself against it on the left side because your character gets off on that side and the animation will force you thru the wall. Another is super jumps, there were specific locations on maps you could do them, they probably the most popular glitch that I'm sure everyone knows how to do that played it. We used to go into team matches and super jump up to the top of Lockout and just snipe like crazy. Or on oddball, we'd grab the skull and super jump out of the map and just hold it until we won and nobody could get to us

In the first section you mentioned I did that with a friend and if you reach the bottom the Pelican is not drivable but there are a couple of grunts and plasma pistols so it's pretty neat

My favorite is the awkward looking cut out of the dude holding a bucket of chicken in Halo 3, I think on the same mission you find Sgt. Johnson, or at least one of the later missions

You can get out of the map using a banshee on the mission Requiem (h4) and get out where you can float over the entire map with weird physics, and on forerunner where you can see some cool texture cubes

For the 343 guilty spark one you can just hold the grenade button and you will stay inside the pelican instead of trying to jump on top.

In sacred icon at the part where you take down the shield and you ride the gondola across this trench there is a phantom. If you have Sputnik on and have a really well placed grenade jump, you can get on top of it and it will take you to the top of the map where there is a huge area to explore.

My favourite was always escaping The Covenant in Halo 3. Getting a ghost and boosting off the destroyed shade turret instead of entering the Forerunner facility that you activate the switch in. You boost off the turret base onto the Forerunner spire and go all the way up, stack two ghosts on top of each other then jump up to the next platform, allowing you to walk outside of the map, viewing every part of it from the cliff sides

Missed my favorite one, take the Warthog on The Ark and you have to perfectly time ramping it off into the scarab near the end of the level, if timed correctly you will be thrown out of the map with a warthog and you can explore. You want to jump the warthog into the scarab leg right as it steps to rocket you out of the map. You use the platform in the middle that has the brutes and the grav lifts in it. ramp off of that onto the scarab leg.

2:05 back in the day unless they have changed it all you have to do is throw a grenade immediately when you can and you wont get out of the pelican, and it will fly and crash and you can get out and go around places.

You can man the mac cannons in Composer (H4) if you get out of the map where you were, you can jump a few phantoms and land on the mac cannon. This is the only way to man the mac cannon in h4, which makes it that much cooler.

On Halo Reach, the mission Winter Contigiency, after you get the two orange and blue vehicles, kill a skirmisher to get a plasma pistol, then drive to the building that has a falcon hovering over a hill nearby, then charge up and shoot at the falcon, this will bring it down and you will have to sprint and jump to get up on the hill, and if the falcon gets back up then shoot it again. After you down it, flip it over and fly it, (If you have a friend he can ride along, but only your friend will be able to dismount the vehicle). If you want to fly out of the map, go to the area in which you last save the marines, and gentley place your falcon in between the two wings of an incoming spirit

Couple really big things that you missed on sections you did cover... Halo 3 is what I know most about, so here we go... Sierra 117 out of bounds can also be reached through a similar phantom out of bounds as Crows Nest, though it does require two people. And the Crows Nest phantom out of bounds, if you do it correctly, the phantom will fall and you can flip the phantom, causing you to get launched with some downright hilarious physics. I'd really recommend spending the time on the latter of the two if you haven't seen it before. Also, I'm surprised that there was no mention of the "recon doors" from The Storm.

You can flip a Pelican in Halo 2's 3rd mission. After clearing the Wraiths, Jackals and Ghosts, a Pelican comes in to drop off more Marines. You are able to get underneath and jump into the troop bay by holding your enter vehicle button and ride your way out of the city. It will crash in a motion sickening fashion and everyone is ejected.

In halo reach you can fly the seraph. Long night of solace before you get in the sabre, jump down and go outside. Grenade jump onto the pelican and armor lock when it takes off. Then try to land on the side of the little island and side into the fake water Then climb up the hill and try to time a good plasma shot at the seraphs. Even if you hit one, keep trying, they could fall of the map. Then track it down. You'll notice the model has shrunk down to the size of a matchbox car lol. Now the truck here is the door to get in the seraph is underneath it. So nade it or flip it on top of you and hold x till you see " hold x to enter banshee" which is actually what it says. It flies pretty good. Very fun. Just very hard to see

In REACH when youre flying the ship around the city theres that one building you can fly your ship into and hit a button and it turns into a Pelican. After you do that, you can fly out into the skybox and just keep going for basically ever. That was always a neat one because you could just keep going forever. After a while it gets kinda boring and I ended up quitting but it was a neat none the less.

Halo 1 Assault on the control room. It's not out-of-bounds but when you first get on one of the really big bridges that span the really big chasm the marines are fighting in. There is a way to drop the turret the grunt is in off the side and get in it at the right time to skip a big part of the level.

In halo 2 on the mission Delta Halo once you get a scorpion or a ghost go back to the narrow passage right after the first area and you can drive up the cliff on either side and drive all the way around both lakes, if you drive far enough you can even get past the lake kill barriers and drive under water

About that first one on Assault on the Control room... Have one player kill themselves. There's usually a spot where the pelican gets close enough to a spinning ring that you can be respawned there. You'll have to jump occasionally to survive as the ring will spin independently of you and you'll fall in the gap when it passes. You can mess around down there a little, though there's no where really to go.

I swear, I felt like I was the first person to find that Delta Halo out of bounds glitch. But I guess there were way more spots to get out than I thought. Man, fun times...

that pelican one, back when halo ce was first out. We died every time. we never got to do the pelican flip thing.

in halo 5 with the mission where you are in a elivator if you time your jump correctly you can glitch out of the map and see the giant mech and elivator and the place holders around it

Time travel glitch in halo 3 is prolly my fav. Next to tip of the spear in reach

Also on uprising you can get to the start of the last level and the door to the control room. It’s hard and tricky but I have done it. It’s hard because you can’t just jump down and get down there. You have to land on the pillars on the side of the valley

What about the spire mission from Reach where you can glitch out the big bubble and stand on the USNC infinity.

on delta halo it’s possible to get out of the map at the start of the level without grenade jumping, ghosts, or any kind of co-op jump tricks

I spent sooo much time exploring outside of Delta Halo. I can't wait for MMC to fully release on PC so I can introduce all of this to my non-console friends.

Halo 3 Tsavo Highway right at the end is a good one also

For the second one you showed, you don't have to get on top of the Pelican. You can just mash the grenade button during the cutscene. You should throw a grenade as soon as you're "in game" and it'll keep you from exiting the Pelican until it lands outside the map not far from the secret Marine.

Used to love doing this on xbc on halo 2 .

There’s actually another way to stay in pelican. When it’s getting ready to eject you. Spam the grenade button. And it will keep u in the pelican. There u can explore any map that delivers you in a pelican

You can get the the pelican on metropolis that drops of marines right before the scarab shows up and it ends up like the first pelican Easter egg

Ahh the "zen garden vacation" on Great Journey

I forget the name of the level in halo 2 so I'm going to try to explain it. it's the mission where you track down the Scarab and kill it. well right before the end of the level you'll come up to a building that has Marines pinned down from Wraiths. If you clear the Wraiths and wait a Pelican will drop some Marines off in front of the building. If you park a Warthog on the platform that the Marines get dropped off on and stand on top of you can jump up into the Pelican and board it. But there is a catch if you hop in on the left side you're stuck until you get outside of the map and the Pelican crashes and you can flip it around and play with the physics of it. if you hop into the right side of the Pelican you can exit the vehicle at any point as it's flying through the level. I've never been able to survive jumping out mid flight but there's these buildings that look promising I just suck at timing.

In Delta Halo, if you get out of the map, then get back in at the right spot, all the enemies will be gone, even the prophets in the hologram. You can then explore the entire level. But it will never end because it will only end when you kill the elites, and since they don’t spawn, you can’t kill them, hence the level is broke

2:00 you can also throw a grenade as soon as the cut scene ends, and you won't get out of the pelican.

Was the doll on Delta Halo added with MCC? I remember that being a big rumor for the original but i never found it.

In Halo 4 you can actually get to the space battle scene in composer and pilot the Mac cannon by jumping to the side in one of the tunnels

The one mission in Halo Reach was Exodus, not New Alexandria. But yeah, Exodus and Long Night of Solace are my two favorite places to explore out of the map on in the entire series.

7:54 In order for the gun to have unlimited ammo you need to kill him twice. Only the second version of Johnsons Spartan Laser has unlimited ammo because that is the one that would normally be used to kill Guilty Spark.

Actually, you can flip almost any vehicle not only including the pelican but the spirit too, this is due to vehicle are the only things with physics besides bipeds and what not, also they did this to make it easier for the mappers to place them. You were never able to pilot them since ‘99

You can get in the pelican in metropolis halo 2 as well. You can ride it until it crashes but I think it says flip banshee instead of pelican

You forgot a halo reach one that in the tip of the spear, in the final section, it you grab one of the banshees that are flying and go to specific point of the barrier with the banshee you can pass through the barrier and explore freely with the banshee, I actually did this with my friend and he was just like WOW WTF DUDE

On the ark halo 3 where you fight the scarab you have to trigger the scarab first then you take a chopper back up the right side hugging the wall and you can explore that entire map.

In halo reach you can propel yourself with a gravity hammer while using the jetpack if you "shoot" toward your feet while activating the jetpack I apologize for my grammal mistakes english is not my first lenguaje and i be happy if you correct me

You can get the infinite ammo Spartan laser if Johnson's first laser is knocked off the map (i.e the laser Johnson spawns with). Once he revives himself, he'll have the infinite laser

Cant believe nobody has mentioned the crouch jump out of the pillar of autumn escape pod in combat evolved

You know the place in Halo 2 on Regret where you fight the hunters before the gondola ride? You can skip the room before it by jumping on the pillars on that bridge part before it and looping around the top part of the building. You can skip the room with a well placed jump (not grenade jump). There's also a random 100% beam rifle to the left side! And if you do it, you won't skip a checkpoint or loading point or anything. Just saying.

Reading the title I was hoping to see some old school epic “super bounces” from halo 2 multiplayer 🤷‍♂️ oh well still a great video though I miss those days
