beautiful video tutorial. I also mounted the saddle following your video and I wanted to ask you, the part that is under the saddle that protects the electrical wiring is deforming over time, is this normal or have I made a mistake in the tightening cup of the bolt under the mudguard which does it keep the bracket resting on the frame?

Nice video! Here is the question that NOBODY answers. Does this spring saddle raise or lower the seat height from the original seat?

It lifts the back of the seat … that helps keep you in the seat at quick throttle , the 1200 XL has lots of pull . That’s just how it is.

I don’t like how the springs are just protruding out from under the seat. It gives it a sloppy look to it. Though the seat does look bad ass.
