Hats off to the author for breaking a handful of cliches in this one. Humanity achieving peace within itself has always been a far-fetched idea to me, so seeing an HFY author not go that route was a nice surprise.

I achieved a sort of middle ground like this author did. Humanity altogether exists in a unified galactic political body that fields its own greater military and regulates interactions between the next largest factions in the hierarchy, the solar systems. Each system then is a political union of each independent planet and miscellaneous colony. Each planet usually still has indivudual regional governments. For instance, in the Terran Galactic Confederacy, the United Earth is a member "state" of the Sol Union, and on its surface are individual "provinces" such as the Northern Panamerican State and Greater Britannic League.

But I have a question because I've been trying to figure out the name of this story, but Here is what I remember the main character of this Hfy is human he has Armor that allows him to replicate machinery. He ends up getting teleported to a world with cultivation.

@@phoenixbugg7199 the tau are a xenos race in warhammer 40k, aside from their highest most spiritual claste each t'au has basically no soul, or a soul so small that you'd need to eat entire planets of them to get full. This makes them fantastic at avoiding warp entities (warp being hell where demons and the four main "demonic" gods of 40k are and where FTL travel happens) and the watchful gaze of the greater demons of the four chaos gods.

Crichton: "You wanna see the wormhole weapon, Scorpi?" Scorpius: "Yes!" Crichton: "Say please." Scorpius: "Please." Crichton: "Say pretty please with a -" (both) "Cherry on top." Crichton uses the wormhole weapon. Scorpius, watching the wormhole weapon do its job, disgusted and in absolute terror: "No one should have this weapon. No one should ever use this weapon."

My assumption is there is a cut off point or threshold for what is considered dangerous AND habitable. Like there is different classifications for *Habitable High Gravity World* , and *Uninhabitable High Gravity World* . Because even the absolute maximum gravity for a *Habitable High Gravity World* would still be significantly less than just the average high gravity cosmic body in the universe.

@@demonlordotrt754 Yeah... If it's just a ball of stable, molten rock... Well, to a space-faring civilization it's likely a stable source of energy and metals. Takes specialized tech to take advantage of, and you can't settle it in the same way you would some other stuff, but... You could, for example, harvest its own metals to build a dyson sphere around it, then use its leftover heat as a massive geothermal reactor to power the sphere.

There should be a sequel where an alien hears of humans and tries to tap one's soul for energy despite the warnings. It'd be interesting to see how humanity's collective soul reacts to a spiritual mosquito. Maybe from the alien's perspective it'd be like encountering Cthulhu itself, and the story would be told by a being already driven to madness... before vaporizing or mutating into a cosmic horror.

Hmm. It would probably be akin to tapping a mam reactor while it's running by hammering in a beer tap into the containment casing. I can't be sure what will happen exactly, but I can safely say it'll have a nice big boom. Now imagine all that energy being directed with a collective malevolence towards the poor fool. Enough energy in one place creates a singularity. Wouldn't surprise if who ever tries suddenly collapses into a micro black hole.

I've always been big on the unification trope, specifically refuting it. I kinda want to write one where it starts out showing how all the world united in harmony under a central government, banned private companies, stopped wvery kind of -ism, etc. And then we meet aliens who are shocked at our behavior and call us closed-minded fascists who have destroyed all the world's cultures and subjugated the world's populace.

What is the reverse of foreshadowing called? You know, when the story ends in the opposite foretelling of a future. They will find out when some species does something ugly enough to unleash Wrath (the strongest human emotion in my humble opinion).

I always like the ones that have gods in them, there’s so much more believable than the ones where a human is going on about us descending from a monkey. I’m sure a bunch of people are going to disagree with me on that one. Well thats not really what i was expecting for ghost world but eh i could already imagine alot of those spirits heard hey something that isnt humans but can think like us has been found and alot of those spirits must of been knights en etc looking to judge if the "newbies" are worthy of anything since well most warriors became that for a good fight but yeah spirit stuff i can barely imagine what could happen i wonder if you can make a pact with one here in all honestly though i was expecting ghost world to be we nuked out selves to death along with the world and all thats left is shadows of humans and the place is so empty no one wants to even enter the system because of it
