My gosh I just adore highlighters...Becca Pearl is my all time favorite highlighter! It gives my pale skin such an angelic glow! And I recently picked up Becca Rose Quartz (limited edition), and it's gorgeous on pale skin too!! Now I either use Pearl or Rose Quartz because they are both so gorgeous :)

My favorite is the ABH MoonChild pallet, it's desgined for the palest of complexions. Even the weird colours like Luck Clover that's like a green tint looks fantastic $40 for 6 shades each pan is a decent size so really you get a huge bang for you buck. My other favorite is Pearl by Becca and that one cost me $46 really the ABH pallet is the better deal.

+Tammy St. Jean I've definitely had my eye on that MoonChild palette for a while, but since grabbing the MUG ones (the other two I have that I didn't show are both duo chrome colours like the ABH palette), I'm not sure I need the ABH one haha will see ;-)

Arna Alayne You never need any makeup items if you already have one of the items in each category. It's all about want at that point I don't need the new Kat Von D highlighter pallet since it looks a lot like the ABH MoonChild but I'm getting it anyway when it comes out in Canada.

I love Becca Pearl highlighter. I have it in the cream version and it is absolutely stunning! I also like to use mac's Nylon eyeshadow as a highlighter, it is a warm toned white but still looks good on cool toned skin.

My favorite highliter is the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact in 01, it' a not matte though! It's so beautiful and gives a soft incandescent glow from within but it can also look wet if you build it up. It doesn't have any glitter its just sheen and it doesn't emphasize texture and pores.

The Essence eyeshadow in snowflake (I think) is super white and looks good on my yellow toned skin. And Makeup Revolution has one called Golden lights that is a super pale gold and I love it too.

I bought lightscapade a while ago but I didn't really like it, I didn't think it was strong enough so I used Mary-louminizer a lot but I've rediscovered lightscapade recently and absolutely love it ! It's so pretty and also moonstone is 😍 I really want that makeup geek glitz 😍😍 and that donut glaze look is such a cute saying ! Great video :)

I don't wear a ton of highlighter, but one I recently found is kind of a hidden surprise that not many people know about. It's a cream highlight (intended for the browbone) in the NYC Individualeyes palette in Pink Nudes. It's essentially just a white, frosty sheen that looks really pretty! :) Basically like Becca Pearl but a cream.

I love the Becca cream highlight in pearl, I actually tried the Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadow in Too cool before purchasing the spendy Becca one. I use a very little amount. I've been thinking about the Hourglass etheral light powder as another pale skinned youtuber did a beautiful look with that one. I love the dewy radiant lit from within looks.

Lightscapade is my ride or die for day to day. My compact has a lot of blue marbling in it, so it's just amazing. For really funky makeup looks, I wear a highlighter called "Osteomancy" from a US indie company called Notoriously Morbid. It's iridescent pearly duochrome goodness. I have the KVD Alchemist palette coming in the mail and I'm just way way too excited about it, heheh!!

Okay 1. Your relationship is the sweetest!!! So jealous. And 2. How come you didn't include the Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion Highlighter in Golden Pink??? I can't stop using it - it's insanely pigmented, blends like a dream, and gives the most insane glow without looking too crazy, and it is still subtle enough for office wear. I know, because I am not a highlighter girl honestly. If you haven't tried it yet, make sure you do!

I have MUG's Celestial - the duochrome with a blue/purple shift. It's entertaining to use, but it's not anything close to believable. It definitely throws an awesome glow for oily skin like mine - you absolutely cannot mistake Celestial for oiliness. This gives me a few ideas as to what I want to add to my kit, so thank you again for the thorough discussion of these products. Hello, Mr. Alayne!

Becca pearl in the liquid version is more natural than the powder and it is gorgeous! I love the hourglass ambient lighting powder too! I'm excited to try the essence shadows :)

Love this video. Thanks for making it. The Laura Mercier looks so pretty on you a drink now I want to try it. My favorite highlighters are the ABH moonchild palette, looxi beauty stripped, mac extra dimension skinfinish in show gold and has a peach with pink/gold shift (i use as a blush topper and highlighter even though it is too dark for my skin), the balm Cindy luminizer (blush topper, but so pretty as a sheer peachy pink highlight), hourglass ethereal light (use every time I put on makeup and to set my under eyes), and hourglass incandescent strobe light. The new Makeup Forever Pro Fusion highlighter in 01 (pink gold) is very pretty and just started using it (like looxi beauty stripped and ABH pink heart in the moon child palette, but more subtle and less micro glittery). If I had to choose one, it would be the ABH moonchild palette. Love it so much.

lightscapade was my staple forever too haha. I'm currently obsessed with the abh moon child palette. I've only had it two months and ive already hit pan on one shade and almost hit pan on another. love it so much. If I'm dojng a really dramatic look I've used diamond eyes eyeshadow from sugarpill as a highlight and another long time fav was that lace highlight fro, burberry. I thjnk it was the most expensive makeup product of my life but its gorgeousssss.

Another fab video in the series. I need to get the MG highlighters, not managed to get them yet. 2 highlighters I love are mua undress your skin highlighter in pink shimmer. Also the soap & glory glow all out highlight cheek stick in ice shimmer. I use my finger to dab it on and it's beautiful. I do tend to like the more pinky/pearly highlighters. You should do an updated makeup collection now you've decluttered. I done a declutter recently and it felt so good after 😄 x

Ethereal Light by Hourglass is seriously my favorite "highlighter" I use that term VERY loosely as I mostly use Ethereal Light as an all over setting powder for that slight glowing from within type look. It's an absolutely beautiful product! If you haven't checked that out it's definitely worth having a look at!

The CoverFX custom enhancer drops in Celestial is a gorgeous product for pale skin and although pricy a little goes a very long way. It's a metallic neutral pink-silver sheen with zero glitter, and it reflects light in the most incredible way. It's my holy grail liquid highlighter.

my favourite highlight is the essence eyeshadow in 19 the grammy goes glammy & the BYS highlighting trio - i use the gold colour for on top of the essence eyeshadow, & i use the rose gold in the highlighting trio as an eyeshadow & then there's a matte banana powder that i don't use at all unless i have a bit of a tan & i can get away with it under my eyes

Colour pop flexitarian is the perfect color for my skin tone. I want to try some of their other highlights. MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Light Fusion Highlighter in 1 if my new favorite. I think I'm the only person who doesn't like Becca highlighters. I think they are powdery and chunky. The pearl shade looks silver on my skin, like if I put it all over I'd look like a robot. I use it to mix with highlighters that are too dark for me. The bobbi brown highlight in pink glow is the most highlighty highlighter I own. It gives the wet shiny look without emphasizing pores.

Thank you for the amazing suggestions! Those MUG highlighters are so stunning. Have you tried Stila's Kitten? It seems to be a cult favorite, and it is beautiful, but I wonder how it would look on very fair skin. I'm also neutral-cool.

Thanks for your very useful swatches! I prefer delicate highlighters - such as Shiseido WT905. It's very-very soft. It is for my everyday makeup. If I want something brighter (not for using during my work day at the office) - I chose Lumene instant illuminizer in Shimmering dusk. It is liquid highlighter from their new collection. Absolutely luminous white substance without visible shimmer at all, but with inner glowing. But you can shade it into almost zero. Do you have Lumene in Australia?.. If yes, I recommend to try it.

Lumene is Finnish brand, quiet popular in Russia. Australia might be too far for spread (is it correct word?). If you had it there you would definitly be familiar with it. Never mind)) I've tried MAC just yesterday!) Under incandescent lamps it seemed too sparkling for some reason..)

I stupidly bought Champagne Pop when the hype was crazy, I pretty much can't use most of the year. I luckily can get a tiny bit of use out of it now, because I actually got a tan but I wish I could use it more.

love pearl and Mary lou. The pearl liquid is great too. the ABH moonchild palette is really beautiful. The mac and laura m just went on my list. Glitz also looks beautiful. .I really don't need any more highlighters though 😆😆

Makeup Revolution has amazing super light highlighters, I have radiance and golden lights and they both look great. However i would stay away from the essence pure nude highlighter if your pale, after my tan faded it looked orange on me.

try the Essence eyeshadow in Snowflake! :) it's beautiful as a highlight on pale skin. also, I tried Mary Lou-manizer and it's too glittery and dark on me, and I thought I was not as pale as you :( maybe I just got a dud?

You have a lot of pinkness on your chest, you would look a lot better if you wore a little more blush on your face to balance it out or went for a more pink undertone foundation because in this video your face looks like a mask compared to your chest. No hate, just my opinion 💕 love the video

This video was filmed quite a while ago when I use to use quite a harsh light that would make my face appear much much lighter than my chest etc! In real life, it matches :) xx
