Kinda the same for me. I'm not much for vocals myself, but I LOVE the guitars, bass, and drums. I even dabbled with some sound software that would strip the vocals from songs, but so many of them are tough to strip without taking some of the instrument with it. Orion is my all-time favorite, but there are some other very good ones out there! Good luck!

Nita Strauss- Pandemonium, Mariana Trench and Our Most Desperate Hour. These are all instrumental songs that are just amazing and what even more cool is she use to play with the Iron Maidens (all female group of Iron Maiden) and is now been playing with Alice Cooper for several years.

I can't believe no one mentioned Savatage - Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24), which at this point "everyone knows", so immediately came to mind. But if you want to listen to something actually different from pretty much everything else people are going to suggest, "Agalloch - The Hawthorne Passage" is a good one. You should definitely check out Agalloch with vocals too. PS: a couple more, "Coroner - Arc-lite" and "Coroner - Nosferatu", a very technical thrash band.

Passage to the reaper is pretty cool. It was done by Alexi Laiho and Roope Latvala of Children of Bodom. Also their keyboardist has a side project that did mostly instrumentals. They’re all really good, but the one that has sentimental value to me is Salieri Strikes Back. My daughter loved that when she was a baby.

There's also his Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra, if you feel in that kind of mood. I could list others but finally, for the sheer insanity of it: Caprici di Diablo.

Never have I ever heard anything so beautiful during my 25 years of lifetime. Most importantly, it's a piano track - everybody should give some love to a piano track every now and then. :)
