In today's episode of Mysteries of History lets take a look at The Church of St. Francis of Assisi built in 1661 by the Portuguese in the Portuguese Viceroyalty of India. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, together with a convent, was established by eight Portuguese Franciscan friars who landed in Goa in 1517.

Tenho orgulho em ser goes, não há dúvida que todos os goeses têm orgulho destes bonitos Munumentos que os portugueses deixaram como um legado ao povo goes, todos os goeses merecem pela esta dádiva. Merecem porque souberam conservar todos estas arquetituras, e além disso fizeram vários trabalhos para a conservação dos mesmos. Parabéns a todos os goeses que estão contribuir para conservação destes monumentos. Viva a Goa dos goeses, conforme reza a história Goa é dos goeses e de mais de ninguém. Viva a Goa... Jan. this year '18, interior of this church was not as maintained, ASI is not able to do the job , even present condition interior looks beautiful, perhaps Europeans advice is brought to complete same
