I honestly love Toji. He’s not even OP like others. He’s just incredibly skilled in combat and very intelligent. Even death can’t make him fall.

Toji did care for megumi in some way. Megumi’s mom, aka mamaguro(the one in the flashback holding baby megumi) calmed Toji down from being the asshole he was. her death was one of the reasons that Toji ended up the way he did. the way i see it, Toji knew he wouldn’t do a great job at raising Megumi and that’s why he opted to sell megumi to the Zen’in clan even if the environment would be harsh. when he was dying tho, he realised that Gojo would be better at raising Megumi than the Zen’in clan. he then basically gave Megumi a better chance at a decent life by essentially giving him to Gojo

I actually really like Toji, I feel like he represents the hardships put on him and how he overcame them. It shows the path he chose in life

Toji's death was very pre mature. He could have been such an amazing character, perhaps anti hero of Jujutsu Kaisen. Very missed opportunity to develop him to a different level as he deserved.

You know, as an anime only, hearing all the Toji hype, dude just kinda got got. Like I hope he was cooler in the Manga. Dude got DESTROYED so quickly. I was expecting a LOT more with everyone swooning over the man so much.

This episode is not about hollow purple but Gojo forming his personality that will last him till Culling Games where he finally gets killed by Sukuna. For me, this is the best episode of Gojo as this is the only time he evolves. The sadness, the ennui, him quoting Buddha, it's all a part of his growing pain.
