This the best exhaust I've heard on any Mustang and I highly recommend it! Be sure to wear headphones, this video was recorded with high-quality audio!
Just a heads up for everyone, the 20 inch power sticks doesn't fit on the stock catback according to a shop I went to, I think it fits on an aftermarket catback though
Hey man i wanted to thank you for the great video👍I liked the sound of mufflers so much I ordered and got them on my car a couple weeks ago. I had an offroad x and Flowmaster 40s on my 04 Mach 1 and after putting these on my car is a different beast!
Sounds really nice dude, one of the best sounding new edges I have heard! I have SLP’s on my 05 GT, but I prefer how yours sounds. I may change it up now!
Great video I live in U.K. and there is currently an immaculate 38000 mile 04 GT manual for £8500 pity I had to buy my 350Z back from my daughter last week or I would be getting it as I love V8s , keep the content coming 😎
Love the Paint. I Own the 2002. I'm having a Straight pipe with Flow Master Tips put on. Right now I have the X Pipe Performance Exhaust with a Flow Master. In the Long Run, I'm putting in my own - Side Pipes
Sounds super good! I always was curious to see how the power stick sounded, I was gonna put them on my old 99 F150 back in the day, but never ended up. Getting them always was curious how they sound because the length of a is so long, definitely gonna buy them for my 2000 Mustang GT
Very nice man! Sounds like you're driving a dragon. My 2010 GT is bone stock, but I've been thinking about getting a Borla Atak catbacks probably. Or a Flowmaster. Sucks that the real leaders of the world (not the President) are trying to do away with gasoline cars. And not long ago, they were pushing to ban modifying cars. Not sure what happened with that, but both are completely wrong to limit us. Anyway, the stang looks and sounds great man. Next weekend I'll make a primitive walk around of my stock Stang. I think the 90 day suspension from youtube on my account should have been lifted by then.
Yeah man the future of cars and their enthusiast worries me. I'm gonna hold on to mine as long as possible. Look forward to seeing a video of your car!
I would definitely go with the Borla Atak if u want to go for a louder scream and a more aggressive sound, the flow master is good but when your in high rpm’s it doesn’t sound too good my cousin had it on his cobra and when he changed to borla he was very happy with the results
I can tell there is significantly less drone by the echo of the exhaust outside the car during acceleration. How is it with the windows up? I want to get an exhaust thats fairly loud on the outside but not a lot of drone on the inside. If the drones not bad for this set up you could always throw down some sound deadening material to clean any small amount up!
@@javierzendejas8803 I got em off of eBay here's the link, www.ebay.com/itm/For-1999-2004-Ford-Mustang-Sequential-LED-Tail-Lights-Brake-Lamp-Black-/303799225099?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
so question the pipes are 20 inch correct what mufflers are you running and what would be best for it because i have a 02 gt and i love this sound so basicallly im asking for a video of you showing it all in detail for this set up bc i really want this on my mustang
Sounds awesome. Got a 02 GT in mineral gray. Gunna go with an off-road x and start out with SLP loudmouths. If I don't like them, I'll go with these, but I LOVE stupid loud cars as long as they still have some tone.
Btw some ideas... how about gauges. Replace a Din at the dashboard with functional gauges...like AEM analog. And how would it sound the exhaust with a single muffler setup? Right in the middle working as an X pipe. And the its exit to each side.
Hey. Following your route. Thinking about going with your setup but have a question. What brand of ORX pipe did you get? I heard the OR H pipe may be better. Did you have to use a MIL delete? Any more videos of the exhaust? Love your setup. I think it sounds the best on the internet for 2V!
Hey thanks for watching! I have the x pipe and the power sticks still. My favorite of all time was the off road h pipe and the Flowmasters. I did use mil deletes but they have all failed after a few months so I just drive with the light on, it does not bother me.
@@carsandhobbies that’s what I heard from many with ORX pipe will eventually cause a CEL. How do you pass the state inspection with the light on? So you’re saying the set up in this video is not the best sounding exhaust? Flowmaster with h pipe, is it posted here? I will have to check it out. Have you swapped it out again 😅 for something else louder? 🤣
This has to be one of the best sounding 99-04 2V ever! What is the setup? I am a bit confused on what to order. Can you detail it please with links. I want your exact setup. I have a 03 Mustang with identical color!! What brand of ORX? And is that prochamber just a muffler??
Thanks, it's just an off road x pipe, you can choose whichever one you want. And Powersticks welded into the cat back. Part number 2524SB. www.classicchambered.com/classic/products.html
Imma try these. Have bbk shorty headers and slp high flow catted x pipe. Sounds awesome and different. My first 6 mustangs had flow master variations Thanks for the video !
My mom and I got matching 02 mustangs bought mine in 2019 not the best sound. She has a x pipe with I think a borla attack its not very loud. Mine I think I’m going to modify a bit. It has a magnaflow exhaust on it doesn’t sound to good but it’s not bad I’m going to cam it and shorty headers so it’ll pass emissions wonder if that will make it louder.
Been really debating on exhausts last few weeks I have a 07 4.6 gt stock was thinking about these or series 40 and outlaws and the coffins just can’t make up my mind I just don’t want something raspy please any feedback gladly appreciated
Sounds a lot like my 02 with SLP LM1 exhaust, from the inside. I don't know what mine sounds like from the outside though. I've never let anyone else drive it. 😂 I'm pretty sure it's ignorant-level loud though, judging by driving past embankments and overpasses.
I just got my 04 gt 2 months ago now and it's all stock and I was just wondering what exact stuff are you running on your exaust it's kinda hard to hear what you were saying because im at work rn but it sounds beautiful and sounds exactly what I'm looking for and I wanna figure out how much it's gonna throw me back if I do get that exaust set up lol
Yeah it seems like the prices keep rising, I'd say just show up with cash and hand and see if they'll take a lower price. I only paid $5200 for mine with 79k miles on it, no rust and everything works.
Been waiting on a video from u...it sounds beautiful..Since u have had so many exhausts do u have any o/r x or h pipes laying around that u would sell...I can’t find any they discontinued them all..
@@carsandhobbies not a bad idea...welding is pretty simple it s like hot gluing..lol ..They have cheap welders at harbor freight but u need a manderal bender also...
The longer they are, the better they sound. Use 2520's if longer ones won't fit. Shorter ones are not louder. I make em. BTW, C&H - sounds GREAT & great job on the video!!!
@@carsandhobbies Now we're talking. It could be. Right at the beginning of the driveshaft if you are going for 2 mufflers. Or right under the driveshaft if you are going for a single muffler y dual exits
I was just viewing your Borla Stinger from Nov 2020. I noticed you recently posted this. So you got rid of the Borla Stinger? This sounds much louder. What is it? This really sounds like Borla Atak... wow! Love the sound. Can you link to what it is , where to buy? thank you sir.
@@carsandhobbies I finally got around to install my Stinger. They’re deep toned ans throaty. I have a convertible so with the top down it’s quite loud. Not sure how you handle your current setup. Perhaps Fastback without the open top isn’t as loud. I like the Stinger. Also, the pinstripe, do you recommend getting it? I may get it wrapped instead. Cheaper as well.
@@jeremythevirushuang6303 nice! Yeah I enjoyed the stingers, with the windows up personally I did not find them that loud. Yeah the ones I have now are very loud but they really don't make much noise at cruising speed which I like.
Hey man I replied on Facebook but the link should work, I know that the website is not very good, I was able to email him and get the mufflers I think it's a one man operation, the part number is 2524sb
Would this setup be obnoxiously loud? Would it still produce a similar effect with an X pipe with cats? I’m currently interested in this type of sound but don’t want to be “annoying” to everyone.
@@arandomvenipede7604 yeah I think it's probably too obnoxious for that, it doesn't sound to bad from the driver seat but it's very loud from the outside
People may hate me for it but since I don’t need a race car I kinda want a vert. Think the drop top might save me some money due to being less desirable or no?
Borla xs pro with a single exhaust would sound sweet on a 2v! Try it out. Try to make it an equal length y pipe, joined right at the tail shaft at the transmission (closer to headers the better) I found an article a while back saying it does build a pinch more power as a single
@@carsandhobbies Australian v8 supercars have a single exhaust split back to dual. Emphasis on the single part. And then borla pro xs mufflers. Look up the channel supercars, they play old race highlights with the exhaust clip. Type in “Australian v8 supercars” and the channel will pop up
