Hi friends!
Today we are embarking on my ultimate bronzer ranking video. I compiled so many swatches, comparisons and time stamps to help you out at home. I know that there are so many new releases so hopefully breaking these down into different categories such as cream, powder, matte, luminous etc...will be helpful. Thank you! I very much enjoyed this one!!! I didn’t get the hype of the Gucci bronzer, didn’t enjoy that. I loved the Chanel oversized medium rose gold but had a reaction to the frangance. My favories are Dior 32 and Tom ford Terra.

Hi Alli - great video Thankyou 😊 FYI The Gucci bronzer in 01 is very close to TF Terra - I have both and love them for my fair cool toned skin (Chanel BR12). You can get the Gucci bronzer refills now too, so even better for our wallets 🙂

Was thinking of getting the new chanel one, but the Tom Ford looks very good. Surprisingly the best bronzervive ever used was one from Estee Lauder, bronze Goddess powder, not sure if they make it anymore, had one that came with a summer gift beach bag and beautiful yellow scarf. It's also more cool toned, but actually perfect.

Absolutely great video 💚! Thank You! I love Tom Ford Terra. But I reached a lot for Gucci bronzer. I have it in shade 1 and it’s pretty cool tone. It was probably my #1 till I got a new YSL. I kind of thought that I’m extra getting another bronzer and that I will not use it much and I use it every single day since I got it! Also love Westman Atelier contouring stick. I wonder what are your thoughts about Victoria Beckhem? I think they are pretty good, but somehow I reach for them more in winter. And agree with others - ranking would be great!

I’ve only tried the VB contour sticks, not her bronzing bricks yet. I like it but I have others that I love more but it would be good for travel because of its size. I’ll look into that Gucci bronzer because of love that shade form TF.

Yes, I meant bronzing bricks from VB! Her contour pen is good, but I got it in the lightest colour and it’s too light for me. And I honestly prefer Westman Atelier over it. I hope you will like Gucci in another shade!

Hi dear Allison, i just loved this video, this was so super helpful, and you look fabulous!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I'm done with too warm bronzers with my lighter complexion and cooler undertones, i did not purchase a lot, the last few years, and what i purchased, i gave away i think. I love to do that, and i also would love that these brands listen more to us, like Chanel, Hermes etc. Most used/loved here: Tom Ford Terra!!! Further: Westman Atelier Countour Sticks in biscuit and truffle, also love to mix them, further in the Nars Laguna 1, very good! And Glossier has these cute little tubes, Allison, have 3 shades, love them, and love to mix them as well! Chantecaille, the gel bronzer in the jar, love the formula, but the shade, i wear it more when it's really summer or end summer. I don't understand why these brands refuse to make more shades for us Allison. What i also like, is the Gucci powder bronzer in shade 1, but, a like. Further i really love the Jones Road in shade 2, the formula is nothing special, the shade is everything. I purchased this one after spending another 100 euro's for the stupid Hermes bronzer in shade 1, to orange. But the formula Hermes has, it's the best i ever tried! Also really love the VB powder bronzres, have shades 1 and 2, but hate these bricks, they always go open, packaing too heavy. Her cream contour stylo, it's not my thing, it's now between my cream eyeshadows for above my eyes, as easy crease shade. RMS Beach Walk Betty, so, so. Last week i finally ordered a bronzer again, the Yves Saint Laurent in shade 2, comes from France, not much here in The Netherlands from this one, but i expect it anytime. Chantecaille, i love a lot of their makeup, and especially their skincare, but their powder bronzers, for me not life changing when i do my makeup. Yes, when at Tom Ford/Estee Lauder they dare to stop the Terra powde bronzer, i come to America to stop them i think. No, joking, but i cannot miss that one. From Chanel, this latest combi palette, i said no. Well, in a sale, and i also saved euro's at ICI Paris here, so the bronzer was 40 euro's off. I choose the shade after your shade, palette 4. Did not try the highlighter and the blush yet, but the bronzer, really nice! I thought i use a synthetic brush, less impact, so i used the Chanel blush brush, fits into the bronzer stripe quite well, but i do not have to explain that to you. Nothing beats my Terra. But pleasantly surprised yesterday when doing my makeup! I wanted to use my Suqqu blush again, but will use the rest of the palette soon! Top 5 from you, yessssss would love to see, you explain so good, about the formula's as well!!!! I also would love to see that with blushes, there are sooooooo many blushes right now, Allison!!!! I've been interested in the TF Terra bronzer. It looks very similar in tone to the Westman Atelier bronzer. I'm glad to see both swatches next to each other. I already own the WA so now I don't feel like I need the TF one. I prefer cream bronzers anyway. Thanks for sharing your bronzer collection!

Great bronzer round up….Im not a huge bronzer lover i only own 4…..Dior Pink Bronze, Chanel Medium Rose Gold and Charlotte Tilbury in Medium and the contour wand in Light/Medium. Was very useful in the break down of categories especially the cool tones one…i may look at the Tom Ford one 💚.

Hi Al, I have the Gucci in 01, the TF terracotta and the YSL in 02. To my own surprise, I end up using the YSL the most, especially pairing with the Sisley blushes, and top up with the Hermes highlighter.

@@AllisonChase My favourite cool/neutral bronzers for my light/neutral skintone are: Tom Ford Terra, Gucci #1 (rose undertones) and #2 (a lot like Terra), Dior #4, Victoria Beckham #1 and #2, Hermès Sahara, Jones Road Dusty Rose, and some of the Hourglass bronzers.

Great video my favorite new bronzer have been the YSL because it’s Matte and the new Chanel Le Biege palettes have the light coral and the medium rose gold. Favorite bronzing drops are by far the Armani they’re stunning.shade 100

This is a great comparison video! I used to be a diehard Bobbi Brown bronzer in the shade medium, which is neutral with a reddish undertone, and it actually matches my skin when I am in the sun. But then I switched over to the Dior natural bronze in shade 6, which I have been using for the past 3 to 4 years and I love the finish. It just makes your skin look flawless and blends so easily over everything. I have tan lines in RMS, which I have to start using. I don’t know why I’m afraid to! 😂 maybe the luminosity. I always try new products on the weekend so I’m not under office lighting!

Great video Alli! ☀️ I love the Guerlain terracotta bronzer in light, I’m on my second one. I can use it for a full face, bronzer, blush, highlighter and a little bit as eye shadow, it has the perfect color on my complexion as a bronzer. I like the Chanel that now is part of Les Beiges. In general bronzers are not my thing because I tend to look yellowish or orangey, in reality my face does not bronze but gets shrimp red 😂.

Shrimp red is a great expression! 😆I totally get what you mean though. I think that's why I adore the Tom Ford bronzer so much, it's a shame that Chanel always leans so warm all the time.

Tom Ford Terra all day here!💚 In the most luminous bronzer category should be the Sisley bronzer as well, but probably you don’t have it. And in the disappointing category I thought you will mention the Dior bronzer (hard pan). I would like to see a video about powder with things like: best for dry to normal skin, best for oily skin, loose vs pressed powder and the differences between setting powder and finishing powder (do we really need both?). Thanks for sharing!🙂 P.S. Yes for a video about best brushes for bronzers.

I haven’t tried the Sisley bronzer yet but I’ve heard and seen how nice it is. I always see it when it goes on sale twice a year but just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Even though the Dior bronzer has hit hard pan I can still get the payoff that I want so that’s why it isn’t a total disappointment for me.

Oh yay! Happy to hear that. I think 5 years is about right for powders, that being said I have some that are older than that and still haven't turned.

Wonderful job ! You sure did a lot of work ! I have most of the bronzers you mentioned except the leopard Guerlain….. I agree with your reviews…..I’m kind of a bronzer junkie…..☺️. But I recently got the new Armani large compact bronzer….this one is beautiful….easy to blend …similar texture to Chantecaille ….gives a very pretty glow without the glitter look….seems to be the one I am using the most now….but I do love the same ones you do, too. 💚 32:04

Oh thank you so much Vickie 💚 I haven't tried the Armani bronzers yet. Some people told me that they didn't like the new release from Armani so I was a bit turned off. I'll see if I can swatch them in person.

My pleasure! Hard pan sucks so much. I usually take a spooly and scratch it across the pan or take some scotch tape and lift the hard pan off the product.

Hi Alli! Having trouble with my IPad today. Thanks for this video - it was exactly what I needed and wanted. Excellent comparisons and swatching. A top 5 would also be great! 💚💚💚💚. I typed up a review of all the bronzers I’ve used and it got deleted in error. Ugh. One quick question. Would you like the Gucci bronzer shade more in a different color intensity or is it just one shade? That’s the only one I never tried.

Oh no! That is so frustrating when tech fails us like that 😂 Yes, I think I would like the Gucci bronzer more if it just had a better tone. I bought it online and if I had purchased it in person I would have chosen a different shade. C’est la vie.

Bonjour Allison, merci pour cette vidéo. ❤ Je pense que le bronzer Hermès teinte 2 assez jaune, je préfère le teinte 3 et au contraire le bronzer Dior teinte 5 a bel couleur, juste la texture est trop dure. Mon bronzer préféré est un bronzer de la marque Physicians Formula 🎉 et pourtant je n’ai que des bronzer de marque de luxe mais celui ci est désormais mon bronzer préféré ! Le bronzer est d’une texture incroyable, on dirait légèrement crémeuse, tenue incroyable, donne un tres joli teint glowy sans effet boule à facettes, très haute pigmentation, un bronzer de grande qualité, rapport qualité prix imbattable. 👍

💚. Hi Ali. I have way too many bronzers. The ones I reach for all the time is my Guerlain powder bronzer, Hourglass powder trio in volume 3, Sisley phtyto touché, Dior blush in Charnelle as a bronzer. Sadly , Chanel is on the back burner this year. Great vid. 🎉❤

Für mich gibt es nur ein einziges Contour Powder, das ich als Bronzer verwenden kann, weil es 100% meinen Hautton hat, wenn ich braun werde. Alle Bronzer dieser Welt sehen künstlich und unnatürlich auf meiner Haut aus.

Es hat einen traumhaften gelben, warmen Unterton - sieht nach dem Auftragen aus wie meine eigene Haut (obwohl ich keinen oliven Unterton habe). Gebe jetzt schon lange kein Geld mehr für neue "Bronzer-Versuche" aus :-) Schaue dein Video aber trotzdem gerne...

@@AllisonChase Bin wohl die Ausnahme, aber ich mag ihre Lidschatten nicht. Hermes Bronzer in "Atlas" scheint mir noch am ähnlichsten zu sein (aber goldener und wärmer). Der Refill ist hier in Deutschland leider nicht erhältlich und das Kompakt ist mir zu teuer gewesen. Wir können hier auch nicht wieder umtauschen. Ein Vergleich würde mich sehr interessieren... Den Guerlain Bronzer nutze ich ausschließlich als Blush. Aber meine absoluten Lieblingsblushes sind "04 Eiko" von Shiseido und "102 Natsuke" von Suqqu. Alles Töne, mit denen ich absolut ungeschminkt aussehe, weil sie farblich exakt zu meinem Hautton passen. Mehr besitze ich auch gar nicht - ist alles, was ich brauche :-) Sorry für den langen Text! No worries Nadine! I haven't discovered much Suqqu makeup but I'll keep that mind about their bronzers. The Hermès bronzer is really nice but so expensive so I understand your apprehension.
