I really love all dlc maps but Washington is still my favorite, beautiful landscape, beautiful bridges, forests, great cities. It's just a completely great map !
I found texas to be a bit boring to drive through compared to say Montana or Oregon. Not the devs fault but it's just how the states are irl. For example, montana has a lot of fun mountainous roads with a variety of elevation whereas texas is mostly just flat with highways.
I wonder what should I get if I have the base game and want to start by adding two dlc's as a start? I see all the best and newest maps are cut off from the base game and I'd like to be able to have the connected map at any point as I'm buying dlc's. So, NM + Texas would give me Texas, which is the biggest and newest map, but I "pay for it" with NM, which is apparently the oldest and outdated. Or, for example, Oregon + Washington would give me a nice long line, as well as what I assume are good looking mountainous regions. But, no Texas:) What would be the best combo I could go for, if I want to have some nice scenery and nice long routs? For what it's worth, I also prefer to struggle a bit on the road vs having just a straight highway.
@@doolioart3314 For value for money you could check out the "Northwest Bundle". It includes Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Forest Machinery, Wheel Tuning Pack and Retro Paintjobs Pack. I can't check the price of it since I already own everything in it and it's different if you ouwn part of the bundle. I understand if it's too much money to spend in one go but always be on the lookout for bundles when it comes to ATS and ETS2. They are usually very good value (and some smaller DLCs like paintjobs are sometimes free in bundles). You find the bundles by going to the DLC you want and there should be an option underneath the regular single purchase.
I like Texas landscapes. Yes, its different from mountain states so it can be boring for some players, but it has its own atmosphere. I like highways and straight roads. You should know the states with mountains are finished. New states have less mountains, but more green i think.
"You should know the states with mountains are finished." For all practical purposes, yes. The Appalachians and the Adirondacks are so far in the future as to be negligible for the current player base.
Texas is the cheapest DLC considering the cost benefit. And there are mediocre people who say it's too expensive. In the texas DLC you can play for days without having to leave the state if you don't want to, it's like a small country.
I really enjoyed how Montana improved the Idaho experience, by filling in a lot of connections. (Besides its being a fine map in its own right.) I hope you have a similar experience when you get a chance to pick it up. 👍

This is Amazing! I'm expecting SCS SOFTWARE on adding México in America Truck Simulator & in World of Trucks! Even though México is in AMERICA! What about check points & brake Ramps illegal job's & some side job's across state's & countries I'd love to see USA & Mexico intergreated compatibility with TruckersMP & Promod & SCS, Y Que ay para Colima Jalisco y Michoacan ? Will it have Whether sessions? Cab overs? Why so many viruses & glitches on all these Mexican detailed Mod's
Err.. I hope. With constant improvements to their maps I hope they'd get to releasing the smaller states faster and bundled so they won't end up like EA who'd sell each city in a $2.99 dlc
Texas is best map dlc at now. But ı dont agree utah is bad state. Utah roads relaxing to me everytime. Good plains, rocky spaces, desert quality very good.Also New Mexico have a good quality. I think Arizona needs reworking. Also Idaho is boring. :D
@@tomaz9601 Your calculations are absolutely wrong unfortunately because it is misleading! SCS has only made 2 states for the US each year along this time. US has 50 states and only 11 were made. Redo your calculations because the result has to take *20 YEARS* If SCS do 3 maps on each year, optimistically, still take almost *14 YEARS* IMPORTANT: How many games others brands like ubisoft, Team17, etc, can do while this time. Remember because are 14 years... optimistically regards
@@theodorespittnikov5470 yeah but first, developers like Ubisoft are way bigger, second is that the east (upcoming states) are way smaller than the states on the west, Third is that Hawaï and alaska probably arent coming so they need to make 48 states

@@tomaz9601 I disagree because even in Oklahoma, which is a very small state, SCS will only deliver it in the next semester - more than 6 mouths... and another one at the end of 2023. So, according to SCS's history, it will still only deliver 2 states per year, despite their size. If SCS delivers Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska in 2023 and Dakotas at once, even in first of 2024, I might think you might be right and things aren't taking as long no matter how big SCS is
