I have multiple theories: 1.) He's the biological son of some Norwegian (Or some other type of) war God of combat. 2.) Some government caught wind of the Doomguy and tried to clone his DNA after slaying some Demons 3.) He's basically Human Evolution at its finest. The best part, all of these are possible knowing this show.
I love how Brock is just a normal human, like I don't think they've ever had a plot about him being a genetically engineered man, or a clone, he's just a guy, who got a good set of genetics, and trained until he was so badass he basically can't be stopped.
@Bruda3 Well, it's ultimately a cartoon, so him surviving impossible odds could very well be him in his natural body, but Brock does seem to be depicted as the single most dangerous individual in the entire show after The Investors (With the only competition being Warriana and Red Death, since Red was faking it when Brock took him down) while using only a knife, when his competition is made of people with power-suits, futuristic weapons and devices, superpowers, magical abilities and other fully trained peak humans who took super soldier serums and used firearms on top of that. In any context that wasn't THIS cartoonish I'd say the OSI gave him the strongest and safest serum ever made, but in Venture Bros... Yeah, he's probably natty.
Actually, I think he got the same supersoldier serum Hatred got, given the both have very strong, almost problematic libidos. Granted, Brock's libido is a lot less problematic, but...I mean look at Spanikopita Island.
I wouldn't be surprised to find out Brock is actually one of Jonas's estranged offspring. Or if Hank is more akin to Brock's pseudo-clone than doc's direct offspring. As I am certain that Dean is in fact a clone of Doc, while Rusty himself is also a clone
@@blairbuskirk5460 I don't think dean is a direct clone of Rusty he looks nothing like him in his youth.i dont think hank is Brocka clone either I simply think Brock took more to hank cause hank is awesome lol, no but I think cause hank is brave and grew to be fearless and hes willing to learn also cause he saw how rusty favored dean and knew hank needed someone to love him best
The fact that he took a whole body worth of tranq darts AND was hit with a truck and remained alive tells you just how much adrenaline the man has in him.
For all the damage he has survived, for all the people he has killed, for all the supervillains he has fought (including top-tier ones), let's admit it: Brock is a superhero.
Ever notice they have several characters that are labeled “Super Soldier”, I.e. Sargent Hatred or Action Man, but none of them are as good or tough as Brock which leads me to think they were all beta tests and Brock is the end result.
@@tabulldog2743 it is not perfect it has some flaws here and there but I got say that since The Invisible Hand of Fate Venture Bros is easily among the best animated shows ever.
19:12 Okay that shows that the VB crew actually knows how grenades work. They’re not primed when the pin comes out; they’re primed when the _handle_ comes off. So the grenade isn’t guaranteed to blow up... unless Helper opens his mouth.
@@valiensr1037 No I mean they literally animated the pin as a string. On a real grenade, the pin is a folded metal rod stuck through the hole and bent open on the other end, not floppy at all.
Can we just acknowledge that somehow Henchman Zero survived being Samsoned. I mean maybe not the second time but that's gotta be a record. Some henchman rarely survive the first time. Samsoned to me is when Brock is actively trying to kill you. So 21's run in with Brock don't count since I don't think Brock thinks of him as a threat.
Taking timelines and how fcked up are worlds of this dudes we end with A. Brock is Dooms father who traveled through time to make hin B. Doom is Brocks father who mated with hottest succubus for sake of perfect son C. They are brothers and their father is one-hella-of ripped/buffed god
"So...uh... What're you doing here?" "...Unf." "...Well,, just don't touch the boys..." "...Unf." "... Not possessed recently, no." "...Unf." "...Gotta say I like megadeth over Slayer personally."
@@roetemeteor “so, you had a pet rabbit?” *nods* “Gotta say, she was a real cute one…. You miss her don’t you?” *nods slowly.* “Look, I know a guy who might be able to help get her back, but it depends on how you can deal with some… odd personality traits.•
his nick name fits him heracles A half-god of superhuman strength and violent passions, Heracles was the epitome of bravery and masculinity in the ancient world and the most notable champion of the Olympian order
Dude, his name is literally Samson, like the strongman of the bible blessed by the true God. The Samson who killed thousands in battle, could pull down entire stone buildings with his bare hands, and could only be temporarily stopped because his girlfriend cut his long hair.
19:25 Brock's really taking advantage of that plate in his chest to quite literally scare a Guild black ops agent to death, even if he didn't mean to. 😁😄😂
@@reaperking7748 Or just a case of Team Fortress 2's Saxton Hale Fight, where the majority of the players round off against a single man. If Saxton Hale's played by Samson, the round would end in 60 seconds. If he's on our side, at least 2 minutes for the boss to finish their will.
@@datkhornedog899 If there was ever anyone in fiction who could stand toe-to-toe with Brock Samson, it's Saxton Hale. If there was ever anyone in fiction who could stand toe-to-toe with Saxton Hale, it's Brock Samson. They would, at the very least, have mutual respect for refusing to fight with guns.
Ladies Man, martial arts master, unfiltered source of testosterone and adrenaline. His blood is the base of all steroids. He’s the ultimate human specimen.
@4:10, notice that the base of the head where it was removed from the body was jagged and torn. Brock did not cut the head off with his knife, that would lead to a clean cut. Brock ripped that man's head off with his own two hands
1:22 - 1:34 had me deadddd asl Brock really let himself get whacked by a speeding car so he could crash through the window just to death-crush the carjacking lady-thief with his badonkadonk😂
19:22 Just now realized that Brock survived a shot to the chest due to his chest plate. Always thought he was just too tough to die. Should’ve added a metal deflecting *ping* sound. Also it’s how he survived Think Tank’s cannon at 16:36 Edit: And just now remembered when they attended the emergency summit searching for Zeus the OSI agent said his chest plate counts as body armor.
Patrick Waburton always plays the most powerful character, like (from least to most powerful) he played Brock Samson who needs no introduction. Then he played Finn whose navigating skills are so impeccable that some say he can go through the Bermuda Triangle with his eyes closed. Then there was the almighty Joe Swanson who is so powerful that God had to nerf him with Paralyzation. And of course, who can forget when he played *The Ultimate Lifeform: Kronk*
I'm gonna miss the Venture Bros. Its like a part of me has been removed despite having stopped watching the series around season 4. I still remember the late nights of watching this show and still laughing my ass off because of Brock. You will be missed Venture Bros. Hopefully something good will happen to where it will come back.
@Shephard but that was never established anytime their mother was brought up it was immediately cut off. There are theories about it but the creators has kept a zipped lip on it so far
@@thatonea-hole even if we don't get another season to (hopefully) wrap things up, at the very least I want a TV movie that goes all out and sends off the venture bros with a bang.
You cannot tell me this man isn't invincible! He got pin cushioned by tranqs, hit by a truck and knocked out cold & he still had a grip on that guys throat! This man is the most dangerous creature in existence!
My favorite is how when he wakes up him and Brock are just shooting the shit over it. Like honestly I think 21 is a legit threat to Brock, but both kinda prefer sparring with each other. Edit: damn now I want like the murder house episode but Brock and 21 competiting for most kills
Even though venture bros got canceled, it’s cool Brock got a cool story in the final episode. Locked in a tower with a blackout squad Edit: I’m a bit late but there is a movie planned now. So awesome
@@justamule707 Also, the merger between HBO and Time Warner. That’s why Infinity Train made the jump from Cartoon Network to HBO Max. Also, a lot of the old guard from both Cartoon Network and Adult Swim either retired or left when the merger came. The changes to Adult Swim are a large part of what led to Venture Bros. being cancelled.
@@amandadane868 just wait till netflix or something buys the right. I mean they restart Johnny test-.- the thing about todays public shows is that there are a lot of demands for old shows to be renewed.
@@ytw101 Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be that easy. Especially with the earlier seasons containing direct (and unliked by HB) parodies of Johnny Quest. On top of that, I sincerely doubt they will sell the rights to Venture Bros to Netflix or let the creators go over there.
my personal favorite brock moment is is when rusty finds out about sphinx and there talking about the sacrifices they made and brocks is not being able to tell they boys there safe
Huge props to Brock for defending martial arts Every incel feels like it’s his right to say that any martial art pales in comparison to “52 blocks” or “combatives” or some shit Martial arts are very hard to learn, and using them in a real fight where everything goes is even harder. The difference between the guy who learned how to try and hit someone with his ankle and a guy who learns martial arts is that the second one doesn’t really have to do anything to win
yeah im sooo the guy that doesnt know martial arts but it was fun fighting my friend who did karate or something (brown belt) against a guy who know what he was doing i wouldnt stand a chance but i am incredibly strong with no effort so it was fun ruff housing in the sand
Tf are you talking about? I served in the Army as an infantryman (frontline soldier whose sole job is combat) and train in MMA, kickboxing, and Jiu Jitsu, and although your standard martial arts are definitely useful, especially compared to someone who doesn’t train, a lot of the techniques used in them have to be modified heavily or completely ditched in a real fight. The biggest example being punching. In MMA/boxing you have gloves on so you can punch people in the face all day. Do that in a real fight with no gloves and you’ll likely break your hands in which case you’ll immediately be screwed. Palm strikes to the face and closed fists to the body are far better. Similarly it’s horrible to try and fight someone on the ground Jiu Jitsu style. If you’re forced to the skill is good to have, but for the most part it’s best to stay in your feet as much as possible. Even with all of this and even if you are magically the greatest fighter ever you’d be screwed most cases as people are more commonly attacked by multiple aggressors as well as being caught by surprise AND the aggressors are usually armed with weapons. You’ll lose that fight (aka why a gun is always preferable)
Combatives are simply derived techniques that sometimes miss certain things in their creation. Some techniques are dumbed down. True martial arts....freakin physical, practical and beautiful art.
@@DragonGold121. The reason Brock loves martial arts is that it applies his natural talent and encouraged him to think instead of being some rando strong dumb guy.
Brock is basically Sycho Sid if he had retired from wrestling to become a bodyguard for a parody of Dr. Quest. And he has the voice of Kronk. That is one of the many reasons why I like this character.
I love how they progressively strung out the pirate over the seasons... funny but strikingly accurate.... pure comedy, funny in the face of pure dispair....
Woah, woah WOAH! How the hell can you have a best of, and not include the scene where he beat two guys to death, while one of the guy's hand's was stuck up Brock's ass?! That moment was freaking gold!
the entire black out team / teleporter episode is the fucking best. i just love how Brock enjoys the entire thing and stops in the middle for a wiz break. when i went to disney i went on the soaring ride in epcot and the voice actor of brock does the ride intro and all i could thing of was him as brock doing the intro
I love how Brock always fights to win. He doesn't care about "honor" or any bullshit. He'll go for the nuts to start with (except for sparring of course, like with Gary)
Back when I didn’t watch the show and just saw glimpses, I always thought Brock and Rusty were married and I still think so, no matter how wrong I really am😂😂 I was heartbroken when Brock left in Season 4
