It's interesting that people are comparing Johnson and Superhans when the writers kind of stated that Superhans is the ultimate version of Jez and Johnson is the ultimate version of Mark. They're both, respectively, what Jez and Mark aspire to be, they're exaggerations of aspects present in both Mark and Jez's personalities and they're also kind of dark reflections of the two.

Its reflective of reality life really. Give any downtrodden, person who's had a crap life and being bullied a lot and eventually they start looking for positions of power.
