It was good The Monarch stayed for when KG opened Monarch's present. No one told him how sick KG was, and it was an honest mistake, and he owned up to his mistake. A good guy, that Monarch.
@@heyitsmeobama4335 King Gorilla was suffering from lung cancer from smoking. Monarch and KG were in jail, where cigarettes were currency. Monarch didn't know KG was sick from lung cancer, and the gift he gave was a carton of cigarettes, as an inside joke of sorts. Monarch stayed to own up to his mistake because he didn't know KG got sick from smoking.
What I love most is Monarch’s kept his promise to King Gorilla even after all the Blue Morpho chaos. He loved Sheila and he has *never* let her go, even when she had to go council member only.
Me: King Gorilla is such a nice guy. Its so tragic what happened to him. Why was he in jail again? Also me after watching this video: Oh yeah.... The televised murder and rape of a guy.
@@zprayy inaccurate. And when you’re inaccurate you’re just telling yourself “you aren’t good enough to give it your all, so you just as well half ass it” *BULLSHIT!* YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH, and you should strive to be better then that! Because deep down there is a dragon inside your colon waiting to be unleashed upon the world like a nuclear bomb of badassery composed of testosterone, explosions, and kick ass Olive Garden pasta! And when you half ass you’re giving that dragon the shit, and jerking off your insecurities! When instead you should be petting that dragon on the head and helping him get out of you and throwing your insecurities into the volcanic mountain that is your determination where thoughts of failure go to fucking die alone and sad because they couldn’t kill your spirit! *ahem* in conclusion, we are in accurate, and that is not something to allow ourselves to be.
@@carlbrown1000plus, King Gorilla is basically characters like Ultra Humanite, Gorilla Grodd and Monsieur Mallah. The last one is an actual gay gorilla who is dating the Brain.
Can only hope KG forgave Monarch after the little faux pas. How did nobody think to mention he had cancer? That's hardly something you just skim over in conversation.
I think that was the biggest reason he wanted to stay. To try and make it right because nobody told him his old prison bro/cell mate had cancer. Honestly even before then it was breaking Monarch's heart seeing King like that.
I wish The Monarch could have spun that present mishap, like if he'd left a note or told him that whenever he'd need a favor, or a friend, KG would have all the cigarettes he'd need to trade to the Monarch. Kinda referencing the scared straight bit with the Ventures.
To be fair, he did the right thing and stayed until the end. Mrs. Monarch was badgering him to leave, but he refused until King Gorilla opened the gift. Monarch may be an idiot, but he has honor.
@@SergeantExtreme That wasn't really being questioned so much as just wishing that they could have given their relationship a better send-off than it got. The joke was that awkward kind of funny the show is known for at times, it's just unfortunate that this is last time we see them together ending it in the way it did.
I hope King smoothed out the whole carton of cigarettes thing with "EH, look'a dis. I coulda bought all the bitches in our cellblock wid dese.! Good times in prison eh bud?"
They could have kept his power and strengthen and ditched foul profile . But a lot of the Guild antagonist oriented even the the Monarch and Sargent Hatred are bad .
I read that in real life the scene from The Shawshank Redemption where Dufresne escapes through the sewer pipe is impossible because those are too narrow.
After seeing villains like Gorilla Grodd, the Ultrahumanite and some other DC gorillas, seeing a normal intelligence, normal dude, gay statutory apist (that shirt is so funny in the thumbnail) is a pretty nice change of pace and pretty jarring on first watch.
