I love how these two are the only characters in the show to ask about why The Monarch hates Dr. Venture so much, and then bitch about not getting an answer. I feel that.
@@hippothehippo True, but he very clearly has a very specific reason for hating Rusty, one that is apparently not as worthwhile as The Monarch makes it out to be.
You know, I think we all kind of considered him a joke till that point, I did anyway, but he would actually kill them without mercy or hesitation if they ever crossed him, Doc is only still alive because 1.Sampson and 2.you can't hate a deadman, also, I think guild rules might prevent them from killing each other
Never, underestimate the Monarch. Like Dr. Girlfriend has said, he is the Real Deal. He is a true Super Villain and Arch Enemy. More so than most. His Hate is Genuine and True.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
It occurs to me... They were revealed to be deep cover agents for Phantom Limb. More than likely, that means they worked for him from the start. The main reason Sheila/DMTM said she failed as a main antagonist was because she couldn't control the Moppets. I wonder if Phantom Limb had them fail her so he could... "claim" her as a number 2, and she wouldn't feel compelled to strike out on her own. It's skeevy and manipulative enough that it'd fit his MO.
0:52 it might be purely accidental, but it’s actually brilliant that none of the monarch’s minions are below 20, because that would paint a target that Brock would go after
@@TheBeastr It's always quality entertainment when the monarch reminds the characters and the viewers of who and what he is but my personal favourite monarch/moppet moment might have to be 10:08
I gotta say in retrospect they added a lot of fun to Team Monarch, including some classic villainous infighting as they and 21 struggled for the unofficial number two position.
@@trevorreid9142 Phantom Limb was the one who got Sheila into the guild in the first place, so it would make sense he would arrange for her two minions to be someone he knows that could report on her.
6:20 "Why?" Me: *gets flashback cuts to the Venture Compound photo of Rusty making Malcolm cry when he took his toy and the plane crash* ....Why indeed, Tim Tom. Why indeed....
6:50 I was with the Moppets through the entire conversation. What did Rusty do? I know he an Ass who tried to sleep with his wife. But what else could have made him so mad. Did he kill his dog or something?
The Blue Morpho/Venturion/Vendatta would know... Well that a memory locked due to the impact of that fateful plane crash of '76 that's affected the Monarch's brain ever since
Maybe from their childhood because Venturion choked Rusty when he had a flashback to Rusty stealing Malcolm's toy so they were around each other as kids
2:54 "What are you, CATS?! You'rr not sleeping in front of my bed! THERE'S 20 ROOMS IN THIS HOUSE!" This is weirdly rational for a pathollogically obssessed super villain...
So were the moppets always sleeper agents working for PL, or was that a plan to be put in place later? Just unsure if he was talking about getting them onboard later or if they’d always been on his side
Given how unhinged PL was during that time, it's entirely possible he thought he was charismatic enough to talk the moppets into killing Dr. Mrs. The Monarch or at least offer them something that would break their undying loyalty towards her.
0:20 I would say that this takes serious balls on Rusty's part. But it's been my experience that a lot of the time when someone does something that'd take serious cajones, it's more because they're too dumb to realize how many it would take.
Their most sacred law is Henchmen not killing henchmen.......didn't they in the very first episode kill Speedy instead of putting effort into saving him from Brocks Death Grip?
Holy shit the Moppets can kick some ass. Honestly the one time that these guys make me laugh is when they are doing inspections and they find Henchman 21 shirtless with a ball gag and Dr. Mrs. The Monarch dressed as a cheereleader straddling a comatosed The Monarch on the heart bed.....and they are just embarrassed and just leave the room. Edit: oh crap make that 4 times that make me laugh. I forgot they sleep in a cat bed and when they are watching the movie and TimTom is like, "When does she meet Hannibal Lecter?" And when they knife Dean's giraffe toy and they think that he masturbates with it and they get grossed out😂😂
@@Kentrc11 That plus the plane crash of '76 did more than likely damaged his brain a bit since he has 0 recollection of ever knowing Rusty when they were kids as per him discovering a group photo
What were they watching around 3:14? Hank says something about “Schindlers dingus” but then The Moppets mention Hannibal Lector. Im guessing its an “adult film”.(Being careful just in case YT autodeletes my comment)
Dr. Girlfriend was meeting the triads for an interview. Triads was qualified to have an arch villan and, they were trying to find one and dr girlfriend wanted to be that arch. But gave up.
The first 4 or 5 episodes are a little wonky but by the end of season 1 it's coming together with a great mix of comedy, action, world building, pop culture and character development.
There's definitely a noticeable difference between before and after the Monarch chose not to humor these little shits. For the rest of the show. But also: tossing hatred into the garbage made me instantly love them.
Not sure if this is a hot take or not, but I genuinely find the moppets to be the worst characters in the series. I think the only episode where they take center stage that I like is the one where they chase Gary and Hank pacman style.
