Who does?! He wrote Argo which is substantially less interesting and almost imperceptible as a sequel. The first movie was great and the spin off show is good too. I can't believe it won Oscar! It's nothing like the first movie. That's probably why he was hired for it, to differentiate from the original script material. They even dropped a letter. I mean, come on!

Despite their not caring about the amount of subscribers they have, it's still surprising that in 2022 they only have 1.37M subscribers. I say "only" because there are far lesser movie related channels with way more subscribers. Like just a guy sitting in a room talking to the camera.
There's one major thing that they forgot, time travel isn't the only way to bring characters back and thats multiverses. I wouldn't be suprised to see an evil Rey come out of a portal and a good boba fett or darth maul.

33:36 How I would have continued after Last Jedi and going into rise of Skywalker. 1) NO PALPATINE 2) Ok, the first order blew up the galactic government and the rebel forces are gone. Taking over the galaxy should be a clean sweep. Like the German Army invading Austria, there should be this terrifying acceptance. A new empire has returned. 3) But this empire is somehow worse. Not just ethically, but effectively. --No Snoke and only Kylo means a difficult figurehead and limited force influence in politics. Kylo can't choke senators fast enough to be taken seriously. His temper should be eating him alive (Oh, now I think "house of Vader" would be a great name for this movie since this is his obsession with the past glory he saw in his grandfather) --No central galactic government planet means that the first order is building infrastructure from SCRATCH. How do they collect taxes, resources, or command planets? What areas that don't just bend the knee to the First Order would be entering feudalism and fighting for territory. So there is your mini act 1 adventure: events like the remains of the trade federation or the Mandalorian empire taking over Tatooine and bombing the population with icy asteroids to try and terraform the planet. Our heroes fight off some tin pot dictators on the way to the mega dictators. --GIVE THE FIRST ORDER AN IDEOLOGY. Make them a "human's only" racist cult that wants to exterminate other aliens. Wookies, Ewoks, Kalamari, Twiliks, and whatever else form the civilians our heroes have to save. Like going from Kaiser Wilhelm to Adolf Hitler, show the galaxy getting worse. ------and my hangover kicked in. I will finish this rant later.
