AfricanONSLAUGHT Nah, there’s a difference between arrogance and confidence, if you see, the people full of themselves was Nikki, Nate amongst others. I think Ryan was one of the more confident contestants without acting like they’re the best or acting cocky
Did you even watch the series? She was the most obnoxious person in the whole competition, apart from St Marq she was the most obnoxious in every season
tone goes a long way in communication. if ryan did that in a cocky "im the expert here you're only a canvas" manner then i bet the canvas would've just argued. making people feel that you hear them and respect their ideas makes them reciprocate and opens them up to be more willing to compromise
@@cloroxicity5698 I'd get that if it was her boyfriend or something, but she wanted her kids' names, those are pretty much the only names a person should ever get tattooed, if any :D
I'm glad because guy tattoo artits for the most part are entitled, stuck up assholes with a heavy hand. I'm a guy and I have a half sleeve but I had a friend from high school who became a professional tattoo artist do it at his shop, but that was a long time ago and he's moved so any of my new tats I will be looking for a good female artist to do. Just my opinion lol.
I haven't actually seen the show before 😔, but do they take in the client/'canvas's' tastes and desires for a tattoo into consideration? Did this guy specifically want a tattoo in that style and on his chest?
duinsophie usually the human canvas in the finale is totally open, they don’t care what they get as long as it’s good, and they give the artists full reign. there have been some instances of the final canvases walking out though, which is really unfortunate. I’m sure they have back up canvases ready in case one of them decides that the design isn’t what they want or they get cold feet
I love Ryan Ashley I've meet her twice. She is super nice and recognize your support. We went to a tattoo convention not to long after she won ink master. My dad and I were there all day waiting to meet her. When she was done tattooing these two girls came up for her to sign things. What she did next amazed me. She asked the two girls to wait and came over to my dad and I to talk as and said thank you for our supporting and was amazed that we waited all day Edit: all I have to say is holy shit to all the likes on this comment and I appreciate and idk ryan looks at these but if she did I know she would appreciate it also
California Dreaming - calm down bruh. Didn’t say she was the best or not, just said it’s cool she was supportive of the other female artists - since traditionally on this show you see the cat fights.
Gian deserved the title. I love Ryan, but he was amazing. Never on the bottom, and didn't buy into the whole giys vs girls thing he just did what he had to do to win
@@mech-dragon1445 the reason why is Because ink master did not have a female inkmaster before her, the industry is male dominated and slightly sexist lol
I love how she felt so blessed to work with the other girls and it wasn’t about teams, it was out of respect I loved that she genuinely was humbled by the experience especially with the other girls
Anthony Kist I know she was confident in her work and the competition (for good reason) I’m talking about specifically working with the other women on the show
Anthony Kist bro do you have to reply to every positive comment about her and try to talk shit lmao. for someone who thinks so little of her, you sure seem to care quite a bit 😳
@@summers9052 I always care when people way over hype someone .I do it with tom Brady and virat kohli. Over rated people are the worst and need to be taken down pegs
@@Unemployedboyss Holy shit, how disrespectful to body shame beautiful women like that, you're just upset none of the ladies on Ink Master would never talk to you
She came at the situation in a very honesy and professional way. She told her straight up that its not that its a bad idea or that it wouldn't work but based on her knowledge of the competition she wanted to play it safer being the subject they had wouldnt have EVER had names in it. And as the lovely person above me said. If you get the artists info you can probably get more done after the show.
@@woofawoof7616 I was working at a high end resort during a film festival, turned around to answer a guest that had just walked up, and there was Olivia Wilde. She is absolutely stunning. Like, breathtakingly beautiful. I almost couldn't answer her, I was so stunned. And I see "famous" people at work pretty often.
By the way, do you have Tinnitus? I looked at your RU-vid page and you had a playlist about it. I've had it for years. If you know anything that could help me, would you be willing to share it?
People like to say that she can't do color just because she's a black and gray artist and therefore she didn't deserve to win. This video proves that those people are full of shit. Most of her wins were for color work. What an incredible artist.
@j1gz not cuz shes female, her details were cleaner and her images and ideas in general worked together well. The one with eric vs ryan, eric has good details but the image looked more "cluttered". You can tell ryan either draws or painted a lot and knows about dividing up space. If youve got a lot of details but its cluttered and doesnt blend with the canvas it looks terrible compared to a cleaner piece.
BakuBabe owO no but disrespecting the entire format of the series just to push some feminism agenda is. She was sabotaging her own team. If It was a normal season she would’ve been lampooned near the start.
@@pineappletree50 "feminist agenda" you mean friendship? lmao laughable, at the end of the day the teams didn't matter, there can only be one ink master and oliver had 2 people from his team in the finale. She is a well rounded, creative and versatile artist, she won because she completely deserved it and would have won over people like Scott any day
I followed Ryan in 2015 due to her ex-fiancé Josh Balz, he was in a band called 'Motionless In White' and I never thought that she would get this huge!!! I always saw her work and thought it was so damn good but to see her in Ink Master makes me really happy for her!!!💖
From all the interviews Iv seen on inked as well as inkmaster Ryan is so down to earth. Not only humble ,but I have no doubt she turn heads wherever she goes or her art. She can tattoo me any day.
kim jj chou That would only explain it if he hit on her and got rejected, which if I had to bet, that would be where I put my money. Lol He’d have to be gay not to at least have wanted to hit on her. 😂
www.tmz.com/2014/03/17/ink-master-nicoletta-robinson-chris-nunez-oliver-peck-sexual-harassment/ Seems plausible. Someone's ego got a little hurty wurty.
ryan is amazing shes confident, shes humble and works well with her competitors, shes talented, shes beautiful, and the fact she won with a piece completely different than her own art style and usual work just proves how incredibly dynamic and adaptable she is she's the most deserving woman to become the first female ink master
Why do so many people on this show act alot less interested than they probably are? “This is your new tattoo, are you excited?” “..........yeah” Wow dude you really sound it!
I think Chris Nunez is a bit sexist tbh, when I used to watch him on his old shows in the shop he was always flirty with good looking women and I think he doesn’t like to be threatened by a strong woman so he purposefully doesn’t choose her art
Not as consistent as Gian, ryan is very good, but they picked her cause she is easier to market and a people's favourite. Gian was consistent, smooth, clean but just not as good of a business choice.
@@Masa6x Gian is a technically sound but artistically unimpressive tattooer. All he did were simplistic designs a half-talented kid could have drawn. Ryan can draw circles around him (and most people who have ever been in this competition). She's a real artist, not just someone who can do a clean line.
Ryan was my absolute favorite on this show. She's super talented, confident and really uplifting to the other female contestants. And to add, she's absolutely gorgeous.
Ryan proves that you don't have to be a jerk to win. Just do good art and you don't have to do any drama or manipulation. She was so kind to the other girls and I love it!
She is an incredible artist! Really, if there were ever any doubt (not from me..I'm totally a fan) it was proven _beyond_ any such doubt by the fact that she *nailed* that 90's piece, done in a style not only the very opposite of her specialty, but a style she admitted to hating. She completely deserved that win.
Congratulations to Ryan, her hard work, perseverance, focus and talent, won her the title of Ink Master. It’s strong women like her that I like to show my teenage daughter. Ryan is an inspiration for all people, but especially for the women who compete in male dominated venues.
Adriana Duarte Close, the “area” belongs to anyone who would like to tattoo. It has just predominantly been done by men in the past. Just like nursing used to be predominantly done by women in the past. 😊
This season had two of the top 5 best artists that have ever been on this show. Ryan and Kelly. Ryan absolutely deserved that win her last tattoo with the hot rods and skull might be my favorite tattoo I’ve ever seen on this show and it’s not even something I’d ever see myself liking before seeing it but just WOW the chrome was executed perfectly
I remember watching this! I knew of her work before ink master, and I even thought “she should be on a show for this”. I rooted for her the entire time, and I’m so thrilled she won and how much her career skyrocketed from this.
I love how Ryan always keeps it classy in the competition. Also especially when she was announced ink master she could’ve like rubbed it in gians (idk if I spelled it right ) face but she hugs him as if they were great friends. Idk I think that shows how good of a sport she is.
What I start to dislike with this show is that you basically have 90% drama and trashtalk. Then some of of these art-challenges and the critiques. You don't see much of the tattooing itsself. Now if you don't care about the personal shit between these contestants you basically can watch an episode in 5 minutes, wich SUX.
@@seymourcarson Bob Ross had his art show. I don't see why there can't be a tattoo show. Inked's angle is tough, competitive, action, and preening. The two styles clash, but there could definitely be a calming tattoo show that appears like a nature documentary.
I KNOWN IM SO LATE ON THIS BUT OMG SHE WAS MY FAVORITE THROUGH OUT THIS WHOLE THING EVERY SINCE I STARTED WATCHING INK MASTER AND I CANT BELIEVE SHE MADE IT! YESSS
