Best car ever made. Do *NOT* even argue, good in snow, long lasting, dependable, fast, modular, more than daily drivable, just perfect, complete perfection.
God gets a joyful laugh or delight watching the purity of human creation of man and beast. Tear comes upon my eye of beauty and wonderment in the sport of rally racing. The most best of the best. May God bless and protect yo and yours.
If I could id get myself a 2016 plate onwards low mileage WRX STI (im in UK, no new ones available except one final edition model for silly money and personally I dont like the bigger alloys and lower profile tyres on that version) and keep it ten years. Actually quite a lot for sale still on Auto Trader surprisingly at Subaru dealers, one owner full history examples. Dont worry about the supposed cylinder head problems of early models which proliferate forums (would never join one, im not interested in what other owners are doing and they are full of “experts”, passing on info from everyone else like Chinese whispers). All thinking they know more than you and forcing their opinions on everyone, no time for people like that. I buy a car for what it is, im not interested in modifications, I simply buy a car because its what I want. I don’t need others to tell me what I should be doing with it. Its a car for every road condition, a solid and reliable long lasting car and it would give great pleasure every single day, no matter how short the journey.
Tiger 131 was literally sitting here thinking 'atleast they could have shown, mcrae, possum bourne and chris atkinson, the only ppl who ever looke quick in one of these things' then i read your comment lol.
Anyone knows where come from that so particular noise that there are only on WRC spec sub? I think it's turbo, but any clue why that particular noise compared to other turbocharged cars?
+Oswald Cobblepot I think that particular noise comes mostly from the modified exhaust-systems. But the boxer-engines from subaru have a very unique sound too.
+Oswald Cobblepot the subaru rally cars run equal length headers, the wrx and sti from factory run an unequal length header which gives the deep token subaru rumble sound
