13 was much more competitive game. I still have yet to see any game get to that level of sweat

That's true but on the other hand you have the skill gap to play this was way too high for this to cultivate a new generation of players, not defending the casualisation of any of the new games but it is needed for players to approach without thinking that they need to invest inhumane amount of training for each execution and awareness of meta, tech, setups, etc. I do like the old school execution, but tbh it is not healthy for anyone anymore no matter if you're new or old school. It is sadly better to have a limited meta and growing from that starting point.
