At 2.42, the woman was about 200 yards from you and she was perfectly safe to cross there, you said "how stupid are you" but what did she do wrong? you should have just slowed down a bit but there was never any danger to her or her children.

Yes at 2.42 We have the classic case of someone thinking might is right. In fact chivalry of the road is to respect those more fragile. In France you are told to allow people to cross the road wherever they choose to cross. The principle is you stop if necessary and do not accelerate and swear at them.

@@jfryer485 exactly, he would want her to have walked about one hundred yard to cross at a crossing, taking time and effort, all it would cost him was a second or two. A bit of consideration is all it takes but this guy hates to be slowed at all.

Theo H, I think the cars stopped at the green light may have been waiting to see which way the emergency vehicle went before proceeding, so they didn't get in its way on the junction.

Thats me in the clip :) there's no turning to the driver's/my left there and nowhere the police car would be going that she would've needed to stop, even as a precaution. I'm assuming she was looking at the red lights for the right turn lane rather than all the green lights for ours. I just didn't want to be sitting stationary at a green light on a 50mph bit of dual carriageway! :)

@@SPTSuperSprinter156 I wasn't expecting her to stop at first, thought she was maybe slowing down for the previously mentioned siren, by the time I clocked she was going to stop, there was a lorry in the other lane, not a problem in a normal car as just move over and go, however I was driving an old classic beetle which, in my opinion at the time wouldn't have got over and up to the 50mph speed to get out of the way of the lorry in time. There's always things that can be done differently in hindsight though! Happy new year :)

Very hard to have something faster than a GT-R. Some German diesels may just about keep up to an extent at such speeds thanks to their torque however the GT-R is unbelievably powerful.
