Yea I dont get why they rank the games based almost entirely on what pokemons are available and not mainly the methods you can use. X Y has radar, hordes, chain fishing, and masuda yet its in C tier... what?
Yes sword and shield locked a lot of shines but they werent that great except galarian birds, and if you ignore the shiny locked pokemon then its actually s tier with the crown tundra dlc and shiny charm.
Even though I'm sure lots of people disagree with the list, the content is really well done. I do highly recommend going back and playing the first 2 games as they have very unique shiny mechanics (gen 1 technically doesnt have shinies but pokemon transfered up can still be shiny) and gen 2 is a world of its own. I do wish the IV manip had been mentioned for the gen 3 series though.
I love how my dude just full committed to throwing random games around without caring at all for statistics, evidence, or any of that "boring" stuff 😂😂😂 Like making a "healthiest meals in 2024" and ranking it on how good they taste alone 😂😂😂😂
Bro what do you even mean s/v has one of the easiest shiny hunting methods you can get. Just make a simple sandwich and you can literally find anything. Add that to the fact you can increase encounters of a certain type and you are basically guaranteed to get the shiny you want. You can't make a tier list based on what you like and what pokemon are in the game. Its "best game to shiny hunt in" not "which game do I like the most". s/v uou can find one without the shiny charm even so idk just my opinion.
@@spiritblue5139 way to quote part of the sentence, its a video titled in full quote "Best Pokemon Game for Shiny Hunting" which means its a tierlist for best pokemon game for shiny hunting, not my favorite pokemon games to shiny hunt in. So in other words yes this guy cant make a tierlist (not that they are not allowed to, but cant do it right if they bungle up the title or point of the video/tierlist)
I know people have opinions and shit but holy... I just dont see why you'd rank games for their shiny hunting based almost entirely on what pokemon you can hunt, I get that it affects it but who tf is shiny hunting in emerald unless they really want a pixelated legendary...
My favorite game to shiny hunt in is pokemon sun. I enjoyed using the sos call method to chain for pokemon. There were so many good hunts to do and I miss it. Unfortunately I sold my 3ds
This is a really good vid and I love to hear your views on emerald hunting. If you see this would you be able to help give tips on shiny hunting starters in emerald? Obviously after this I’m trying to find the vid if it’s on ur channel but if u have any newer tips i would appreciate them:)
as in SwSh with F.... after all, shiny hunting was good.... much better than in the first 6 gen where it was terrible I also can't because HGSS is on S xD Shiny hunting was tragic here... but oh well, nostalgia
All shinies in gen 2 are wicked decent. You have to get 10 across the board (except attack). When you transfer them over they all get 20 in IV’s except HP
@@nathanst.pierre1026 hmm...a guide from 2002 stated that the special gene could be 2 or A...mind you, I never verified this this with a ditto. I caught many dittos in a Pokémon red save. To verify this guide I would need to find a xx/59/xx/52 ditto. Maybe I'll try that next time. I had already caught 2 xx/59/xx59 dittos..
This is so dumb make no sense. Why would you like to waste time shining hunting when in 30min you can have any shiny in SV? If you want legendaries just go to Sw/Sh.
