Dymatize ISO 100 is hands down the best tasting protein I have ever tasted and I was able to lose weight while increasing my dead lift and bench press strength.
@@Njliving22 I like the Coaco Pebbles one but the Gourmet Chocolate is okay too. They both tatse better with milk but they tatse great with water. I like drinking milk so that might influence it. Never had them with juices.
just bought what you recommended. based off of the nutritional facts, it actually passes all of the tests for being a good protein powder: no amino spiking, whey isolate, and no crazy claims. + 25g of protein isn’t bad at all. i’ll post here again when it arrives
@@tokocold Guessing the Coaco Pebbles? Glad you like it! I recently went on a bulk so was looking for something with a bit more calories. I like Ghost's Peanut Butter Milk flavored protein. I haven't tried it with water but I really like that flavor too.
Gold Standard is the best. The taste is Just right. Neutral taste is much better because it gets right to the core of fitness development w/o all the sugary ingredients that makes fat loss more difficult, and we want to be leaner rather than bulky and fat.
Use Orgain - love it - have lost about 7% body fat and gained muscle - took a minute to get use to - I add spinach, cauliflower and coffee - at night the chocolate peanut butter woth frozen spinach macadamia milk and ice is AMAZING! Kills all my cravings 😊
The gold standard I’ve tried and that’s the only protein that makes me wanna take a doo doo or have Lowkey a upset stomach. I like the LeanBody protein ! Ima try this iso fruity pebbles one tho now ! Just finished lean body protein and it didn’t give me any problems like the gold did.
I am avoiding anything that has sucralose. It was recently identified as a genotoxin and now i am wondering whether this food additive is responsible in part to the increased rate of colorectal cancer in young people.
@@donaldkasper8346 re plant proteins: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_QzAujlGbOM.html I am using pure goat whey vanilla and stevia flavor in my smoothies now. It's less bothersome for my tummy than cow whey. I add Chlorella, "Juce" powdered fruit and greens from Costco and their organic frozen berries and vegetable smoothie packets all together, yum! If I want thickness, I may add some pre soaked chia seeds or 1/2 tsp. of xantham gum a few times.
I use my protein brand and have for years with almond milk and banana pumpkin seeds bcaa peptide collagen glutamine and beta calamine for my protein workout
Usn iso pro by far. A whooping 27gr of pure protein. Real lactose free and no spikes. Vanilla tastes like cookie and is awesome with corn flakes or coffee as a pick me up. Iso100 aint bad either but the eu version we have here is not lactose free and on the funk side sweet. Gold standard is shit and organics have way too much iron and fibers and stevia which can create a havoc to your digestive system.
Yeah and jut $70 a jar instead of Orgain at Costco now $23 a jar for 2.7 pounds through the 26th. Difference from iso protein is that is has some fiber so very slight gritty taste.
@@donaldkasper8346 and you shit it proper and gloriously. Man iso is the purest form of protein and either lactose sensitive people must always have it with lactate enzymes. Is a rule. Now imagine your back of a van portions made u promoting. Good luck
The comment I’ve been looking for… I’m lactose intolerant so the USN ISO Pro will be my protein powder. Also how is the chocolate flavour, as I’m seeing that it’s showing up more than the vanilla flavour.
Mix it into a paste with coconut oil and put it onto your biceps and pecs every night. Say "whey hey hey do we say" x3 and you'll be doing great in no time.
Look at the ingredient list... You're not getting what you pay for. Same for every other powder on this list. They're all discount brands with low quality / misleading ingredients...
@@ic9628 I followed your advice for a week and one night I got a text message from Terminator telling to meet up with him. Guys, this is some good advice, but you have to be up to the task. Good luck to anyone trying this out!
Commercial proteins in supermarkets in the US are suspect at best and there are only 2 I have found I would ever buy if I was in a pinch. Otherwise I get my cold CFM whey isolate, bovine serum, of Hi frag 100% hydrolyzed low dalton weight whey isolate from New Zealand or Germany with state of the art processing that is grass fed on land that has organic soil naturally with the soil micro biome still in tact. There is minimal flavoring choices and chemicals added if at all and zero amino spiking which is common in the US. If you want blueberry cheesecake flavored protein, you’re missing the point. I take protein for results, not flavor. 💪
I love how the video and everyone in the comments is raving about #1 and #3, both of which use Sucralose. Yeah, have fun with that people. Apparently taste is more important than health to some of you.
Sucralose is not dangerous in any normal dosage, especially what you’ll find in a protein powder. It’s not like they’re using some damn cyanide to sweeten it. Every substance is toxic in enough amounts. But you have to actually hit that toxic level. Just having the ingredient at all doesn’t make it dangerous lmao
That depends on what you mean by "health". The monotonous act of taking in protein every damn day gets old and exhausting. Sometimes nauseating. Unless there are MAJOR proven health concerns, I personally find it worth taking something that tastes better. We have to think about mood and mental health, as well.
@@shaninmay3936 sugar does not have UNIQUELY negative health effects. It’s _extremely_ easy to overeat and for sure needs to be limited, and doesn’t bring with it the benefits that other macros and even carb sources have. Red flags around it, sure. but it’s not actually bad in and of itself. This distinction is important for cases like this where people freak out just from sugar being on the label. That’s silly
RU-vid has alot of useful information on nutrition and protein intake for different body transformation goals. Start with "How To diet for muscle gain". Then to answer your question "how to take protein for muscle gain". Hope it helps.
Im not a huge fan of the taste of protein powder, i have a chocolate flavour and it still tastes weird, but i usually blend it with skim milk (the milk i use has 18g protein per cup) and then i add 2-3 scoops of chunky peanut butter. My end result is a moatly peanut butter tasting shake, which i enjoy cause i absolutely love peanut butter
Doesn’t matter which one you pick, they all accomplish the exact same thing. If you’re struggling to gain weight and having trouble eating more normal foods then any mass gainer is worth a try just for the calorie density
I've been consistently watching what I eat and consuming as much food as I can everyday and in the past 7 months I went from 125 lbs to 155 lbs. I asked because I've been plateauing and want to add more weight.
@@lancobear3544 yeah same deal still, standard whey is great but won’t do anything special to help you bulk up unless you find shakes much easier to consume than whole foods. In which case I would still either add lots of stuff to the shake or try a mass gainer for convenience. And see if you can add some easy fats to your diet, like throwing in a little more olive oil or butter into certain dishes just to give you a bump. Though ideally carbs are a little better for your purposes
drank about 6.7 cans, I don't know if I'm the only one in this world, but it didn't do anything for me, it would have done without it. I have 2-hour workouts, it's impossible to finish 2 muscle groups within 2 hours, I eat like an animal, I didn't weigh 75 kg up down, maybe there is something in the vitamins of Optimum that does not allow you to gain weight or in this protein.. but I say that I would have reached this level even without protein.. the best-seller does not mean that it is the best on the market
Your Dad is right. At your age you need to get your protein from your diet. You still got a lot of growing to do, so concentrate on eating right and exercise. Research nutrition carefully and GL to you.
Sorry but Dymatize Nutrition ISO100 is the #1, Gold Standard Whey Protein #2, Orgain Organic Protein #3, Garden of Life Sport #4, Myprotein Impact Whey Protein #5
I just bought my first tub of Whey Isolate and NOW I find out that the stuff will spike my insulin levels. Yet some studies say that these kinds of protein will help some people lose weight. I was under the impression that you will burn bodyfat only when the insulin levels are low. I both Lift and do Cardio. the brand name is called "Nutricost" or something like that. the ingredient list just says "Whey Protein Isolate" and then adds: soy and lecitin. Got any comments about that insulin spiking issue ?
"Number 1" Optimum Nutrition has cancer causing Acesulfame Potassium added to it (Most of their whey protein products do) and, they could care less. Might want to rethink that list if you value your health.
Actually the Gold Standard (No. 1 ) is the worst... Do your own homework on each one before just taking somebodies word for it... The Dymatize is much better than average (probably best non plant type discussed here...)... Have use before and would buy it again... Good value for the price...
Gold standard from New Zealand is super sweet and sickening, upsets the body and creates bad acid reflux i tried choc peanut butter and banana strawberry. Looking at trying a different brand. Iso might be good
Yeah, I had double chocolate from them and it's alright but can hardly taste anything, and I also tried strawberry, strawberry was absolutely disgusting, so sweet and unbearable 😂
On just got sued for fakeing the amount of protein per saving 24 gr high protein quality but its only 15gr protein or something like that and the rest iti from cheap bcca like glutamine...
Just to let yall know, regular Whey Protein is perfect for all besides Lactose people. if you are lactose intolerant, make sure u buy Whey protein ISOLATE so you won’t fart all day 😂 like I did
@@moaydDrawing1 obviously you are okay with getting lied to and scammed by the products you buy and eat. The rest of us prefer to know the truth and trust what we read on the labels. Keep taking the blue pill. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.
So if I work in an environment where I'm normally using my entire body to lift heavy objects such as car batteries and heavy car parts, what would be the best for like a "passive" muscle gain protein? It's full time and I do most of the heavy lifting for my coworkers
Bro I do framing and it’s probably twice as demanding on your body. After 10 years of working in construction I finally realized that “heavy lifting at work” and actually weight training is nor the same at all. You want to build muscle and get more confidence you need to lift some weights. There’s no way around it.
Whoever made this video doesn't know very much about protein powder... Please search for a more well informed content creator before buying any of these.
There is *no way* ON Gold Standard can be no.1. It contains sucralose: I recommend everyone here look it up. Artificial sweeteners are bad news. I can only surmise that this list mimics sails - and is not based on sense.
You’re right because those artificial sweeteners from Premier whey tore my tummy up and added horrible bloat! Omg. When I stopped the whey with those sweeteners in it the bloat left and I’m down more lbs.
Yeah should be pinned. Marketing has made people think every brand is vastly different and that certain ones have some special properties. Protein is protein, as long as you’re getting enough it really doesn’t matter much what other nonsense is on the label
@@SilverSlugs16 Isolate is more pure protein than concentrate though. There are differences, but not reason why one brand should be more than a few dollars more expensive than the other.
@@MizzouRah78 Wow, get enough protein eating chicken, fish, beef, and eggs, after all it is the same food and same protein. Oh wait. All different foods, same protein. The protein products are all using whey, ground up seeds of many kinds, peas, and rice. Sometimes soy.
Recently I just added Protein Works to my daily protein shakes preparing for a contest - The Wondershake is amazing - love the Double Chocolate in my coffee for a morning ‘moca’ - TSV50 or TSV55 code will get you 50% under 100.00 or 55% off over 100.00 - I wasn’t sure about it at first but my taste buds changed in about 2 Days….I add one scoop of the Orgain Chocolate as well - as Im building and it adds the fiber and extra protein.
