Thanks for this! I look forward to your videos very much. And thank you for turning me on to Zach and Blind Dog Records. I did a lot of business with Brian over the decades, and I'm so happy to see Zach doing well. I've made two visits there now and came away with some treasures. I live and work up in San Luis Obispo, but I just came home from my annual NAMM Show trip and stopped by Record Collector and came away with a few great London bluebacks. I've visited there many times over the decades, so I'm well aware of Sandy's "different ways". But he has always been fair and kind to me, personally and with his pricing. I hope that Michael is doing well with his new career, and it will be great to see him on the livestream. If you ever need any help with that or someone to sub in for someone, please do let me know. Finally, I AGREE with you about Bolero. Yuck! The only redeeming part is the trombone solo, which I have played often. Cheers!
@jennifermartin8628 Hello! yes, Zack actually told me you stopped in. I'm planning on heading down again soon, I went down a couple months ago when I saw New Order/OMD in Huntington. There was a new box of like 100 Mercurys that I couldnt even look through because I had already picked out so many Deccas. Did you get that DG conductors box? As for the stream you should FOR SURE come on with us! anyone can join in, we would love to have you!
Hi. Great reviews. Currently I shelve my classical records by label, mostly because my collection consisted mostly of shaded dogs I acquired a long time ago. Now I’m getting more into classical music and my collection is growing. Do you organize by artist, composer or label? Thanks.
@toddbromgard5211 Hello, I Alphabetize by composer starting with the symphonies, then chamber works, concertos, sonatas. I also have seperate sections for soloists, alphabetized by soloist lasty name, and sections for early music and for modern/ avant garde recordings.
