Käärijä made this song to underline the fact that you don't need to be drunk out of your mind just to dance and like it. He is the best example himself, he doesn't really drink but he still has a lot of fun and wears his heart in his sleeve. He also designed the staging and the whole performance himself. He has also designed the stage show to Eurovision.

“Cha Cha Cha” is awesome 👏🏼. The more you understand the lyrics (you can find a subtitled version) and the staging, you will see how it refers to him wanting to go out, and to not be so reserved (as many Finns are), so resorting to alcohol (the song references piña coladas) to get rid of his inhibitions and enabling him to dance.

I love it so much!! Love how it talks about male anxiety when going out/ needing a drink to lower inhibitions and let go, but deciding to have fun while sober anyway, but I also adore how you can just vibe and have fun with it as well!!

Who the hell thinks "lets make a song about getting drunk on Pinacolada and champagne, and go to the eurovision" is a smart thing? ONLY IN FINLAND :P What a song this is. absolutely amazing!
