the pink reminds me oflike broken up bits of mexican calcite ! too much white will stop feeling light and bright and start feeling clinical imo

Agreed! The grout could be white, and it would also break it up. But realistically white grout, will just eventually look gross.

Estrella Saucedo honestly agree! To each their own. But grey is one of my favorite colors. I’ve always preferred cool tones, though. I think partially cause warm tones don’t look good on me, so I just grew up kind of HAVING to love cool tones more. 😂😅

Yess! I hope it doesn't look too sterile! lol I get the "vibe" shes trying but these bright white homes are usually more grey tones and colors blended to give a "bright" look. Im sure it'll turn out fine! I want to see the Pinterest boards shes saved! lol

Tamara people definitely pull it off and I’m sure of all people, Sarah will. It’s just totally not my vibe. I’m all about the dark industrial style. But I can for sure appreciate the beachy white.

Personally I can see Sarah’s vision - I painted all the walls in my flat white and everyone thought I was totally crazy but once I had put out some pale yellow and peach accents (cushions duvet cover rug) and some gold accessories (clock candles light fixtures) and heaps of green plants - everyone is obsessed and loved how I decorated it! Australia is already a warm place bright place and once she’s added the finish touches I actually think it’ll look really chic! I imagine once fox gets older he’ll want to decorate his room in his own style but so far I’m loving Sarah’s ideas! (just hoping to god she listened to kurt and Maddie and picked the flinstone tile cuz it is gorgeous and still keeps her neutral theme!)

So many people underestimate the value of a designer or architect (coming from an architect) People think they can do everything on their own and don´t understand how much work and learning goes into it. Love the series btw. Madi is doing an amazing job. I love Sarah, but I have a feeling she is not easy to work with 😅

Omg Sarah...I have a miscellaneous draw too and enough tights and bras to open a sports store and so many hoodies. I do train daily so that's my justification. Since I've been in iso I've bought so many oversized sweats, hoodies and jumpers. Ok maybe I'm bit obsessed with clothes but I don't think I hoard. I do donate my clothes or sell them on ebay but then I just buy more 😂😂😂 I blame it on storage facilities in my wardrobe. If I had better storage facilities in my wardrobe than it would maximize storage space so it looks less cluttered/less hoardy (if that's a word). U did amazing with Kurt and Fox choosing all the tiles etc. Ur choices look so good. Luv ur style. The bathtub head thing in copper reminded me abit like a wooden umbrella handle turned upside down. Hope ur having an amazing day with Kurt and Fox when u read this. ♥️♥️♥️

Hi Sarah, I’m also an interior designer for high end residential homes and we also use Wood Cut. Just keep in mind you will get big variations to the small timber sample you have to take home. I suggest ordering as many of the same timber samples as possible so you can view it at home. See in their showroom, the light coloured planks fitted together on the sample boards vary vastly. Looking forward to the finished results! How exciting x

I agree I would do the terracotta on the outside shower, also can i just ask a question. A lot of this seems to be your decisions and my this and my that. Is this a house that both you and Kurt purchased together?? I am not being weird I just noticed it. He is included but a lot of what you say is "my" so I just wondered in a nice way. I do love the home renovation series. excited to see it all come together

Definitely terracotta stone for the outdoor shower adds warmth and texture, white will just reflect too much light and the texture will be lost, the Aussie sun is so bright and you need colour variation to reflect and absorb light it different ways on surfaces to keep things feeling intentional imo. Love the interior colour scheme with the light warm neutrals and can’t wait to see the rattan in the kitchen! Sounds so stunning 😊😊

Hey Sarah, for the stone tile outside just a heads up I just put it in my bathroom and you have to be very careful about how you place the pieces together because they don’t always line up nicely and you can see the square lines. I cut up into individual pieces to try and blend the squares together more and ended up having to put a rug down to cover it up!

I loveeee the pink tile! :( I feel like the 'white on white on white' look is so overdone and already well on the way to being outdated, won't be modern at all in 5 years!
