The Seiko 5 Sport was my first nice watch at a bargain price. Next i got a Samurai. I seldom dive but now i would go for one of the 300M depth specs. The Seiko has value and style. It opened up a new interest for me too.

The "you have to see to believe @ 2:29 is so true. I remember thinking it was a nice watch, but seeing it in person gives it a whole new meaning. So beautiful in person.

I recently purchased the seiko 5 “pepsi” watch. I love it so far only thing I would change is the bracelet. Im definitely going to put the jubilee band on it. Jubilee bands just look more sharp & classy

I bought the Willard with the 6r35 and right out of the box gained 2.5 min a day! Sad. But my samurai has been perfect. My prospex solar diver has been the most accurate at -1 minute over a year!!! Amazing!

Turtle was missing..... I would have ranked the Samurai above the 5 Sports actually all of them rank above the 5 Sport. Seiko should have maintained the SKX specs at least with a screw down crown and 200M WR (even if it wasnt certified). This is where Orient gives its Big Brother a run for its money.

The Sumo has sapphire glass as well as the 62mas. The main "upgrade" is the hardened Diashield coating.

I love my Seiko I always pock one up in Jakarta on my work trips there from Seiko and a bargain. I love my SSC741P1 and SSC785P1 and a more low key the Yuto Hiragome Seiko 5. I kove JDM watches like my JDM cars.

Looking to get my first Seiko auto prospex for a while now, but it's so difficult to pick to right one especially when you buy online its hard to find the perfect size for my 7.5 inch wrist, usually I don't go under 43mm but obviously there's many other factors to keep in mind lug to lug, thickness and so on, a nice turtle or samurai is probably the way to go for me but there's so many to choose from, thx for the video

Have you ever considered the Seiko Alpinist? They released an reinterpretation thats a real good deal for the price. 20 bar water resistance, saphire crystal, 70 hours power reserve and it's Seikos first original sportswatch. Also the firts original-design by seiko. So great history and specs for a watch you can get around 600€

Bro, suggest me a good, durable, and robust watch from seiko. I'm not looking for those expensive ones. Just base to mid range will do. I'm not a diver. So i won't be requiring those built specifically for diving. I'm looking more for practicality and casual/formal wear that'll last a long time with some value.

Prestige is a level within Presage and this guy is very knowledgeable. This was probably just a slip of the tongue. If anything the slip shows that he has been around a while because the prestige models are not as common anymore. I have a couple of sarx examples and an SARW example as well. They usually have a better movements tah than that presage, sapphire crystal and way better case finishing.

A friendly word of warning to all you seiko virgins out there. Speaking from experience I find that once you have bought your first seiko it definitely won't be your last one. These watches are addiction itself!. You have been warned (in a nice way).

Unbalanced review - no mention of random Quality control . Also trying to pass off Hardlex crystal as a vintage plus point is silly. Sapphire crystal is widely used on much cheaper watches now. I have a SKX which I love but this review is too one sided.
