THANK YOU! I know its 2K16/17 but this still works!!! I can get 30-45 FPS while in cockpit with my PMDG 737 NGX and i capped it off at 50 FPS and while outside of the cockpit and i get i get nothing lower than 45! YOU ARE AMAZING! Thanks
Damm thanks, my aerosoft A320 (as we all know it takes a crap ton of fps) Before: 11-12 fps on ground and cruising and 8 fps on takeoff and landing. Now: 15-18 fps on ground and 10-12 on departure and arrival, this helps alot u earned a sub
this helped so much but still isnt as good as i thought i dont know if it is the computer or not but i have been lookin forever and am so thankfull that this bumped up my fps thank you soooooooo much :)
Thanks, this worked really well, i had worse graphics and the fps were lower, now i have turned them it is now so much faster for some reason but thanks so much it is so useful :)!
Thank you so much dude!! It works great now, and it should have worked great before as well because I have a 3.7 ghz processor and a gtx 960 graphics card, but for some reason I didn't get high fps, even with pretty low settings, but this really helped, thx alot!!
hey John..the setting was amazing and worked perfectly.. thanks a lot I just wanna know, how come you're piloting the plane so smoothly? What is the control settings that you've used?
Thanx man it works awesome now whit the ngx from pmdg and rex essential overdrive im getting beetwen 30 an 45 fps on ground and up to 60 in the air !!!! thanx men
Thanks! Worked quite well actually. However, I use an external fps limiter instead as ive heard its better than the fsx built-in one. I used to have the limiter set to 30 fps and still got a bouncy fps from 5-30. After applying your settings, the fps was 25-30 at all times more or less.
Thanks, yeah, I'll keep trying, I've also discovered that you can put in a line in the fsx.cfg folder to make it run on more cores! It's like infinitymask something :)
thanks man,it worked well for me.My system is: Dell N5110 Laptop Intel i7 2670QM 2.20 GHz(Turbo boost to 2.90) Ram : 8 GB Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 525M , 1 GB Windows 7 Home Premium I set the fps to 35 and it's good now. Thanks
Hi John,i tryed Your setting and it was great for my computer and i also got rid of the fatal error that sometimes happend. Now the frp's are on 35 -50 so i've put it on 60 and it's fine.
Awesome! Glad after all these years- it still helps! And yea- this stopped the fatal error for me too. The set values make it less likely to crash because it uses numbers that are easier for the CPU to break down.
hey, i've found that the autogen and scenery complexity settings are the worst for bad frame rates, but with both on very sparse, when i flew over new york literally the only building was the empire state building, but even on normal the frame rates slow massively. should i have autogen fairly high but complexity low?
Quick question i just started to play Fsx again because it started to not to show any aircraft when i fly in free flight. So i uninstalled it and installed it again and it still is doing the same thing. If you can help me out that would be great thanks.
Hey i have a question, I just got FSX a couple days ago and was wondering how you look around in the cockpit view??? Do you need to download something?
On what settings I can play fsx standard edition ? Acer Aspire V5 122P-0681 AMD A6-1450 Quad Core Amd Radeon HD 8250 6GB RAM 500GB HDD WINDOWS 8.1 64BIT

hi i just got an gtx 550 ti and i have an amd fx-8100 eightcore processor 2.8ghz(Overclocked 3.7Ghz).. what do u think my target frame rate should be ???
Hi John.. very nice video and was very useful as i run the fsx on a slow computer.. im not that much of a computer person.I have a small issue ,when i load up my plane everything looks perfect but after a few minutes the mcp panel and all the instructions go hazy.. it does come back to normal.. and sometimes it doesnt.. maybe i screwed up . even when i right click inside the plane i cant read anything.. can u please help?
HOW???? I am running this on notebook, and usually when I run other people's it lags like hell. EVEN THEY ARE LOW SETTINGS. WHEN I RUN YOURS MINE REACHES 30+
I got Nvidia GeForce 405 and 4GB DDR3 memory what do you think the frame rate??? I have FSX about 2 yers and i am always in the setting finding the perfect settings. I don't know what is the best frame rate. Unlimited frames its too much and 40 frames is very low. Sorry, my bad english!!!
i tried ur tutorial and it has solved my problem.. jus got a bit carried away and added a few road and sea traffic. which has made my fps real slow.. the haze has disappeared .. no problem.. but got two more error message when i was flying .. fatal error and out of memory.. ah frustrating.. can u share ur views on this please?
