As a Skincare Junkie, I would definitely say if you haven’t tried it before give the original Banila Co cleansing balm a shot. It’s got 3 size options, including a jumbo one that is around 6oz but you can almost always get at Ulta during a sales event for around or under $20 🎉 The main thing with that cleansing balm is the way you describe the Farmacy Green Clean (and how I remember it) is exactly how this applies. I love trying different skincare too but I always end up dragged back to it by my ankles from how fast and effectively it works and how it washes away so cleanly that my skin actually feels like it needs a second step cleanser. And if you’ve never tried it the Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser works wonders for my normal to dry skin. I’m also combination under the right circumstances. It’s the most gentle but effective cleanser I’ve ever tried and with the matcha and hemp that’s also in the formula I think you’d like it too, considering matcha on top of being an antioxidant has tannin in it that helps restrain oils similar to witch hazel but gentler and the hemp oil is actually great for acne prone skin

😢 I'm on a mandatory skincare reset. Dried out my eyelid skin completely (setting sprays & too much glitter/mehron), acid scraped my cheeks, and ugh, inflamed my under eye wrinkles. Nothing but boring boring boring skincare & some lippies. And some matte nude lanolips for blush/blonzer... Im living vicariously through you lol

New subscriber, have been binge watching your videos this afternoon 😅 have you tried the Beauty of Joseon red bean mask? Has the tiny beads for gentle exfoliation and clay for pore cleansing and sebum regulation. Also, I’ve heard sleeping on your back can help with smile lines especially if it’s one sided bc that’s probably the side that you sleep on the most. I know it’s hard to get used, trying to get used to it myself but it might help 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also love the Tacha overnight indigo cream! Agreed on the prequel ointment too. I have dry, acne prone skin & I’d highly recommend LIVE botanicals! Small brand out of Oregon, everything Carolyn makes is magic. Decent price point for the very high quality formulas! I love the gel face cleanser as an AM/2nd cleanse & the ambient moisture liquid for daytime moisturizer. The barrier balm is amazing for irritated chapped skin. Also, YINA ginseng face cream is expensive but truly amazing as a daytime moisturizer, and Nini organics Gaia face cream is an incredible night cream, though also expensive you only need a teeeeny amount.

Have you tried the good molecules enzyme powder? It sounds like it’s similar to the peach and lily one but it’s $16 for 2.1 oz, comes in glass, and I think it works super well!

Can you explain a little more on how you use the Tatcha Serum in Cream? I am about to try it for the first time. Should I first try it over or under my nighttime moisturizer? Can it replace my moisturizer? After my retinol? Thanks, "Dr." Kait!

I use it: 1. If my skin is REALLY irritated, I use the Sachi pro resilience serum and then the tatcha. No other products. 2. On top of moisturizer if I want extra soothing qualities. 3. Instead of moisturizer but on top of my other serums. Just play around with it and see how you like it best.

I emulsify/rub the prequel gleanser between my hands for a few seconds and it has a beautiful silky lather and definitely changes texture from when you first pump it onto your hands & straight to the face with it😊 maybe you’ve tried this but I love the lather of it!

Check out Prequel - all of their products are under $20, they're safe for sensitive skin, and most of their products are approved by the excema association. Their "Gleanser" cleanser is super hydrating and not stripping, their Urea lotion is HUGE and you can use it on your face and body (it's more lightweight so I like it for daytime,) and then at night you can always just use the same moisturizer but add something like their Skin Utility Gel on top to make it more occlusive. Sunscreen is tough for me to recommend because it's SO personal, but my favorite is the Innbeauty Sunglow Mineral SPF 45. It's super soothing, not greasy, and comes in a fair shade and a deep shade. You mentioned you’re a side sleeper, regarding your eye lid and was it mouth? issues, that might be the reason if you have a preferred side. There are special pillows out there, they’re actually working, mine is from “save my face” I take it everywhere.

56. Dry skin. New to your channel😊. Wishful has a cleanser that starts off kind of like that expensive cleanser you talked about and it reminded me of this one, then balls up, is the only way i know to describe it, all over your face to exfoliate. It might be a good substitute...non-drying, doesn't irritate my skin.

Ok so before I discovered the baba bomb cream, I was using the one from Skinfix (it pumps the same way) and I must say they feel exactly the same to me and I love them both equally. The Skinfix one also have refills.

I'm so glad you said your skin gets oily when you wear makeup. I can go without makeup all day and I don't look greasy at all. If i use exactly the same skincare products and then apply foundation I get so oily. And I was watching a Dr Dray video and she was saying products don't make you oily. I was like biiisssshhhh yes they do! 😂

How do you keep cat (or dog) hair from sticking to your lip balm overnight? Or smearing on your pillow (side sleeper here!)? Side note: I am grateful (finally) for my oily skin. I couldn't get half of those products to absorb. Basically I'm a one serum, one moisturizer kind of gal. It was fun though to watch you talk through all the potions you use. I like those Wander eye patches too.

Our dog doesn’t sleep in bed with us so I haven’t had that issue. And I’m a side sleeper too but I strangely have never noticed lip balm transfer on my pillow. Maybe because I don’t smash my face I’m, my face is tilted upwards so my lips don’t really touch the pillow except the edge

I'm glad you appreciate your oil! I usually need several serums, FOUR+ layers of heavy night cream moisturizers, each mixed with a different oil, and even then I need a balm on top in the winter. Even with this, my whole eye & upper cheek area is currently wrecked & needs a month of Vaseline, aquaphor, & lanolin before I can wear makeup again. And I do take great care of my skin (current fail is over exfoliating + cold, dry wind). I look like The Crypt keeper (do ppl still know what that was?) if I use just a light day lotion lol...my face just caves in after an hour...

I also find it difficult to find an exfoliating product that didn't irritate my skin I've tried glycolic and latic acids. I can get away with the inkey list pha a few tines a week.

Thought i had a dupe for the fancy scrub, but didnt realize the dr brandt one i got from boxycharm is $57. I think the tube is bigger but not by a lot. It is on poshmark tho, the resellers are always hard at work lol. Same concept - oil beads for ultra gentle physical exfoliation. Great product but crazy price. Btw, dr dray says chemical exfoliation is purely optional, and most derms i follow say please focus on your retinol type products over chem exfoliants, which the rest of us are abusing.

Love to find a mineral sunscreen with iron oxides but I have lighter skin then you and the ones you mentioned are still to dark. Why do they not make sunscreen in skin colors like foundations. Has to be waterProof.

Try Kelly Driscoll for Korean beauty videos. She all about no fragerence, no essential oil and no alcohol ingrediantds. I love the Illusion ceramics a to concentrate cream. The have lotion too. I have dry skin so I like the cream. She also has many product reviews.

Was your partner always open to/interested in using skincare? I can’t even convince my husband to use a moisturizer and a sunscreen (unless we are at the beach), let alone have product preferences. Try Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. I bet it will work to diminish your dark spots and won't make you red. It's pricey but I think it's better than any Vitamin C product I've ever tried.
