Honestly I think most people who are not influencers or MUA’s have maaayyyybe 2 foundations. Buying a fleet of foundations is just not realistic in this economy unless you are in the beauty industry. I find this perspective so much more relatable than a roundup of 5 favourite foundations.
I totally agree when it comes to foundations. I always wonder how some people have space for so many, and how they decide which one to use. I can have four tops and then I get overwhelmed lol. Have you tried the Tula body butter? If not I think you’d love it. It has a slight whipped cream / vanilla type of scent but it’s not super strong and the texture is the best I’ve found. Literally feels like whipped butter. Spreads easily and sinks in so you’re not sticky. Highly recommend.

@@StateofKaitI should say, it does have a bit of a fragrance. I believe from citrus oils. My skin cannot handle oils like that in leave on products, but since I wash it off, it’s never been a problem.
Not sure if this is helpful to you or not (or if you already do this!) but I had a thought re: filming videos when you have time: Record putting on your makeup every morning (or weekends, whatever). That way you have a backlog of product application shots and a few seconds of you holding up each product. I can only imagine what content creators’ skin goes through when they batch film make up reviews between taking it off, putting on the next product, etc. 😬 Also, I just found your videos last night, and I’m greatly enjoying them! I appreciate all the work you put into them, your honest takes, and detail you put into each product and video (especially when you provide commentary for people with skin tones different from yours-it’s an inclusion practice I find not enough YTers do in their videos). Oh I film makeup application clips every single day of the week, that’s the only way I can provide so much B roll! My skin is too sensitive to take my makeup off and do it again so I just film every day. It’s exhausting and an enormous amount of work, which is why most creators don’t film separate application clips. 😅 Thank you for the love!

haha don't worry, this was on the back end of my cold! During the height of it I had a red, crusty nose, greasy hair, and was totally bedridden. Didn't have energy to film for a week and a half

I have a question, I think I remember you saying you have very dry skin; well I have seriously dry skin, I can take a knife and scrape the dead skin off my legs and arms., my question is do you have recommendations on what is possibly helpful for showing and cream after. Sorry you’re’ve been under the weather 💜 I’ve been super curious about the copper peptides. It’s helpful to know you have been able to tolerate the one from the Ordinary, since I have sensitive skin too. I almost bought it during their November sale, but I have got to stick with my 3 Rx topicals right now 😆
The only time it irritates my skin is if I've compromised my barrier. In that case, most products will irritate me. But when my skin is normal, I tolerate it just fine!
Do you use the Paula’s choice sunscreen on your neck as well, or a different body spf? I get scared of tints getting on my clothes from my neck, but haven’t used a body spf yet. Really loved this! ❤️
I do use it on my neck! I don't find that it transfers to clothes unless I'm wearing a white t shirt with a high/tight neck. For that, I use Oxyclean and it gets it right out.

But that’s just cuz I like knowing what I did and didn’t like-which I add to the caption 😂😅
