Great Review thanks, We moved into the property that has the Smile B3, but not the plus version, so then limited to 17Kwh and the expansion batteries for the B3 2.9kWh are expensive. You get can get 5.0 kWh for the PLUS for similar price. The Smile5 i assume has the analytics monitoring system too? I guess i'm debating on whether to go from B3 to B3 Plus.
Hey Phil, thanks for subscribing! GivEnergy are up there with the rest but these are just the top 5 and it was hard to whittle them down. We are big fans of the GivEnergy batteries though!
The Smile AlphaESS B5 you said offers 10 year warranty for both product and performance, however you then post contradictory statistics in the pro/con datasheet as it is only 5 years product and 10 year performance. Their own site states the latter is true. Does this affect your rating as a number one product? I am seeking longevity given the costs.
The standard warranty for the AlphaESS B5 battery is 5 years product and 10 performance, but we get an extended warranty, so it's still 10 years for both product and performance if you buy it through us. We know how important the warranty can be when you're investing in this technology 🙂
Yes you definitely can. We're now offering the Givenergy battery that'll be paired with Enphase microinverters. If you're looking to get one installed check out our free quote tool 👀heatable.co.uk/solar/quote
powervault told me that they dont do the P3 anymore,? they've gone to the P4. I have a 4 kwh P3 eco and they said recently they couldnt upgrade it with new batteries ro increase the capacity. Not impressed with that service but the battery has been good, not without teething problems tho. In the end I got a 9kwh Givenergy for about half the cost they were quoting a 6kwh P4.
What the hell you on about there is not such thing as an ac battery. Just piles of made up jargon to confuse the customer. I would not touch your company with a barge battery.
