This video just like many others has been so helpful!! My boyfriend and I will be visiting Italy this June and plan to take the train from Rome to Venice! Truly appreciate all that you do!!
Correction? You've said at 1:39 ... Vaporetto from VCE airport to Venice city. There is no Vaporetto in VCE, it is Alilaguna. Yes, it has 2 lines, orange and blue.
Hello. We are flying to Marco Polo and staying in Venice for 3 days. We’ve then got to get to Trieste port for a cruise. What is the best way to get from Venice to the port of Trieste? Great video! Thank you
I will be going to Rome in two weeks and wanted to take a train for a day trip to Venice. The only day we can go is Sunday. Are most things closed in Venice on Sunday or is it worth going? Thanks so much
Thank you again for your informative video regarding transferts from the airport to Venice. All sounds easy but I’m sure once there it won’t be that easy especially after traveling for 16 hours, in my case arriving from California. I’ll be traveling starting my trip to Italy with Venice and I’m still looking for good prices for lodging. I did see Mestre, cheaper lodgings but traveling alone would be too much to go back and forth to Venice, especially staying a short period of time. Thank you for any inputs you’ll have.
Hi, great video and very informative. I will be docking in Ravenna this August and will be going to Venice for 2 days and flying out of Venice. I was wondering if there's a direct public bus I can take from Ravenna to Venice? I know it will probably take longer, but it's also much cheaper. If so, do you know which bus company (or line) it is and where it will drop me off in Venice?
Thank again for the info! If we decide to take thee water-taxi from the airport to our hotel located at Giudecca Stucky are they going to charge about 150 euros for each person or for the three of us? Does Alilaguna run all vaporetti in Venezia? I was told that even if I purchase the ticket online with Alilaguna, I need to get the ticket at one of their biglietterie.
Hello Dennis thank you for your email. The taxi fare is per boat. Some taxi charge a little extra per additional passenger, you should ask the driver before getting on board. You’ll need to buy another vaporetto ticket for the lines in the city, the day pass is the most convenient if you take the vaporetto often.
@@sophisticatedmm3632 Also for lunch go to this place that is wonderful for typical sandwiches: Bar Alla Toletta it gets really really busy so go there a bit early
So we are arriving at Marco Polo airport and was wondering if we take express bus to Piazza La Roma is it safe to have luggage in under compartment like how safe ?Then from there to take Vaporetto to San Stae which is area where our hotel is What would you suggest ?
@@TravelAddictsLife we are staying in Ca Bonvicini BB per owner best way to reach is by Alilaguna it stops at San Stae snd from there is 5 min walk ,but I am concern with length of that trip from airport as we land at 7 pm ,it would be late by the time we get there ,trying to get faster option ,not sure if vaporeto goes from Piazza La Roma to that stop so we are so confused Thank you so much as we have watched all your videos and the are so helpful
