*Exactly* how I have been reheating the french fries, in a pan... although I use canola oil.

This was actually first suggested to me by my grandmother! Having lived through the Great Depression, they learned to save everything. Food was never wasted for the rest of their lives, and I have followed this principle.

The super EZ way to re-heat a burger is to put what's left of it in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 mins wrapped in aluminum foil from oven cold! I repeat. Cold oven, wrapped in foil, put in there for 10 mins - maybe 12 and enjoy. If it's an entire burger you didn't get to enjoy give it 18 mins from cold, but it should be as fresh as new :)

I like how you said to remove the lettuce and tomato etc. from the burger when re-heating in a MW but you left tomatoes on it.

The problem with McDonalds fries is they get hard when they cool. Don't care for hard fries.

I do not go to 5 guys has when we went we were greater by two guys shaking a tip jar and when we did not tip our burger was not up to par so never went back.
