Anyone new to this video and still having issue with 900° steering rotation set advanced controls to default and change outside steering dead zone to 50 and force feedback to 1.2 this is what I use on my logitech g923
Yo great video! So well done and I appreciate that you showed examples and explained in plain, simple terms what each setting does. I have been messing with these settings a lot and my understanding of what some of them did, was wrong apparently. I have it set so it feels pretty good when driving offroad/drifting, but at lower speeds, and with lifted vehicles, the wheel feels floaty and vague, kinda like there is no ffb whatsoever, between the 11:00 and 1:00 position on the wheel. This is especially true in lifted cross country vehicles. It basically feels like there is little to no ffb in the wheel. Like you're steering on a cloud. I will definitely use this new understanding to attempt to dial in some better settings and hopefully make each different type of vehicle/terrain more uniform in terms of its feel. Thanks!!
Thanks for this! I have the same wheel and have tinkered quite a bit with the settings. Your vid was very detailed and will help a lot of people perfect their settings. Oh, and.... Do you mostly Drift, Race, Drag, Offroad, Rally with these settings? I'll admit I mostly jump into Horizon 5 to drift around the open world. So maybe this is the reason for the difference in our settings. But I will give your settings a try if they feel better when I'm drifting.
Only have 1 question ! Does the base mounted on the desk make the screen shake and everything on yhe desk or is it just the wheel. Thanks for that video by the way i'm being this wheel for christmas, this will be goated 🔥🔥🔥👊 Also Xdefiant and MW3 are coming out very soon so i'll probably play the f out them + the new rainbow six siege season all of that to say i wont have a lot of time. If i only care about physics ? FH5 or MotorFest ?
Yes the base mounted does make the screen shake + the desk as well… you’ll need to have a sturdy desk to make sure this doesn’t break it- AKA I’d be wary of an IKEA desk- but tbf my desk is just a $150 desk… it is pretty solid though because it’s using a square frame. My screen shakes- it’s on a monitor arm/ vesa mounted but to me it adds to the realism :D One thing for sure- the desk mount option on this is very sturdy- the mount is strong- it’s just that your desk has to be too-- I use mine on full 11NM on my desk just fine. Make sure to not OVER tighten btw. There’s an official Logitech Video on this. I would say play Realism/Physics - Assetto Corsa Competizione Eyecandy/Car Collector/decent physics - Forza Horizon 5 I haven’t play Motorfest so I can’t tell- it looks more arcady though than FH5
