@@GenerationWest what about the animation? i felt like that they lost their budget at some points, and at other points it feels really jerky. i also felt like certain plot points didn't really get resolved appropriately at the end, like the big battle happens and then Heron was with his friends, and there wasn't much aside from that. it was jarring for me at least story wise. and I'm sorry, i love Seraphims character and his design, but at the end when he did is Star Wars episode 3 Darth Vader yell, for some reason i just bursted out laughing.

Only time it was good was when they had MONSTER, Gurren Lagann, and Eureka Seven (even though I don't quite like it)...as always, Anime to the rescue because at least the Japanese still have childish wonder in their adult years.

That's why I kinda appreciated The 2010s Looney Tunes show for adding a fake shadow on the characters.

I hate how the Warners are colored. They're 1930s cartoon characters. Their white parts should be _white,_ not reddish.

I have the same opinion but since going back and watching the old series I have come to appreciate the new one in some ways as well. like I thought the thin lines were annoying but it's not like the old ones were much better, because paired with the coloring it became hard to see the details of the faces in some scenes. Also I hated the new backgrounds at first, since they looked flat. And while I still think the old ones are better at depth, the old ones were had worse colors, they had more muted color palettes that against the warner 3, made them look like ghosts. Also I just like the sleeker art style better in new one but that's just me.

So that is why it feels so weird to me even though the animation is smooth, they have no shadows

The real better version of "The Problem Solverz", created by the same guy of that Cartoon Network show, has been aired on FXX as part of Fox's ADHD animated block. It was called "Stone Quackers".

@Ale N.O I like that about him. It's kind of refreshing having a cartoon reviewer that doesn't absolutely trash bad shows and actually bothers to find good things to say about them and their creators. I recall the part of his Nutshack review where he takes a moment to talk about the creator's cool urban aztec art business. That was neat. Compare it to MrEnter stirring his fanbase to harrass a Spongebob's writer over a bad episode a couple of years ago. Pan is the only cartoon reviewer that I can stand currently. Most of the others take themselves so fucking seriously that make me cringe a little.

Fun fact: Over the Garden Wall was originally going to be 18 (or 20) minutes long, and have a lot more seasons.

Id prefer Over The Garden Wall over Infinity Train because Its more simplistic and I have a love for Vintage aesthetic and creepy forests and Antler manbeasts. Season 1 of infinity train was kinda sucky imo😑😒

Can you tell me what Cleopatra in space is about? I've heard and seen some clips of the show, but I don't have the streaming site it's on and I don't know what's about.

Both the cartoon and the graphic novel series are about a teenage Cleopatra being transported by magic tablets to the future, where a military school discovers she is prophesized to save the galaxy from an evil tyrant know as Octavian. That’s all I can say without spoiling, but the comic and cartoon are pretty different after that.

I think what they meant is that they did all their rendering using Azure instead of having their own render farm, still not that impressive without any kind of stats about how long it took.

​@@Bloogeyz ...sorry, but from you and my perspective that wouldn't matter either: CG scenes used to take weeks to render. A modern farm probably only takes hours to minutes if they're sitting on the thousands of cards in their farm that I think they have. Hell, we're at the beginning of real-time raytracing (with tricks in Games, but 100% real in-tool like Blender) so it probably isn't that long with how much money MS can throw at things.

Final Space is hilarious given it's supposed to be a TBS show. But it airs on Adult Swim first so it's like.........pretty much most people are gonna watch it on Adult Swim.

It's always gotta be a comedy that either: a) contains a cast of characters where every one is an irredeemable asshole and/or b) has over used and over done drug references. The country of origin is rather arbitrary, the fact that you can show someone a screenshot from ten different shows and they will accurately guess that all the shows are anime is a sign that the style transcends the simple language barrier.

For that Bobbleheads movie, the movie's writers are also Disney veterans. Karl Geurs was one of the writers for The New Adventures Of Winnie the The Pooh and Goof Troop. Tab Murphy worked on many Disney movies like Hunchback Of Notre Dame and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, though he's also worked on WB projects like Batman: Year One, Thundercats 2011, and Justice League Action.
