The musical cues on the bee cave jumps were so good I was genuinely emotional I think I felt more tension in that final jump than I've ever felt in an actual star wars movie
The video originally stopped loading for me at 3:32 when Maso said “What I enjoy about this is..” and I genuinely thought he spent 30 seconds trying to find something enjoyable about this game

If all you wanted to do was spend 20 minutes doing nothing but on rails flying/speeder bikes with those weird kinda lame "boss fights".....The SNES games were a hell of alot better, they had variety and, took more than 15-20 minutes to play through....Gameplay>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Graphics
Not sure why anyone would play the NES versions of New Hope and Empire, the SNES Super Trilogy games were so much better....The NES versions come off like an after thought for the kids too poor to have an SNES but had a NES.
Hopefully the legendary tatooine bee, snail and boulder make an appearance in book of Boba fett episode 7 to reveal they are the main antagonist for season 2, leading to their much bigger role in the next star wars trilogy.

I haven't indulged in much of the expanded materials, but I utterly jive me some _Tales of the Bounty Hunters_ and IG-88. Poor bastard, swapped into the _Death Star II_ ...right before the RotJ finale. Long mechanical sigh.
My favourite part of Caravan Of Garbage is when the theme music plays while James and Mason do a simple jump (I believe that also happened during the Jurassic Park game)
I already watched the NES one, but I'm still so goddamn happy every time you finally conquer the Tatooine bees and pitfalls to fetch the lightsabre from Ben. Having recently acquired a Mini SNES Classic with 235 games on it - including the Star Wars ones - I can honestly say those games are So. Much. Fun. I also had an Atari 2600 back in the day, while my richer friends were already on the SNES, so it's a bit of childhood wish fulfilment for me now.
I was scrolling through Caravan of Garbage, saw this video, saw that I had started it but stopped. I then decided to continue watching the video, and it opened to James grunting and Mason laughing, and I was instantly intrigued again
I can honestly say I stopped watching the first of these films when it was released because it reminded me why I stopped playing the game on my gameboy. Kudos to Mr Sunday Movies for his tear inducing fortitude!
If anyone wants to play a much better version version of NES Star Wars I highly recommend the Master System version. Pretty much a better version in all respects.
Star Wars is the Gundam of America; Tonnes of video games over the years yet you can likely count the # of good ones on one hand. Meaning there are 5 or less good Gundam / Star Wars games in existence. Star Wars got more decent or better games in the last 5yrs while Gundam only got a few decent games when they would outright try to nick a pre-existing game like Street Fighter 2 and/or Virtual On and swap out the original characters for various Gundams (i.e. Ryu essentially becomes Wing-Zero, or the Temjin becomes the protagonist Gundam from Turn-A Gundam or something) and its amazing that virtual on ripoffs didn't work because Hajime Kotaki designed all the mecha for virtual on (he who spearheaded the official updates for the RX-78, RX-178, and my personal favorite, the RX-178mk2 titans edition (#AEUG #Represent)
Dang, these look just gawd-awful. I wonder if they're slightly less horrid on actual hardware instead of the laggy emulator you're using, which is almost certainly responsible for a whole bunch of pit deaths you had...
This games got it all, bad graphics, bleep bloop sound effects, hard to control, no idea what I'm doing, not fun, I'm being killed by an death star super laser. It's everything I've ever wanted.
Wait... how are you playing the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade Game? I have yet to get that rom to work. I thought it wasn't possible (even though it should be and apparently is!).
If you guys are playing an emulator, don't feel bad about your performance. Emus are notorious for their latency; can really screw with your jump timing.
