I cried real tears when Daniel Logan, the man who plays Boba Fett, appeared on the screen and said "All other opinions are invalid, especially those of Nick Mason."
It's cool when people do that for RU-vidrs. But to be fair, Logan didn't play Boba Fett. Boba Fett was played by Jeremy Bulloch. He was later played in a flashback by Logan and now by Temura Morrison. Film revisionism sucks and disrespects the contributions of those who originally worked on those films.
@@ScooterinAB That's stupid. He played Boba Fett 100%. People before him and after him can also play or have played Boba. Doesn't mean he didn't play Boba. Also he didn't play him in a flashback. Prequels are full movies.
'The reason I escaped is... Being a clone trooper sucks. We're all in CGI armour, marching in unison. You've seen Attack of the Clones. It's not a good movie.' I never have empathized more with a clone trooper.
I love the “we’re reading a story from this comic, but we’re gonna put our summaries into the comic speech bubbles!” Gems like when Leia’s defending Han’s attitude: *“he’s not feeling well/just blew up the Death Star like 15 minutes ago/got a lot on his mind/he’s got brain damage.”*
I love how Mason joked about Jango going to kill himself but James is like "Yes" and he screams "WHAT?" Then Mason says "I'm picturing a cowboy hat, don't correct me." but once again James surprises him once again by affirming that Cad Bane does indeed have a cowboy hat. Once again Mason can only cry out "WHAT!?" in sheer disbelief at his own intelligence.
they have to start do comic book readings like this, once every week. I can't be the only one in here that wants that, there must be at least 2 or 3 other people in here who would like that to happen
I do believe you get very similar episodes on Big Sandwich with their Comic Book Club show, so I don’t think we’ll be getting that anytime soon because all the episodes they could do they can do on their show and get paid for it
According to clone wars one of the reasons R2-D2 is so special is because Anakin doesnt ripe his memories like other Jedi after each mission. So he just has vast pool of info and exp unlike other driods like him.
@@altonb.1396 yes, so if a driod gets captured they can't get much from it. Which is why it was a big problem when R2-D2 was captured once, the other Jedi didn't care until Anakin wad like R2-D2 has a shit ton secrets. I belive in the end of that episode he still refused to ripe his memories
R2D2 in episode 4: "Wait, this kid's name is Luke Skywalker? He's probably the son of Anakin Skywalker, who also came from this planet. That's Darth Vader's real name, by the way." C-3PO: "That is so ridiculous, I won't even bother to translate that to English and will never mention it to anyone."
@@altonb.1396 Droids in Star Wars need constant memory wipes or they start going a bit crazy. The AI can't handle too much at once or they get all homicidal. Has nothing to do with keeping secrets from the enemy, like these other people seem to think.
(11:55) I never noticed that you can actually see the shadow of Jango's head come flying out of his helmet in AotC. I always thought it was kind of gross that Boba picked up his dad's helmet with his severed head still in it.
Watched 10 minutes before realising that I've seen these before. Utter disappointment... that I didn't click like sooner. Hope these compilations keep coming.
Since Boba Fett ages normally, rather than accelerated like the rest of the clone troopers, it sure was lucky that he matched exactly in age to those young clones in that episode...
Is it really that hard to track Han Solo? I bet the other bounty hunters were like where can I find han solo? Literally any bar in the galaxy? Nah he's probably at the local space charity center or at a school helping out kids let me check there.
Watching these together i realized Mason has made two, out of the blue guesses, that turned out to be right. That Boba Fett was hired to assassinate himself, and that Cadd Bane (?) wore a cowboy hat. Maso's got some good instincts when it comes to Boba.
@15:52 I believe Aurra Sing seemingly died/left in a hopeless situation every time we left her on the show. Wouldn't be surprised at all if she survived the Beckett encounter as well. Falling down a cliff even sounds like something she previously survived on the show. Though actually collecting on the bounty would mean she needed strong falsified evidence. Something my head cannon says she could manage. She may not bring in every bounty. But she survives to tell the tale always.
2:07 It’s crazy how Mason made a joke saying Jango must’ve had an Alpha clone son before Boba, but now with Bad Batch they straight up classify Boba as Alpha and his sister as Omega.
Bobas name is actually now cannonically code named alpha by the kaminoans as the perfect clone of jango, with omega in the bad batch series being the second attempt names omega, they were so close to actual information by just shit talking
14:30 ...and that was by no accident. Filoni has said in interviews that Ahsoka was made to be purposely annoying at the start so that her character growth would make the audience come to like her as she dealt with the struggles on not only becoming a Jedi, but having Anakin Skywalker as her master.
Keep the compilations coming, mate. It saves me having to click on video after video or, even worse, watching a playlist. It’s either instant COG or death!
Wait the "I have 3 credits, get me out of here Boba Fett" plot twist is from an episode of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command show... why do I still remember that?
So interesting to watch this now. For example, it’s mentioned that stun is rarely used but now the Bad Batch uses almost exclusively stun. Or the proposal we’d see Cad Bane fight Boba in the final season of the clone wars which we didn’t. I’m holding out hope we’ll see it in The Bad Batch.
59:02 For any pedants who want to pronounce it correctly, Temuera (which means Powerful Leader) is pronounced: teh-mu-EH-rah. The first and third vowels are as "Best". The Mr Sunday guys get it mostly right, except for giving the second sylable a "Myur" sound, where it should be "Moo".
“Super Powerful Wookee Force” had me in tears laughing the 8th time I rewatched it. Drink water at your own risk of choking while watching, ask me how I know, lol. @34:48
I just watched the Bourne trilogy for the first time last week and this caravan of garbage has been on my watchlist for 2 years. At the 10:00 mark when the Bourne song started playing I actually cried laughing. Ben strikes again!
Having only skipped the the last bit because _I'm running out of night,_ but gotta put my hat in for _Tales of the Bounty Hunters._ I haven't taken up much Star Wars supplementary material, but I was right fond of that compilation.
LOVED seeing you on my favorite star wars youtuber's channel the other day! Alex and Mollie are always an absolute delight. Plus, I love this content right now. Perfect timing of course.
Just want to say I'm so glad to have discovered you guys, been low recently and you guys have cheered me up and escape reality for a bit which is nice, keep up the awesome work 😁
29:06 CHEES-US CRUST that noise came outta nowhere! Totally freaked me out!! Maybe because it was so loud? Or because it sounds so disconnected from the video-- I mean, for a second there, I thought someone was trapped in my vent!! Am I alone here? ... About the noise being scary, not people being stuck in vents
For Clone Wars story arcs to watch: -The Second Invasion of Geonosis (starting with Season 2 “The Landing at Point Rain”, -Mortis (starting with Season 3 “Overlords”), -Umbara (starting with Season 4 “Darkness on Umbara”), -Return of Darth Maul (Last 4 episodes of Season 4, first episode of Season 5 as well as episodes 14-16), -Ashoka Leaves the Order (last three episodes of Season 5) -The Order 66 Conspiracy (first four episodes of Season 6) -The last four episodes of season six. Not really following any specific plot, but they’re still really good. Yoda researching force stuff. -The Siege of Mandalore (starts with Season 7 “Old Friends not forgotten”). These 4 episodes are honestly some of the best Star Wars content ever produced. A perfect balance of action and emotion that ends the show on an all time high.
So in the context of his career… the folk dancing and incest line from Christopher Lee is probably talking about acting in general and the choosing of roles… This seems to make the most sense to me, especially considering the earlier quote about being the best actor you can be even in objectively shitty movies… like, it’s one thing if people think you’re a vampire, some people might even think that’s pretty cool. But effectively humanizing folk dancers and practitioners of incest, that can have far more unambiguously bad effects on your personal life and reputation as an actor.
I don't have any trivia to share. I just wanted to say I appreciate your conflict between the desire for engagement in the comments and the desire not to have bits of trivia thrown at you that you already know but left out because they're boring as. So here's a little trivia-free algorithm tickle from me to you. Cheers.
The Book Of Boba Fett; Chapter One Breakdown:- This one-off show highlights what happened to Boba Fett after he fell into that Sarlacc Pitt in “Return Of The Jedi”. Expecting a sprinkling of guest cameos from other Star Wars characters such as Din Djarin @ The Mandalorian, Omega from The Bad Batch, Ahsoka Tano, etc. In The Mandalorian; Season 2, we saw Boba fully dressed like a Tusken Raider. Even his choice of weapon is a Gaderffii / Gaffi Stick. I believe this serial will showcase how he rises through their ranks via flashbacks whilst in the Bacta Tank. As well as solidifying his position as a self-appointed Crime Lord of Tatooine - replacing Jabba The Hut. Also, his sidekick: Fennec Shand seems more attuned to Tatooine’s underworld culture. Boba himself has undergone a morality shift - more benevolent and merciful after emerging from that Sarlacc Pitt. My prediction is that this show shall introduce at least one completely brand new main character to the Star Wars Universe. Fingers Crossed! The Book Of Boba Fett; Chapter Two Easter Eggs ... That black furred Wookie is called Black Krrsantan - a bounty hunter from Star Wars comics Closely associated to Doctor Chelli Aphra - an archaelogist also from the comics. Praying that this female Indiana Jones character makes a live-action leap for the very first time! Actress Sophie Thatcher has been cast in an undisclosed role; your guess is as good as mine ... :) This Sophomore Episode is longer and way better than its Pilot. That train heist scene is reminiscent of so many spaghetti western armed robberies via horseback as well as “Lawrence Of Arabia”. These Tusken Raiders, spice, their surroundings, Pyke Syndicate oppression and way of life are synonymous with The Fremen from “DUNE”.
