Having just done this install, the video is so much more helpful than the included instructions. A tip….before assembling the the support bars, reek the bar button holes so they pop out when the bars mate AND file the burrs inside so they slide together more easily. Great vid, thanks.
I like the softtopper one a tad better because the cross bar at the tail gate always has to be removed if you're trying to get into the bed or get something out but i will admit the window attaches to this bar is better than the velcro that softtopper uses which i never had issue with so for whatever that's worth
That's good feedback. I've been going back and forth between the two, but finally went with this top over the Softopper because I was worried about that velcro on the back window. I think there will always be compromises either way because I like the Softopper profile slightly better than this one. But having the option for either is nice and I think they both look good!
Did you say your “stuff” in the back made it to your destination clean and dry, but, the “stuff” did not make it back clean and dry??? I ordered from you the “Twill”, was this the “twill” version?? Thank you for the great vids you provide!!
I own this top does not keep dust or water out well. On the sides water can seep in and dust will get in too. I've own this for over 4 months and was properly installed. However. I still like it and will figure a solution for the water seeping and dust.
Nothing to do with the best top, but there’s huge gaps where the bed closes to the truck. I’ve thought of trying to use some sort of rubber seal type of thing there so the bed closes up tighter on the sides/inside.
What if you want to swap back and forth between a tonneau and this soft top? I noticed the double sided tape step, which indicates its a put on stay on?
Thanks for the video. I am considering changing from a hard shell bed topper to a soft sided topper. This one appears to have a tailgate bar that is not easily removed for accessing the bed of the truck. is that true? I understand opening the tailgate is easy, but would that tailgate bar in the way? Thanks again.
I am very interested in this for the ski season. I'm a big fan of my Bestop Sunrider. Most of the reviews I have read indicate that the inside gets wet. Also I am interested in the ease of operation of tailgate and if anyone has experience with the noise level, flapping. I don't need perfection in any of these areas and am willing to make trade-offs, but any insight would be appreciated.
Hey Thanks for the video, I was working on the install of bestop super top for truck 2 but I found that when I install the rails the trunk latch does not close and I have to push it hard for closing. Can you please let me know if that is correct and if not how can I correct it?
Looks like a great unit but how difficult is it to open the tailgate and back flap with the bar? Can it be done quickly like a softopper or does the bar have to be removed every time?

This is a horrible product. The sides don’t stay in the tracks and end up loose all the time. Don’t waste your money. It’s a good idea, but a bad version.
@@northridgenation Nothing at all against your company or service, I am sure you guys are great. All I am saying is that this product is not worth getting because it won't even stay on.
