I thought it time to add one for racing fans, here you have ''Bet Like A Pro: Ten Trainers To Follow (Learn & Profit)''
Take note:
This data was correct at the time of filming!
The Racing Post was used for simplicity.
The numbers are based on the starting price (SP). For anyone with sense, you are getting higher odds on the exchanges and by line shopping.
BETTING IS ALL ABOUT THE ODDS
The Ten Trainers (non-ordered)
WILLIAM HAGGAS: Longevity, consistency, preparation, and experience are enough for me to make him the number 1.
KEVIN RYAN: Worked hard at building a strong stable. If you are looking for everyday racing, keep an eye on the Yorkshireman.
RALPH BECKETT: More upmarket, but the results speak for themselves. We like to keep this operation on the right side.
OWEN BURROWS: Very astute trainer. While he won't over-face them, the Uncle Fester lookalike can be relied upon.
JANE CHAPPLE-HYAM: While her philosophy takes a bit of understanding, profiting from stable runners is a foregone conclusion.
CHARLES HILLS has an incredible strike rate considering the league he's playing in. When a trainer is hitting a long-term profit at SP with mainly handicappers - take away the 20% over-round and what do you have?
OLLIE SANGSTER worked for Wesley Ward, and you can see how he gets his two-year-olds ready - Big trainer in the making!
JAMES OWEN: Mixed Yard with a Dan Skelton feel. Expect this trainer to be a star of the near future.
JAMES MOFFATT: If the numbers don't get you respecting this yard - you don't know anything about racing. An astute trainer who is vastly over-rated.
SYD HOSIE: I like to keep Syd on the right side - he's building a nice string, and they are always trying!
