Just finished a cine whoop build and installed 4.3 with RPM filtering. I just disabled and flew 2 packs in my backyard then enabled and flew 2 packs in the front yard. I don't get it cause I remember how much better it made my race kwad on 4.2 ... but for some reason I like the cine whoop without it. Just looked at the 4K video also and it proves that it wasn't just a feeling... the video is better... not sure why... but dropping it for now.
based on the graphs that bobble when you drop throttle is pretty low freq. Since it's tied to throttle I wonder if antigravity is too high pushing the system momentarily into oscillation. I dont know how AG works these days so Im speculating here
1 of my quads the rpm filter drains my battery fast and gets real hot turn it off quad is fine same settings on all my other quads are fine different esc though speedybee bs heli 45 amp
I destroyed 3-4 motors and possibly the ESC today after I enabled bidirectional DShot and the drone brought the motors to 100% throttle on its own in a disarmed mode. I explain it in my new video. But i have not flashed my ESCs with BlueJay. Maybe this was my mistake ?
My gut is saying my f4 flies better on 8k8k dshot 600 and sounds better than 8k4k dshot300 with rpm. Imma tune it further and really see because it's a tanq frame I'm gonna try learning 3D with and already turtled enough to start making 3d printed armor.
🙌🏽🔥Quality content! I love BF 430 defaults and this is part of the A/B testing I don't have time for, but wan to do, and the meaning quick flight analysis. Dare I say... I learned something today and it's been a while. 🤓 Jumping to the detailed analysis flight. Considering #patreon for real as I want this info sooner than later😜Thank you for sharing.
pardon my ignorance because i'm just now delving into the weeds of tuning. But wouldn't you want RPM filtering for freestyle as well. I know that I, and many other freestyle pilots often fly pretty rough props whether that is because you are cheap (me) or you need to fly back from a crash. wouldn't those extra vibrations be amplified by the D term and cause poor performance and oscillations?
Oh and my answer to the question…antigravity. It’s when you chop throttle and go to zero and that’s when it does it’s job so it’s gotta be too high maybe?
@@uavtech yeah, seems like the most of the filtering was still landing on the dterm filters since the motor band was just barely being touched. Also you stacked all those notches down low and that can't be good
