BetaFPV Cetus Pro why I kind of don't want to review it

Would you recommend HX115 LR Toothpick Drone with literadio 3 insted of cetus pro kit?

I'm having some fun with my Cetus pro. It's my first FPV drone. In Normal and slow mode it was a bit difficult to start. Now I'm flying in sport mode and made my own yard. Circuit. For me it's a good way to learn FPV. I know that I will learn a Manual and fast mode, and that little low price quad won't be enough, them I would go for something faster and powerful and won't get frustrated by crashing at the first.

I was honestly hoping to find someone who would do a full honest review on this including seeing what it can do at its limits in acro. I purchased this kit myself to get me by while I saved to get the big stuff to replace my old stuff that got stolen 🥺 I've crashed mine into a pool on second flight. It took a full dive and was submerged for almost a minute 5ft under. After that incident, my fourth flight was at a park and I don't realize how much dirt was at the park. The motors weren't too happy🤦‍♂️ Even after all of that, it still flies like a champ! I still don't know how to tell if me literadio 2 see is elrs compatible, or only set up for frsky. Can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere. I just want to know what the limits are to this thing because I'm trying things in acro and I'm not sure if it's even capable😅

I've had the Cetus X kit for almost 2 months now. It's been a great intro to flying. Already got a couple of antenna on the way for upgrades, but I am pondering some better goggles (i guess my eyes got old) Anyway, I guess that's the point of this kit; to tease you into then spending more on your next piece of gear..

I see alot of JB's older BetaFPV reviews, man they must have really pissed in your cornflakes. I was just about to order a Cetus X, guess I wont. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm glad that you have given a neutral comment on this about the quality issue as I've been the unlucky one that the drone flew like a wild horse and I originally thought it was the controller issue as the controller's signal is dancing even the stick remain the same position, then bought a Radiomaster TX16S to connect to it and found out it still got the issue. Anyway, I've bought the Flywoo Cinerace20 now and awaiting all parts arrive to restart all again. Unfortunately, I was influenced by other KOL and thought this is a good starter in the playground to train up the stick skills.

Cetus Pro is nice little flyer, but battery is an issue: when I fly in Acro (Manual mode) it hold 1 - 2 minutes ((

I just unboxed the Cetus pr and I'm having vtx problems. It work right when I power it on but when I start flying it cuts out and then the vtx signal is gone I can scan and scan and nothing. Do you possible have any idea why that is?

Hi what you guys said is so true mr.bardwell said if you buy that betafpv cetus pro or anything in that line you take a chance of it dieing in the first week well I'm one of thoes people I bought a cetus pro kit from beta fpv and within the first week it died and let me tell you I fought with them for 3 months to get a replacement and then the next drone I bought as well the first week it had issues the meteor 75 pro now since they sent me out the replacements the REPLACEMENTS have not had any issues yet shocking but another thing they lie about is that they say the Cetus pro or the Meteor 75 pro can be flowen outside in wind well let me tell you thats 100% BS yes very little wind but if you get strong enough wind to lets say blow off a baseball cap from someone's head then NO you can't and I love to fly now I'm kind of stuck learning what drone I need to fly in the wind I get in my area and let me tell you its pissing me off big time I need help with this because I can't afford to loose another $300.00 canadian on a drone that will not fly outside even though it says it does I can't belive that anynore .

I bought cheapest version there is just to get the feeling of fpv... i hope to get enough experiance to build and fly 5" freestyle in the future.

My Cetus Pro proved to be very problematic. The connection between the drone and goggles (Fat Shark Attitude V6) was lost jest less than 10m away. The drone (or the controller) frequently got out of control. The drone could suddenly ascent or descent. Many times the drone just lands by itself. It once nearly landed into a water tank. It has been very unreliable ever since its first flight. BTW, anyone successfully tried to bind this Cetus Pro with a RadioMaster TX12 or TX16s? What protocol is it? Thanks.

For me I did buy this without watching this and I agree it’s flash a red light 3 times constantly every time I plug in the battery and I get video feed back from my goggles but no matter what I do I can’t get it to stop or bind it dose not go into bind mode when I hit the button just keeps flashing red three times over and over again and not even had it 2 days super upset about it my advice don’t ever buy a kit or drone from them as a beginner

How do you set the trim on it mine drifts to the right and battery only lasts for about 3 minutes very dissipointed.

Hey Joshua , I see Your Point but I want you to nortice that the Betafpv Support was getting much much better in the last few month. So I have testet both , the cetus and the Pro version, they sent me to review, what I did, and I really need to say this quad has its Downsides and its Good sides, I told them too. The durabilty is insane but the electronic ... if it works it works , I had no issues at all even after more than 100 crashes, but I also know a lot of people they lost VTX connection after first crash and there comes the Downside : the Parts are not single availible and thats Bullshit for a beginner quad there is a need for to get every Part replaced if I break it and not that I need to buy a new Quad. The only downsides to this drone is the battery life and I guess…goggle quality, but for the price I’m still digging it. I also noticed that whenever I put it on M Mode (Acro)+fast or medium…the lipo just juices out sooooo fast. Even after landing a few times, and watching the vol run up, This quad is designed to auto land at a certain point. I am not figured out how to disable this feature….at this point in time. How can I do this? Anyone out there know? Still Love the drone, get it.
