It's so cool a budget radio like this can get you out a mile or so lol. ELRS is such a new exciting addition to the hobby. Betafpv was smart to get in the ELRS game early. Very cool Albert you have been my go to source to learn about ELRS and the newest stuff coming out. Thanks for all you do man!

I got the grandkids the lite 2 se, it's holding up. It's a decent cheap radio. For frsky d8 protocol the Radiomaster T8 (not pro) is a very good value. $40 on banggood, I grabbed it during a flash sale on RDQ for $25. It is pretty cool the betaFPV radio can have elrs built in. Maybe frsky protocols will be done and gone soon. Especially D8. Happy flying Albert 🤓

With ELRS popularity on the rise especially on tinywhoops it's a good step for them to move towards it on the radio. I'd love to have internal upgrade for tango 2 for having both crossfire and 2,4GHz ELRS

So far my LiteRadio2 SE is working well with the whoops I fly. Looks like upgrading for $20 is a nice deal. Maybe later when I upgrade my whoops to ELRS too.

That's a great price for $40!!! For that price, I wouldn't complain if I could only fly a block away. My first and only radio is a Tango 2 V3, but this would be well worth the price to have for those little indoor whoops. I didn't know these were that inexpensive. Thanks for another great video

I flew it on the hx115lr. Which worked flawless. It is a little less precise than my Tango 2 but a great beginner radio. Unfortunately I was unable to upgrade the firmware but it works. I just bought a second one to check the issue and I lended my set to a beginner to have some fun with it. Good buy.

Thanks for sharing. I heard the firmware upgrade issues are due to the wrong USB driver or a bad cable. FYI, v1.0.1 of the configurator and new firmware are out now. I'll make a video in a couple of weeks.

Good to hear it's still working well for you. It seems all you hear on Facebook are the horror stories with out a lot of detail. A lot of the guys who post those stories never answer my questions about which version of the radio they got. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just responding to bots. LOL. 🤣

Even Bardwell was knocking it on Facebook i think yesterday, So the bad rap definitely makes it’s way around. I think the elrs version/upgrade solves the biggest problem with literadio: the range. It does everything else it needs to do for the price, bind up and fly. I think this is a win for BetaFPV

I'd recommend just a module for the T-Lite since you'll have more future flexibility. This LiteRadio2 is really just a starter radio for someone who has nothing. For that, those who start with this are ahead of the 99% of people who started out on FrSky... 🤣

It's 100mW max power with a patch antenna so very directional. Assuming you have a good receiver and properly tuned antenna and you are pointing the patch antenna of the transmitter of the drone, you can probably expect about 1-2km range at a minimum. The max could be as much as 10km in ideal conditions. If you don't have a proper setup, fly in a noisy RF environment, worst case would be 500m. Could be even worse if you have bad antennas or faulty equipment (that can happen).

Hola, me quiero iniciar en el mundo del FPV, pienso comprar el kit Cetus FPV Pro que trae el Control LiteRadio 2 SE (con FRSky), pero tambien tengo la opcion de comprar por separado el control LiteRadio 3 (FRSky, con soporte para Crossfire), unas gafas eachines ev800dm y algun otro dron de mi preferencia, se ve mas bonito el kit,, que me recomiendan, el kit, o comprar independientemente para tener frsky + crossfire. If you think you can manage to bind/connect all the components of the system together yourself, get the parts separately. If you don't think you can handle it, buy the kit.

I heard those might be from a bad solder joint or bad wires and should be fixable if you are handy with a soldering iron.

Jumper T-Lite is an overall better radio for the higher cost. I think this ELRS LiteRadio2 will be a great starter radio for new pilots with no gear. I'm jealous they won't get to experience the random failsafes like us old timers have... 🤣

I did what you said didn't make much if any difference vtx is onlicke on goggles it says band channel power or R 6 don't have channel eight 400 for power change my goggle anttena got from 150 to 800 meter so I'm thinking if change drone anttena whitch will be better short to long on goggles went from long to short short better goggles sma RHCP drone ipex ufl connector wot high gain anttena should be l look at seen some 14 to 16 dbi goggles only got one MSA fittings would high gain patch be better than long lollipop etc any link would be me deside you have contacts use them as well I'm sure thank for advise

No to AA batteries. There is an internal lipo inside. Does not come with receiver, you have to purchase separately. Channels can be reversed with settings changes in configurator, 8 channels. All this information is in the manual.

bought 2 literadio 2se, the ones with usb-c . 1 came with defect gimbals so we wrote to betafpv and they gave us another 2 gimbals for free, after few weeks 2 other gimbals gave up. They even send us another 2 gimbals, but they did not last long either. I then gave up on that radio

I had a second gen that had tons of jitter. It was the SE I think. It had USB-C. I was new to FPV at the time and was really struggling with flying well. A friend had me look at the receiver tab in BetaFlight and sure enough the sticks were going crazy. I eventually replaced that radio with a T12 Pro and it was immediately noticeable how much easier it was to fly. This experience makes me a bit skeptical of these radios. Especially when you can get a T-lite for a few dollars more

I've talked to them about that and they won't do it since competing products at higher prices already exist. You should get the Jumper T-Lite if you want a screen. This radio with a screen will be almost the same price.

I have the literadio 2se and 3 of the potentiometers went bad so I got a replacement one for free and 2 of the potentiometers of that one have gone bad

Just because the older ones had problems doesn't mean the new ones are the same. How do you know they haven't corrected the problems?

For the money, it works well enough and the 2nd gen gimbals seem to have fixed the problems from the first gen. Springs still feel mushy, but the jitter and centering problems are not there anymore. I think they switched vendors for the potentiometers in the 2nd gen gimbals.
