Betrayal is my favorite game. Hands down. I am super excited for this edition. They took a lot of ideas from the Legacy game. Excellent quality of life.

I like some of the update to the rules. There's nothing quite as silly or as getting 3 or 4 rooms into a game of Betrayal, triggering the heel turn and having nothing to available to help you stop the monster.

I do not know what would prevent that in the new version....it happened to us twice.....5 plus is not a high target and there are a lot of omen rooms

@@christopherwintersvahn6087 I think it would need to be 7 to make an appreciable difference, but yes that is possible, but you might lose thespeed of play factor. I personally dont think it matters if you lose as it is not set up to be fair that just happens sometimes.

So, was just wondering if this edition still has an Asian character as an option? Most of the promotion doesn't show all the characters or it's from pics of 2nd edition.

@Jon Yoe - In the new one there is the choice of 2 characters on each hexagon. So there is a hexagon with 2 characters who are of Asian origin; Dr Dan Nguyen & Father Warren Leung the priest.
